@KMic thanks for the tips!
@marajade12 it's hard to stop worrying and feeling anxious. This is my first pregnancy and I feeling like a yo-yo, sometimes I'm feeling great and excited and other times I'm questioning everything I do and whether it's right. I'm trying not to worry about anything that's not happened yet and keep positive. Btw, does anyone have good recommendation for a pregnancy app?

Moncwf · 20/12/2018 12:36

@Lazysundays18 sorry for your loss.

@luceeee I used ovia last time, it's American but has various size comparison themes which can be fun

KMic · 20/12/2018 13:02

Struggling today at work ladies! Nausea had hit again and I keep feeling light headed! anyone else had that!? I was just sat in a meeting and thought I was going to faint any minute!!

Whoopsies · 20/12/2018 13:38

Bought these in Lidl this morning, I have eaten them all!! But they were sooo good and I need all the salty snacks right now!!!!

I finished up work last Friday and was supposed to have surgery Tuesday but this pregnancy literally stopped it. I am not looking forward to going back to work in the new year!
@Whoopsies I love salt and vinegar as well. keep switching between wanting sweet and salty things e.g. nuts and then honey and butter crumpets.
@KMic went out for a walk earlier and got groceries. It was hard work lol.

EverythingNow · 20/12/2018 16:02

@lazysundays18 I'm so sorry to hear that x

stylix1981 · 20/12/2018 16:17

@queenoffox im in sheffield. I got my scan appt today for 28th jan, will be around 12+5

KMic · 20/12/2018 16:32

@stylix1981 how have you managed to get your scan apt through already? Have you had your first midwife apt?

EverythingNow · 20/12/2018 16:38

@kmic where I am the Dr sends off the referral for scan before you even see the midwife. So my referral went off last Tuesday and my mw appointment isn't until 2nd Jan. Who knows when I'll actually hear from the ultrasound dept!

KMic · 20/12/2018 16:41

Oo really @EverythingNow ?! My doctor didn't say anything about doing that so I guess the midwife does! I have my apt on 7th jan so will just check then! Always get a bit worried they won't have room or something!! 😱

stylix1981 · 20/12/2018 16:42

@KMic there was a little confusion with dates as my last period wasnt normal and also im quite anxieous due to previous loss and depression so had an early scan and midwife appt last week

ss3ajb · 20/12/2018 16:42

Did another test today as was feeling anxious but still happily pregnant - going to try really hard to stop fretting about it all but it's hard - am excited that I got my booking appointment today for 15th jan 😆 Hopefully scan will follow shortly hope everyone had a good day and not too poorly xx

Whoopsies · 20/12/2018 16:47

Last time by booking in appointment wasn't until 10 weeks, but the mw phoned the hospital there and then to book me in for my scan at exactly 12 weeks. So expect it will be the same this time!

KMic · 20/12/2018 16:55

Ahh ok! Guess it's just slightly different depending on area!

QueenofFox · 20/12/2018 17:37

@stylix1981 how exciting to have the date already 😊

it seems like it's so different in different places - everyone has had such different experiences

dragonmummy17 · 20/12/2018 19:14

@Lazysundays18 so sorry to hear that. Lots of hugs

UnicornDust17 · 20/12/2018 19:23

Oh @Lazysundays18 I'm so sorry. I hope you have people close to you who can help and support you x

Triskaidekaphilia · 20/12/2018 20:17

So sorry for your loss @Lazysundays18 Sad Flowers

@KMic That's exactly how I feel, faint/dizzy along with the nausea. It feels like if I haven't eaten all day when I obviously have, hence why I've ended up eating way too much. I've had to get up in the night/early morning and have some toast a few times so I can get back to sleep.

Had the early scan today, all looks good, saw the heartbeat and little stumpy legs, and baby even gave us a little wiggle Grin. Measuring a 9 weeks instead of 8+2 though which doesn't fit with opks, the clearblue week detector tests or even when we think we had sex Confused so I personally think it's measuring big but we will see what next scan says... midwife got back to me today, not having first appointment until 11+3 so chances are it won't be til quite a bit past 12 weeks, so I'm glad I paid for the early one.

bluesdetoi · 20/12/2018 20:29

@Lazysundays18 I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending you lots of love and warm hugs xx

newmumma2019 · 20/12/2018 20:41

@Lazysundays18 I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Look after yourself xxx

KMic · 20/12/2018 20:42

O wow @Triskaidekaphilia ... amazing!! Congrats! 9 weeks too! Will you still be August due date?!

I have just been constantly eating! I'm going to be the size of a house by the end of this pregnancy!!!

newmumma2019 · 20/12/2018 20:44

@marajade12 I have the same issue regarding drinking this Xmas as big Irish family and they know I love a Prosecco!

Have early scan tomorrow. Very nervous but have everything crossed!! Had MC in September so don't want to put them
Through that again but have decided to tell them Sunday if all good because at least they will know if we do need any support but hopefully all will be positive news!

Triskaidekaphilia · 20/12/2018 21:05

Me too @KMic, I lost nearly 2 stone at the beginning of this year to help concieve and have a feeling I'm going to put that back on and then some! One of my co workers had to eat through her MS too and she said she gained 4 stone. Well if I am 9 weeks my new due date is 25th July but it doesn't seem right to me because I'd have to have concieved on CD9 but I've not logged any sex until CD12. DH thinks its possible we had sex earlier and I didn't log it, but can't quite remember!

@newmumma2019 That's a good idea, we wanted to tell people on Christmas which is the main reason we had ours, but was a lovely experience for the two of us as well Smile

dragonmummy17 · 20/12/2018 21:08

@Triskaidekaphilia amazing... I'm so glad it went well
@newmumma2019 good luck for tomorrow

Has anyone told work yet? I wasn't going to until after 12 week scan but I got caught in a situation today where I felt quite vulnerable and wondered if I should tell them earlier. I'm off until January now so would be 10 weeks by then...

Triskaidekaphilia · 20/12/2018 21:18

@dragonmummy17 I had to tell the 5 people I work most closely with because my sickness was so bad and I can't normally eat on shift. If you think you're going to feel unsafe I'd tell them when you come back to save yourself the worry.
