Yep, I had a 4th degree tear lastg time so they advised it!
All OK so far.. Shes sleeping loads but I know it's like that the first night!
Her name us Merryn Catherine Martha and weighs 7lbs. Came into the world to jingle bell Rock! X

Aw congratulations Smorg, lovely name. Hope you are recovering well and enjoying every second of her x

@Athers666 feel for you!!! You sound like your getting very impatient to meet bubba. I know the feeling. I was certain i was gonna have mine early. I’m rather put out that he hasn’t come yet and I’m not even overdue!!

@MagicalCreatures Yep very impatient, haha, it's like early pregnancy when you are obsessively looking for symptoms, now I'm desperately on the look out for labour symptoms😂

Omg congratulations to all I you lovelies that have had little bundles!
It's so exiting and they're all beautiful!
I'm due on Wednesday.... no signs this little fella is going to appear any time soon, only thing is a very achy pelvis and pressure I just hope he's here before Christmas Day

@Athers666 omg yeah.... do you do the whole toilet roll check after a wee thing too 🤣🙀... it's my most favourite thing to do at the moment

Haha yes December. Early pregnancy blood knicker check has returned for the mucus plug labour symptom knicker check. Oh what a strange and wonderful world we live in x

My OH walked in to me crotch sniffing this afternoon!
Not my golden moment at all 😂
I read that amniotic fluid smells sweet... apparently I'm just pissing my pants 6 million times a day....yay! Fab!

😂😂😂 oh my god I just laughed out loud in bed and DH is looking at me strangely.
I’ve been panicking for the last 2 weeks about whether I’m losing amniotic fluid or not. And then sniffing to check, but yep your right. My bladder clearly just has a mind of its own at the moment. X

Glad I'm not the only one just peeing myself constantly. Unfortunately I have been like this throughout the pregnancy since.i was constantly sick with morning sickness in the first trimester. Now it is less dramatic but constant. I recommend Always pads for urine incontinence. Glamorous! Really hope I can get some pelvic floor back after the baby is born... It took a while last time and I never fully recovered. :(

Had massive emotional breakdown yesterday when my husband went to work with my car keys. Totally out of proportion and left me wiped.out and good for nothing here rest of the day. Anyone else such a hormonal mess? :( I had a similar moment in my last pregnancy and went into labour the next day, but no sign of movement from this baby yet. I would really like to have the baby next week and so be back home for Xma ( it is normal to stay in hospital 4-5 nights here after giving birth and I found it really helpful last time, particularly with establishing breastfeeding.).

On the plus side I got a good night's sleep last night, which makes a lot of difference!

Hey y’all - just checking in while I feed!

I love the knicker check chat. @Athers, I never had a show, never lost my plug or saw my waters break! The baby’s head was so low down that everything was behind it so it all happened in theatre apparently.

So I checked obsessively for no reason for about three weeks 🤷‍♀️

3 days overdue now. I know that's nothing really but arghhhh I'm so fed up! Am stuck in the house, super uncomfortable and running low on my heartburn medicine so will need to see the GP soon to get more. I can't be bothered, just want to have this flipping baby!😂

It's my due date today... and I'm feeling very crampy and uncomfortable!
Been awake since about 5, done 2 loads of washing already 😂

Doing OK here this morning. Joshua was quite fussy last night, think he was struggling with gas. He's sleeping soundly now though whilst I'm up and watching paw patrol with my toddler... Dh and I are going for afternoon tea today which I can't wait for! We've been making the most of the portable sleeping baby stage this time round!

@December2018 happy due date! Hope you get your baby soon! I'm still waiting. Woke up last night every few hours with period pains and thought oooh this is it! But then it stopped again in the morning and has all gone quiet again. Going insane here!

@December2018 happy due date hun. Keep yourself busy. I always find that when I’m moving around, I get the pains as if something is happening. I’ve just mopped all my floors 😁
@Athers666 annoying isn’t it. I had stomach pains in the middle of the night. Almost like a food poisoning pain which I’ve heard can be a sign. I couldn’t sleep so came in the living room and slept on the sofa. Then I woke up to nothing. X

@magicalcreatures Ah not just me then, lol, it's torture isn't it! I'm going to try floor mopping after reading your post now!

I went to see my midwife today and she thinks baby is Breech 😱
I have to have a scan at 4:30 to see what way he is, my cramps have completely gone now too 😂
I would be so disappointed if this pregnancy turned out to be a massive fart 😊

@December2018 Hope you're ok! How did the scan go?
Ugh I keep leaking small amounts, not sure if it's amniotic fluid or just the little monster lying on my bladder. I want to cry.

Well apparently I've got a real mischievous one on my hands here!
He's completely head down! And not back to back anymore so from somewhere between 10:15 and 4:30 he's turned and got himself in the normal position 😂😂
He's playing pranks on me this one!

@Athers666 do the old knicker sniff check 😂😂
My OH says I'm never living that down as long as I live haha

Oh yay that he's head down! Little tinker! Mine is head down I think still as he sometimes hiccups basically in my pants 😂

@December2018 Thank goodness your little monkey is head down. Bit late in the game to be needing that to worry about.
@Athers666 maybe baby has lowered himself abit and is pushing more on your bladder. X
