@ScotsBaby2 2nd September. Not August but close 😂
Also I'm interested in this Facebook group? X

OctoberGirl91 · 30/12/2018 14:29

@ScotsBaby2 my due date is 28th august for the list please ☺️ xx

PinkLady89x · 30/12/2018 15:03

Ahh @ScotsBaby2 that's lovely to see it all like that 😊. Can't believe I should have had one on the 4th aug and I've now moved to the 30th! Hard to believe it really but I'm pleased I'm still here in August! That was quick work from my body 🤣.
So today I should be 5 weeks 1 day and I took a digital and got my 3+ weeks on it so I got the 1-2, 2-3 and now 3+ all at the right times!
I have had very mild cramping today, does anyone else get this? It feels mildly like period cramps but it's hard to know if they are actually there or if it's all in my head 😂. Crazy stressful times ay!
I bought two things in the sale today - one for a boy and one for a girl because I couldn't resist and if things don't go well, I'll keep them as a little memory. But I bought Christmas clothes for 3-6 months so fingers crossed I have a little one that fits them next Christmas 😊😊.
I'm thinking of booking an early scan for 6 weeks to put my mind at rest. I can't take the worry!

canonlyhopexo · 30/12/2018 15:04

Hi ladies due date is 13.08 and would be interested in secret private fb group x

RaindropsRoses · 30/12/2018 15:10

Scotsbaby2 mine is provisionally 25th August, thanks for that you're a star!

I've never understood how they can date it anyway tbh all babies are different sizes so it doesn't make much sense to me they would be the same at 12w! With ds1 I knew conception date but they moved me forward a whole week at 12w scan but I suppose they have to do it some how.

I'm up for facebook group a bit later on. My first one is still hard enough to keep up with! And I'm trying to limit social media atm.

So weird being near the back of the bus, I'm 6 weeks today and its going sooo slow just waiting for the bit when things start happening.

ScotsBaby2 · 30/12/2018 15:31

@canonlyhopexo @03cclarke pm me your email address and I'll do you in.

avacadooo · 30/12/2018 15:31

I'm game for a secret group!

Funkyemzie · 30/12/2018 15:43

@Starryeyed13 my other half thinks I'm absolutely bonkers for wanting to do 2 scans but it's just peace of mind! I think I would have one every week if I could!

We have a Chromecast so I'll do that tonight, just pop a mind numbing film on. Xmas Smile

ScotsBaby2 · 30/12/2018 15:44

Anyone who is as obsessed with dates etc as I am the website below gives a really good calendar of dates. It's American but it looks like it all matches up with our scans here too.

mightypinkdms · 30/12/2018 15:48

Mine is 20/8 by online calculator, but we’ll see 😁 I am in the east of England - Norfolk.

newmumma2019 · 30/12/2018 15:52

Had some light spotting so went to get bloods done yesterday. They offered me scan today. Says baby has stopped developing so need to scan again in a week to confirm. So now I just sit and wait to miscarry. Has anyone been in this situation? How long can that take?

avacadooo · 30/12/2018 15:55

@newmumma2019 hey sorry you're going through that! My best friend found out that her first stopped growing at 6 weeks but she didn't know about it until the spotting at 10 weeks and then it was a matter of days for her and it lasted a couple weeks.
This was back in April xx

ScotsBaby2 · 30/12/2018 15:56

@newmumma2019 sorry to hear your scan wasn't good news. Did they give you any advice?

newmumma2019 · 30/12/2018 15:57

Thanks @avacadooo such a rubbish thing to go through. Hopefully won't have to wait too long x

EverythingNow · 30/12/2018 15:58

@Newmumma2019 so sorry lovely xxx

newmumma2019 · 30/12/2018 15:58

@ScotsBaby2 no, no advice just to come
Back next eeek so they can officially diagnose x

ScotsBaby2 · 30/12/2018 16:08

@newmumma2019 that's not very helpful of them. Did they say how they know? What is baby measuring? I hope it's just date mix ups. Sending you lots of hugs though xxx

marajade12 · 30/12/2018 16:15

Thanks for the link @ScotsBaby2. I was using Natural Cycles and that was giving me a different due date than working from LMP. I think its because I tend to ovulate a bit later than the norm.

ScotsBaby2 · 30/12/2018 16:20

@marajade12 I think I've ovulated late and I have a long 32 day cycle so I think my dates are well out and I'll be moved at scan. My last baby was also very long (my partner is tall) so I expect to measure later than I am. It might all balance out in the end.

Chocolate89 · 30/12/2018 16:24

@scotsbaby2 I am due 4th August! Also would love to join the Facebook group!
I have been lurking for the past few days, have a bad chest infection and stuck in bed, so have been keeping up with all the posts but was too tired to post 😂

When are people planning to tell their other kids about the pregnancy? I was thinking 13/14 weeks...

Moncwf · 30/12/2018 16:43

@ScotsBaby2 snap, I'm a 32 day cycle do dates don't quite make sense. I was very confused with DS when scan put him due 6 days sooner, then he was 9lbs and very long at birth so made more sense. Will be interesting to see how dates go this time, maybe this one will take after me and be a bit smaller.

@Chocolate89 DS is only 2, so we'll probably start telling him properly a few months before. It's so far away it doesn't make sense to mention it to him yet.

Also up for a Facebook group.

@newmumma2019 do sorry you got bad news.

Moncwf · 30/12/2018 16:44

And I mean so not do. Bloody autocorrect

Kelpies · 30/12/2018 16:45

Hello!

Doctor dated me as 2 Aug and midwife on 30 Jul but I'm working to the furthest away one. Anyone else in Scotland?

Notanotherpawpatrol · 30/12/2018 16:47

I'm up for a Facebook group, I'm on there more than I'm on here! Please add me :)

PinkLady89x · 30/12/2018 17:02

@newmumma2019 so sorry to hear your news. I had something similar back in August apart from I didn't have any spotting. I booked an early scan at 8 weeks and they said baby measured 6 weeks and had no heartbeat so I had to wait a week and go to the EPU and they found the same. Was the worst week of my life waiting for that so I do understand. Basically I opted to have medical management and it was all over that day and I bled for 3 weeks.
When going through that weeks wait, I did read lots of success stories so maybe don't give up hope yet? The first scan people said that this can happen and it doesn't always mean bad news. I hope you're okay x
