Ah I see, frustrating, maybe ring and see if they can pull it forward?

Does anyone know how big dimensions wise a scan print is? Frame hunting for if all goes well

BirthdayKake · 08/12/2018 17:23

Off you fuck Claire 😂

StargazyDrifter · 08/12/2018 17:48

Just had a nap featuring what I can only guess was Claire! Definitely off you fuck. 😂 Stay strong, Onestep2!

TwinkleDay · 08/12/2018 18:30

I think off the dick and off you fuck Claire are defo the best quotes I’ve herd for a long time 😂😂 x

MakeAWhish · 08/12/2018 18:46

😂😂 Sorry couldn't help myself 😂😂

MakeAWhish · 08/12/2018 18:49

@Onestep2 you have to let us know how the evening goes!

MakeAWhish · 08/12/2018 21:04

Btw has anyone else got acne? I've got big sore spots all over my chin x

StargazyDrifter · 09/12/2018 00:25

MakeAWhish yes, I've had red, solid bumps on my chin ever since my BFP around 24 October. 😱 I've also been getting occasional spots elsewhere on my face (tmi) with white heads. I don't usually get either. Can't use any of the anti-acne masks because they have an active ingredient that's not recommended in pregnancy. I have instead tried soda powder and lemon juice mixed together as a mask, saw somewhere online, but tbh didn't do much. I'm hoping that all of this will go after 12 weeks when the hCG peak starts to fall. It's horrid and covering up with foundation for work doesn't seem to do it any good.

StargazyDrifter · 09/12/2018 00:26

(I'm also imagining Claire rolling around drunk somewhere and Onestep2 chuckling to herself in bed)

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 08:32

@MakeAWhish spit wise yes I’ve been fighting the spots since my BFP but this toner and lotion help. I posted the same a while back la Roche posay range the sell it in boots and it’s really helped me with the hormones boost the skin oily ness and I have got a natural balm from our tiny bees last week from and Xmas market and that helps my dry patches as I have a weird blotchy dry but all round my mouth... lovely

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 08:36

There you are, my next question. When do I need to start thinking about stretch mark and nipple creams and moisturisers for the rest of me?

Thanks @TwinkleDay , is it these? I'm desperate!
I'm so annoyed at DP today. He was out last night for his football Christmas do and came home smashed, and with a sore shoulder, from doing cartwheels apparently?! Dick. He then proceeded to thrash around all night so I barely got a wink of sleep. DD1 came in around 5.30am and when DD2 came in at 7 I sent him off to her bed to sleep it off. I don't think I've ever actually been in a mood with him before, this is a first (together 2 years)

@twinkleday when you start leaking I'd start with the nipple cream, you can easily get cracked and sore, BUT ultimately, the best cure for poorly nipples is breast milk! I did use multi-mam compresses and cream when they were really bad and they were a life saver! I totally recommend them, even though they're expensive!

Did you mum/grandma get stretch marks? They can be genetic, so if they didn't get them you may well be lucky! I didn't get any with my first which is good, because I am useless with any kind of routine for skin care I'd recommend starting to regularly moisturise and drinking lots of water now because it'll all help in the long run. I think bump will start getting noticeable at 20weeks ISH, so definitely by then!

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 08:48

Yes the one on the left, sounds like your struggling with spots as opposed to dryness so that should work well, apply with cotton wool day and night :) ... he made a dick move there then, I’m sure he will come round and reflect on his actions, make a nice list of jobs for him to do so he can be hungover and guilty.... muahahahaha

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 08:52

@laburna I have a million questions for my mum and we haven’t really spoken about her experiences before other than where me and my brother were conceived 😖 lol ... she can have them all fired her way on Xmas eve lol. She did say earlier in the year she would be honoured to be my birthing partner - even though she’s a massive wimp but my OH has a fear of hospitals, when I had bloods taken he was hiding behind the folder deep breathing lol 😂

Onestep2 · 09/12/2018 08:56

@makeawhish that would defo piss me off. But then I must say I tend to be in a mood with DH at least once a week 🤪 🤷‍♀️

ANYWAY..... I won't leave you lot in suspense! So Claire and Dsis came round last night. Claire's first comment.... have you put on a bit of weight 😂😂 (bitch) laughed it off and said it's the season to be be jolly. Then in living room while DSis making cocktails and she was staring at me so intently. (Right at my tummy) I obv had put in a dress that makes me look skinny hahaha DSis came in with Daquaris (she had obv added the booze when they wer done) Claire took one drink and was like omg they are strong 😂 me and Dsis laughed and said she was a lightweight and we wer in it for a good time not a long time. Claire did look puzzles as i downed mine and made a comment along the lines of i really didnt think you would be drinking. Repeated this 3 times and put on some atrocious dance music and DSis had a boogie then started acting drunk and obnoxious (prob just obnoxious) Claire made her excuses and left 😂😂😂 Me and Dsis waved at her from window "off you fuck claire" then I drove Dsis to McDonald's and came home to bed.

Mission accomplished.

Laburna · 09/12/2018 09:03

@twinkleday my DH is also very squeamish, so I was mighty surprised at how well he did during my labour. I think his hatred of medical stuff was overwhelmed by his need to make sure I was ok. I was given morpheine during labour and basically passed out between each contraction. His had to keep waking me up to finish the food I was eating so I didn't choke 😩 (I laugh about it now, but I'm sure he didn't find it funny at the time!)

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 09:18

@Onestep2 pahahahha mission accomplished, off you fuck Claire 😂😂 what an absolute horrid piece of work she is, the claire I knew tbh I wouldn’t piss on her if she was on fire! Love the choice of name... and as for the comment about putting on weight, spin the right back around on her , or make a comment about something she wore not suiting her, I see that jumper your wearing, fat Annie at work has just the same one in a size 24 😂😂 ... not to offend anyone that is that big but Yano xx

Delilah7 · 09/12/2018 09:19

@Onestep2 perfect!!! I don't see how you don't tell her to fuck off with some of her comments!!! Ugh can imagine when she finds out you are!!!!

MakeAWhish · 09/12/2018 09:21

@Onestep2 that is brilliant!!! Haha! She will have gone home so confused 😂 Mmm McDonald's now I have a craving haha.

AIDE2424 · 09/12/2018 09:25

I’ve just caught up on all the thread and “ off you fuck Claire” it has cheered me right up after a few awful days at work!

Hope everyone is well ❤️

RooKangaroo · 09/12/2018 09:34

@Onestep2, so glad it all went ok! Your sister sounds brilliant.

Claire sounds horrible, I've no idea how you both put up with her.

On a related note - who do you think told her about the pregnancy? Sounds like some loose-lipped people out there :(

GiGi18 · 09/12/2018 09:42

Hahaha this Claire stuff is gold. @Onestep2 poor you for having to deal with such a witch. Hope you can torment her a bit further over the festive period 😂

BirthdayKake · 09/12/2018 09:53

Glad Claire fucked off without too much difficulty!

Ooh, Whish, weird, I've also been with DH two years! AND I've been getting those horrible red spots. They're not even spots are they?! More like fucking boils...

I didn't get out of bed at all yesterday 😳 had all my meals in bed and nearly choked while throwing up my chips and cheese. That was fucking scary!

24 days until my scan. Hurry uppp!! I would like to know that this horrendous sickness has a purpose and there's a healthy baby in there!

vixy1988 · 09/12/2018 10:00

Hi guys,

One Christmas do down last night/DH work. I am known to love my drink, but I overcame this by ordering apple riser and asking for it in a prosecco glass!! Worked a treat. And after the meal at 10pm, I went to bed and DH didn't get back to the hotel room until 3!! Very merry and drunk.

Now, one down, just my 30th birthday party to go next weekend!

I need a medical excuse I think due to friends and family- maybe a chest infection and antibiotics?
