I'm so sorry if anyone hates feet but does anyone know what the hell is going on here?!
Took this five minutes ago and they're back to normal now?

August 2019 Babies, part 2!
MrsRyan15 · 24/12/2018 16:19

Hi all, Happy Xmas eve, hope the tiredness and nausea isn't ruining the festivities for everyone too much.

I had my booking appointment with the midwife today, it feels exciting to be 'in the system' another little milestone completed.

Am 8+1 now and have my scan booked for 4 weeks today.

Blueberry2018 · 24/12/2018 16:21

@dragonmummy17 Thinking of you. Fingers crossed all will work out.

Funkyemzie · 24/12/2018 16:21

@dragonmummy17 when u last had sex, was that at the point you conceived do u know?

@avacadoo that looks really strange! It could be to do with blood circulation for your growing baby? If it happens again maybe see your GP?

Blueberry2018 · 24/12/2018 16:22

@avacadooo Were your feet cold? It looks a little like how Raynauds Syndrome can make your feet go?

Ninunina · 24/12/2018 16:38

@dragonmummy17 I'm sorry to hear that the scan wasn't what you were expecting. I hope things will have progressed next week.

UnicornDust17 · 24/12/2018 16:53

@@dragonmummy17 is it possible you could have ovulated later than you thought? Fingers crossed for your next scan xx

dragonmummy17 · 24/12/2018 18:24

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.
@Funkyemzie I think that I was when I conceived as I had ewcm at the same time
@UnicornDust17 I would love to think that but because of the ewcm and the fact I got 1-2 weeks on a CB digital 2 weeks later (4 weeks ago) I think it's unlikely. However we will see what the next week brings.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow whatever you are doing

avacadooo · 24/12/2018 20:09

Argued with a doctor to see my feet, he was awful told me the history of the bloody NHS and said if it happens again go back but made me feel really bad about worrying especially cause my foot was all tingly to..
Also told me I basically didn't know shit, I've had problems with my feet before and tried to explain them to him but he wouldn't listen.
Never going to a doctor on Christmas Eve again!

Blueberry2018 · 24/12/2018 20:34

@avacadooo Grrr makes me so mad, shouldn't be treated like that. Keep an eye on it, it must be to do with circulation.

ScotsBaby2 · 24/12/2018 21:32

Eeek. It's my DD's first Christmas tomorrow. I'm so excited even though she has no idea what is going on.

How are preparations going for all other mums with other babies?

Kelpies · 24/12/2018 21:41

Hello! I'm just over 8wks but had no symptoms and yesterday (after telling my family our news knowing we couldn't keep it hidden over Christmas) started to bleed. It was spotting coloured most of the time but with clots. Spent most of the day sitting in A&E as 111 had said to go as I had sharp pains on one side. Cervix was thankfully closed and we had a scan which should that everything was where it was supposed to be and with a heartbeat. Phew!!!
I feel so much more on edge now than I did before..

Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas Eve!

UnicornDust17 · 24/12/2018 21:44

@Kelpies sorry to hear that, glad everything is as it should be though. Hope you are able to rest up over the next few days

starryeyed13 · 24/12/2018 21:50

Hi everyone, happy Christmas Eve! Normally I'd be out at the pub, but having a quiet evening this year.

I'm 6 weeks today. Is anyone else finding the waiting really tough? I'm quite an anxious person anyway and finding it really tough not really knowing what's going on. My boobs are very tender and also feeling quite tired, but other than that I haven't really had any symptoms and am now slightly paranoid that the lack of sickness is a bad sign! I've booked a private scan for Sunday by which time I should be 6+6 so hopefully things will be a bit clearer by then.

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas. Such an odd thought to think this time next year we might (fingers crossed!) have our own little Santa's elves!

QueenofFox · 24/12/2018 22:07

@Funkyemzie @Ninunina @dragonmummy17 it's so difficult with the work stuff. I feel I can't say anything till 12 weeks, my scan pushed my dates back a week so even longer to wait, and while they won't say anything overtly, I know they'll be unhappy. There's a good online government calculator that tells you whether you're due SMP or MA and how much. I would get an amazing package of us joined a month earlier, oh well.

Really hope there's good news at the scan next week @dragonmummy17

Happy Christmas all!wont be online for a week or so.

PinkLady89x · 24/12/2018 23:05

Hello Ladies,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but as a teacher, it's been crazy busy times!
So after my chemical last month, (due date would have been 4/8/19) I now seem to be 4 weeks 3 days with a new pregnancy (due 30/8/19) and it seems crazy that it's happened so soon! I'm trying not to even think about it at the moment because I know how it can go wrong for me (mmc in August at 9 weeks). Kind of crazy that I've been pregnant 3 times since July! Anyway, this time I've had mild cramping and backache... I've had no spotting at all - last month I was spotting on the day I found out and that turned into bleeding and chemical etc. this time it does seem different but I can't help but not get attached if you know what I mean?
It's so lovely coming on here and reading about how everyone else is getting on. I hope everyone's early scans are good and reassuring.

Is anyone else having cramps? I seem to have them more when I've had a busy day - yesterday I spent the whole day in lakeside doing Christmas shopping and got a lot of cramps in the evening. Apart from that, my boobs seem to have grown a lot already. But I have nothing else apart from no period so I'm just wondering if anyone else is as symptomless?

Good luck ladies and merry Christmas!

Noopey · 25/12/2018 07:34

Well. At 7.25 this morning I had my first vom of this pregnancy. Merry Christmas to you too bump!!

Merry Christmas All. Good luck to those keeping it secret today. Enjoy the reveal to those who aren’t!

Xmas Smile xxxx

Whoopsies · 25/12/2018 10:07

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely day.

RaindropsRoses · 25/12/2018 14:07

@starryeyed13 I feel exactly the same, I hate this waiting bit. I was so anxious the whole time last time just counting down each milestone. I wish I could relax but I just wont until baby is here safe. Cant wait for the first scan x

Blueberry2018 · 25/12/2018 15:46

@PinkLady89x I could have written your post- previous ectopic and chemical/early mc, all since aug. Also a teacher!! Ha. X

PinkLady89x · 25/12/2018 16:07

@Blueberry2018 ahh! Fingers crossed for us both this time around!! It's so stressful now! Can't believe how easy it seems to be to get pregnant but keeping it is so difficult! X

Blueberry2018 · 25/12/2018 16:11

@PinkLady89x yes defo. I am 7+2 today and no bleeding or spotting unlike the last two preg. I had cramps with this one at 4-5w but they eased off (they were never severe but were noticable). It'll all be fine for us both im sure 😊. What age do you teach?

ss3ajb · 25/12/2018 16:24

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a good day and sickness not too bad :)
I am 6+6 today (if calculations are correct) I swear I have a bump my tummy is huge! Am sure it's not just my Christmas dinner 😂🤣

@PinkLady89x I have had cramping throughout but definitely worse in the evening am 6 + 6 - in the beginning I thought it was just af coming so was even more surprised at the pregnancy! I was worried about them too but after reading up and talking to friends who have been pregnant it's apparently normal so trying to relax about it although it's hard to

@dragonmummy17 really hope your next scan shows good news xxx

@starryeyed13 I have been worried as have not had any sickness although queasy a few times - but my friend who has a healthy little girl this year had no sickness and all was fine - that reassured me a little

Blueberry2018 · 25/12/2018 21:47

Hope everyone has had a nice Christmas day for those who celebrate it. I have had bad nausea and constipation all day, but other than that it was fab! Hope Santa has been kind to you all, think how different next Christmas may be for all of us first time mummies!!
