@Nursiemum27 I'm expecting number 4 too. Mine are 18, 9 and 7! Just trying to work out how to tell the eldest!

Bakingabean · 28/12/2018 20:31

@MrsH1990 I totally get it! I feel so bad for being awful- I haven't cried yet though. I'm just irrationally angry! My uber driver was chewing gum really loudly and I wanted to strangle him with the seat belt. It was only a 10 minute journey -I'm on crutches at the mo not just (that) lazy!

Nursiemum27 · 28/12/2018 20:49

@EverythingNow good to know someone else out there is in a similar boat!!! Nervous/excited to do it all again with such a big age gap!

EverythingNow · 28/12/2018 20:55

@Nursiemum27 me too!

Nursiemum27 · 28/12/2018 20:59

@EverythingNow And don’t know about you but we have only told one person with it being such early days and I’m bursting to tell people! Crazy to think this time next year we will be a family of 6! New car and a house move is on the cards for us!

Ninunina · 28/12/2018 21:29

I've just been informed of a pregnancy symptom I wasn't aware of. Apparently I snore loudly when I'm pregnant. DH said that it happened every time I've been pregnant. How weird is that!

Blueberry2018 · 28/12/2018 21:57

Ear infection... brilliant- just what i need!!

starryeyed13 · 28/12/2018 22:01

No worries @milly2000 hope you enjoyed!

You've given me a hankering for a Chinese takeaway now haha 😂

ScotsBaby2 · 28/12/2018 22:50

For all those who are congested you can get quite cheep electric diffusers on Amazon. I use it with DD when she is congested. Just check which oils you can use and set it up inyour bedroom.

I'm currently got super shivers and feeling very pathetic. I hope it's just the cold.

PinkLady89x · 29/12/2018 00:25

@OctoberGirl91 I haven't asked about aspirin but I've read so much online and it sounds like they wouldn't give me any help until I have had 3 mcs... the chemical one I had wouldn't even count so I would have to wait for 2 more and I just thought that I didn't want to wait for this to happen to later find out this could have prevented it simply so I'm just trying a no regrets approach this time!
I will speak to midwife about it when it gets to that time 😊 good luck! X

ScotsBaby2 · 29/12/2018 05:15

Wide awake again. I need sleep. Why does my body not know this???

Kcjoe · 29/12/2018 05:58

@ScotsBaby2 I too am wide awake! My partner has just got up to go to work so I'm now wide awake. I've been awake most of the night. Today I shall be going out to find something to help with congestion! Thanks for the recommendation on the difuser x

Bakingabean · 29/12/2018 06:20

@ScotsBaby2 @Kcjoe me too! Woke up at 5:45 to go to the loo. Can't get back to sleep. So bloody annoying!

OctoberGirl91 · 29/12/2018 07:22

Thanks @PinkLady89x such a nervous time don't know what to do for the best. Just want to hopefully get past 8 weeks and have an early scan.
xx

UnicornDust17 · 29/12/2018 07:36

@PinkLady89x I'm on low dose aspirin once a day, have to stop at week 20. I've had several MCs though so it's prescribed a under the reoccurring misscarriage clinic. I've been on it since August

ss3ajb · 29/12/2018 08:03

I woke up at 4.15 to go for a pee - third one of the night - could not get back to sleep gave up by 6 and went to clean the kitchen as DH snored on - going to St Ives today for new year - feel like death lol and really queasy this morning :( am hoping I might get to snooze in the car 🤣

scatterbrainedlass · 29/12/2018 09:50

Hi everyone, 6 and a bit weeks here with baby number 3. Constant nausea, wasn't this bad with either of the others ( one boy one girl). Hoping it passes soon Sad

Funkyemzie · 29/12/2018 09:56

So booked our 8 week scan last night, it's on a Sunday so don't need to take any time off work, bonus!

Ok, I think I have serious OCD...is anyone else still temping? Honestly it's the only way I know I'm pregnant! I'm 5+2 and no sickness, still got a bit of backache but that's all, occasionally get the odd muscle twinge in my abdomen, I really should be grateful.

Does anyone else find it hard to get to sleep? Had twitching legs for the past week!

starryeyed13 · 29/12/2018 10:21

Totally with you ladies on the waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep!

Scan tomorrow, will be 6+6 so really hoping it's all positive!

EverythingNow · 29/12/2018 10:29

@funkyemzie I struggle to get comfortable. I had spd and restless legs in my last 2 pregnancies. I already feel restless legs so sleep with a pillow between my legs, might be genuine but also might be psychosomatic! My boobs are so sore i wear a crop top bra to bed, they're massive too and have increased from a dd to a g cup, I can't sleep for squashing them!

EverythingNow · 29/12/2018 10:30

Good luck for tomorrow @starryeyed13!

Kcjoe · 29/12/2018 10:45

Good luck today @starryeyed13. @EverythingNow I had spd with my son and ended up on crutches. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia so this pregnancy could be interesting. Really can't wait for my scan on Monday. I think it might still be too early to show a heartbeat. Starting to worry about the coil being taken out and the risk of miscarriage now x

Moncwf · 29/12/2018 10:47

@Funkyemzie I'm about the same as you and have had days where I don't feel anything other than completely normal. I've also had the odd slight bit of nausea and sore boobs. In my last pregnancy though symptoms really ramped up about 7 weeks. It's still early days and I know plenty of people who didn't find out they were pregnant until 6 weeks + (always baffles me but I'm fairly regular and am either very very careful with contraception OR frantically TTC, so I'm probably too aware)

I have struggled to get back to sleep after waking up. I actually never gave up my pregnancy pillow since having ds 2 years ago! DH hates it, but I sleep so much better with it.

How is everyone working out gestation? From ovulation or LMP? If ovulation are you doing the weeks as changing on o day e.g 5 weeks = o date + 3 weeks? I know I but tempted to go by LMP as puts me further along, 6 weeks as opposed to 5+3. With DS my due date was moved almost a week sooner, pretty sure that's because he's unusually tall with a particularly long back and neck and my dates were right!

Moncwf · 29/12/2018 10:54

Oh and I have been taking b6 which is meant to help with nausea. Have only had nausea when I've forgotten to take it.

Funkyemzie · 29/12/2018 11:12

Well I'm actually 5+1 today not 5+2 and thanks @Moncwf that is very reassuring to know I'm not the only one! My anxiety still got the better of me so just took this. I think all is on track, I feel better now! 😁
