Good luck @orangefolly with your scan! What time is it?

Ah girls I'm constantly feeling nauseous and exhausted & my mood swings are a joke 😱😩 I've been a horrible bitch 🤣🙈 & I just don't know why ha!

Non Alcoholic koppaberg... try that it tastes just the same tbh and you can poor it into a glass or rip parts of the bottle off that say alcohol free.

Happy to join this thread from the other one... August is gonna be a crazy month with us all 🙈

Xxx

orangefolly · 19/12/2018 09:10

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Scan is not until 2.45pm so lots of time to worry and stew first! 😂

I'm finding the tube quite challenging now the nausea has increased - all those smells 🤢

milly2000 · 19/12/2018 09:31

Hi ladies,

Bit slow on joining August Part 2 Smile

Hope everyone is doing well I haven't had a chance to read through everyone's posts yet!

I had an early scan yesterday. Wasn't much to see but there was a clear heat beat!!! I'm now 6 + 2.

Blii · 19/12/2018 09:39

Good luck @orangefolly. Will be thinking of you later.
Argh the tube whilst feeling nauseas is horrible. Especially when you don’t want anyone to know but could really do with a seat.
Glad I’m not the only one that already looks like I’m ready to pop! I’m usually a size 8/10 so this bloat is very noticeable. I’m working late today so will be wearing loose fitting clothes and for the foreseeable future.
I’m still not feeling particularly sick. It’s comes in waves but most the day I’m fine. It seems to kick in, in the evenings more. I have found myself gagging and reching over things that usually wouldn’t bother me. Not sure if it’s in my head still though. But this morning I could have easily been sick when I saw one of the kids bogeys. But I held it in.
I’ll be 6 weeks tomorrow and this is the most anxious time for me. The previous losses were both at 6+3 so everything is crossed right now.

Lovely news @milly2000 Grin

QueenofFox · 19/12/2018 09:40

@ DippyDiplodocus I'm sorry to hear about your DS. That must have been the hardest thing in the world.

My youngest DD (I have two) nearly died at 8 days old because she has a rare (but manageable) genetic condition. I'm looking at loads of a extra scans/tests/amnio this to see if this one has it. First scan Friday and then pretty much an appt every two weeks after that if all well. Can feel the anxiety creeping up at times.

@EverythingNow eeks wonder if we are right?! Hope you get your twins wish 😀 it's much more likely post 35 (I'm 37) whether it runs in families or not. Our finances couldn't take it I don't think.

Welcome everyone! For my work party I have virgin margaritas which looked like the real thing, and then left when everyone got v drunk. It is hard though!

Jelliestogether · 19/12/2018 09:54

When are everyone's booking in appointments? Mine's not til 11 weeks, does anyone know if this is going to cause any issues for my 12 week scan etc?

Is anyone else just not feeling hungry? I don't feel sick but I'm having to force myself to eat 3x a day. I've already lost 1.6kg (weighed myself the day I found out).

clairelee17 · 19/12/2018 09:58

Hi all. A lot of you are saying you're starting to be very nauseous and sick at times. I'm 7 weeks today, and only slightly queasy at times, but nowhere near being sick. Is there anyone who is like me and not being sick?! It'd be nice to know that I'm not the only one who isn't being sick! Is it normal to feel 'ok'?! Kind of wishing to be sick as it would feel real then.

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 09:59

@ss3ajb ha ha awwww I feel your pain honestly, it's £6 and looks like a sports bra/ crop top but you can SLEEP in it. Sexy schmexy, let's all get comfy !!!
There's one in peacocks for about a fiver called the ultimate comfort, seamless, no wires bra, they were EXCELLENT but I gave them all to my sister 😟😔😖😩 x x

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:01

@clairelee17 hi Claire 👋 I've been sick on this pregnancy from when I found out so it could be in my head lol. I just wanted to say that when I was pregnant with my boy I felt no nausea whatsoever until about 13 weeks so I'd say you're quite lucky and hurry up and feast on your favourite foods before they turn you sick 🙂🙂 x x

MrsRyan15 · 19/12/2018 10:01

@Jelliestogether my booking appt is on Monday, I will be 8+1 but I have already had a letter confirming my 12 week scan appointment, so you might get that before you actually have your booking appt.

Can you call your mw if you are unsure? I had to change my booking appointment as I am away the day they originally booked it. They were very accommodating.

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:02

@Blii the bloat is real !!! 😂🙂
It's a leggings and long top job for me then straight into massive nighty. Hope you're feeling ok otherwise x x

milly2000 · 19/12/2018 10:04

@Jelliestogether mines at 8+4, I thought that was a bit early but it's all they had and she said they like to get you in between 8 and 10 weeks where I live.

I'm also struggling to eat. I haven't weighed myself though.

clairelee17 · 19/12/2018 10:04

Thanks @JenMumma! I'm just nervous as I had a miscarriage back in September at 9 weeks and didn't really have many symptoms then, so hoping history doesn't repeat itself :( My boobs are so sore, and the exhaustion is chronic, but other than that, not much going on! Hopefully I'm just lucky, but equally, would like some more symptoms to kick in soon!

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:05

@Jelliestogether 👋 hiya ! My booking in appointment is at ten weeks so I was wondering the same. I know the first scan has to be early for certain measurements so I'm sure they'll do it on time, my friend was sent THE SAME DAY !!! Sometimes I think it's to do with the availability of the actual midwife / gp surgery maybe ?? Hope you're feeling ok x x

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:08

@clairelee17 I'm really sorry to hear about your loss that's so sad. HOWEVER..... but other symptoms seem really "positive" 🤔 in a messed up way 😂 so be careful what you wish for ! Nah seriously though some women get NO sickness so 🤷🏼‍♀️ x x

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:09

LOL at Mrs Ryan's label ripping 😃😂

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:10

MRS H EVEN 🙄🙄🙄

clairelee17 · 19/12/2018 10:11

Awww thank you @JenMumma! Seems that everyone is suffering from sickness on this thread though!!

Jelliestogether · 19/12/2018 10:12

@millie2000 and @jenmumma yeah that's what they said in my area too. They said it's because over Christmas one clinic is closed and the others are fully booked.

It's nice to hear others are struggling to eat but I'm sorry for you! I Only seem to see people saying not eating cos of sickness but I've not had that so far!
Great to hear your friend got sent the same day! As that was what I was worried about!

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:13

Forgot to say I'm now averse to poached egg. Wonder why x x

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:14

@clairelee17 to be fair my sickness has cleared up it's just smells of food that I really notice so won't / can't eat. I never thought I'd say this to anyone but I hope you're as sick as a dog soon 😂💋x x

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:16

@Jelliestogether they will sort you out try not to worry although easier said than done 🙂 x x evidently tis the season to be preggo so everywhere's busy I guess. They'll want to do specific measurements that can't be done after 12-13 weeks so if you think about it that gives them about 2 weeks to scan you, I'm sure you'll be ok, they take it very seriously nowadays 🙂🙂🙂x x

JenMumma · 19/12/2018 10:17

Where's avocado and donkey poach lady ? Hope they're ok 🙂 x x

Jelliestogether · 19/12/2018 10:19

@jenmumma your right! That is still 2 weeks after my midwife appointment. Definitely reassured me thanks!!

I'm looking at private scan between Christmas and New year maybe...Just to convince the other half it's worth it!! Has anyone else had a private early scan? If so was it worth it?
