Oh Naps. That is such an awful thing and such terrible timing. What an arsehole. Def speak to MW about support and possible referral to talking therapies of some sort. You will get through it xxx
I had my 20/40 scan on weds too and all fine (after convincing myself it wouldn't be...!) Placenta is low lying, so will have another scan at 30 weeks to make sure it has moved, which it probs will. It might explain why I had fairly consistent intermittent spotting until 15 weeks?
I also finally allowed myself to by something for the baby yesterday, which was the first thing. I bought tractor and sheep leggings! (We live on a farm)
@heeby- its quite unusual for a hospital to offer a 35/36 weeks scan as routine (unless there is another issue) most just do the 12 and 20. I don't think there is any scientific evidence to support a 35 week scan, and they cost a fair amount, which is why its not normally offered at other trusts. You will have a midwife appointment at 36 weeks, and they will check the growth and position of the baby there, by feeling and measuring your bump with a tape. So its totally up to you if you want the scan or not. But nothing to worry about, just the hospital deciding to offer 'extra'!
I've just set up some antenatal classes in my local centre, as the nearest ones to me are 40 mins away, and then nothing heading north until almost 2 hours away... Had a dream that no-one turned up the other night. Arrgh!
