@KMic nope, I'm never sick and can work through anything so this is a interesting change 😂
I also never call in sick for work normally.

KMic · 18/12/2018 10:33

@canonlyhopexo @avacadooo .... my theories are completely bloody useless 🤣🤣🤣

dragonmummy17 · 18/12/2018 10:43

Haven't got any hula hoops but mini cheddars helping loads with the nausea this morning!

PinkLady89x · 18/12/2018 10:59

Hi Guys,
I was here last month with a due date 4/9/18 and sadly had a chemical.
This morning I got this... technically, if it's positive then I'd be due on 30th aug! How crazy!! What do people think, does it look positive to you? AF is due in 3 days!! X

@EverythingNow same here. No sickness with either of my girls but feeling so sick and faint and dizzy constantly. It's almost unbearable. I've convinced myself it's either a boy or twins 😱 everything is a struggle at the moment when I sailed through first two pregnancies.

KMic · 18/12/2018 11:19

@QueenofFox when you say no sickness with your first, do you mean you just had none at all? Other than mild nausea and tiredness I literally have no other symptoms - my breasts aren't even tender ... I'm trying not to let it worry me, I've had no bleeding or anything, so perhaps I'm just lucky!?

QueenofFox · 18/12/2018 11:31

@KMic none at all with either of them. With my first I didn't realise I was pregnant until 10 weeks and only then because I didn't have my period. With my second, I knew because I was checking dates but no symptoms until 3rd trimester insomnia. Didn't show until about 20 weeks with first, about 15 wks with second. Already showing now (twins! 😱) honestly it's normal as well as normal to have symptoms, try not to worry tho know it's hard.

KMic · 18/12/2018 11:35

Thanks @QueenofFox !! Very reassuring! I am currently having to get up a couple of times in the night to pee which I've heard is another symptom, so there are signs. I'll probs feel better after my first midwife apt! I assume they listen for a heartbeat then? It is that just me being hopeful?

Are you expecting twins?! Or just a guess!? How exciting! My husband is a twin! But apparently it doesn't make me any more likely to have them! Phew! X

dragonmummy17 · 18/12/2018 11:42

@KMic you won't get to hear the heartbeat until at least 16w, and some midwives don't do it until 25w. The baby is so small it's difficult sometimes to find it even at 16w
I heard DS at 16w but she warned me beforehand that they might not find it

KMic · 18/12/2018 11:46

@dragonmummy17 ooo noooo I'm just jumping the gun then 🤣

dragonmummy17 · 18/12/2018 11:48

@KMic this part is so frustrating... it's so hard to just wait!

KMic · 18/12/2018 11:50

@dragonmummy17 it's all just completely new to me too! I think if I just had reassurance that there was something growing inside of me I'd be a bit more relaxed ... very tempting to get a private early scan.

Whoopsies · 18/12/2018 11:54

@PinkLady98x that looks positive to me!! Really hope it sticks, and so glad you're back!!

@KMic I never had any sickness in my previous pregnancy, nausea but wasn't ever actually sick. And all was great. I'm hoping for the same this time!!

@dragonmummy17 I have been resisting the urge to buy more tests to keep checking its real - I did 5 tho so can't really justify spending anymore Grin have a few symptoms but no sickness yet - have a sinking feeling that it may hit over Christmas although if it does it does mean its really there :)

MrsRyan15 · 18/12/2018 12:26

@dragonmummy17 mini cheddars are helping here today aswell. I've had nausea for a week or so, but actually threw up this morning for the first time.

I'm just about to start a 3hr train journey so armed myself with a bag full of snacks to try to keep it at bay!!

KMic · 18/12/2018 13:43

Well ladies ... milestone moment for me ... I have told my first person! My mum! She is - of course - over the moon for us. 😍

ss3ajb · 18/12/2018 14:13

@KMic lovely news!!!! She must be absolutely thrilled 😊 X I have been trying to work at home today but keep getting distracted by prebancy thoughts 🤣🤣🤣 x

xLauraa · 18/12/2018 14:15

@PinkLady89x looks good to me😍 congratulations!!

bubblegumunicorn · 18/12/2018 14:27

Is it normal to take your DH to your initial appointment mines been moved to Thursday and I've asked him to come but he can be a total arse when he's at work and won't say yes or no Hmm has anyone gone alone?

KMic · 18/12/2018 14:43

@bubblegumunicorn I'm planning to go alone. I think he will only join me for the scans Smile

Moncwf · 18/12/2018 14:50

Mins if I join in? Period isn't due until tomorrow but I got a strange letdown (as in when breastfeeding) sensation on Sunday night, tested yesterday and got a clear line on a frer. EDD 28th August, but with DS by due date got moved forward. Also planning to ask for 39 week c section this time so should definitely be August!

Moncwf · 18/12/2018 14:51

*mind. Bloody autocorrect.

xLauraa · 18/12/2018 14:55

@bubblegumunicorn I'm planning on going alone too 😊

QueenofFox · 18/12/2018 14:58

@KMic no I just have an absolute fear of having twins as would go from 2 to 4 children which would be tough for us! But all these early symptoms and looking massive already is panicking me. Peeing in the night is definitely a sign.

Think heartbeat is 16 wks but you'll be able to see a heartbeat from 7ish weeks. The first appt is health history and talking you through some of the choices you'll need to make if I recall like hospital/home birth/birth plan through my memory is pretty unreliable at the movement!

I have an early scan on Friday. Just want this week to hurry up!!

KMic · 18/12/2018 15:13

@QueenofFox ahh ok, thanks! It's all an exciting journey. I was to remember to enjoy it and try not to be too anxious.

Goodness another 2 on top of 2 would be a big jump!! 🙈 are your other 2 old enough to be able to help out? You'll have to keep us informed!
