Glad it's looking positive, @Chinks123, though I completely get the panic about dates being out so much. I know the two weeks will see long - good news about it being free though x

I'm fully expecting to be at least a week, if not more, behind from my current (LMP) dates. Scan isn't until Jan, and we can't decide whether to get an early one or not. I keep changing my mind.

TwinkleDay · 06/12/2018 18:46

Well I rang my mid wife’s earlier and they were really confused as they thought I was based at another hospital but that’s only for birth ( around me they are closing hospitals left right and centre and my local is only a 8-6 centre now which I want to do most out of. I called them twice as they were going to phone the other hospital to be referred and they said someone will call me back tommorow to arrange the scan, ffs how hard can I be I am 10 + 5 and still not been scanned though I haven’t heard anything back from bloods so that’s good I suppose. Been waiting on the post man for 4 days but today just tops it... and they spelt two of my names wrong on all the stickers grr 😡

Chinks123 · 06/12/2018 18:56

Thankyou @RooKangaroo, given that I didn’t get a positive until I was 7 days late it does make more sense when I think about it. I’m just staying off google!

I’m glad I got my early scan even if it has made me worry, but I suppose I haven’t gained anything from it so, it’s whether you can hold off until you’re 12 weeks Smile

ReginaPhalange89 · 06/12/2018 19:07

I feel so bleugh today. Felt slightly nauseous again this morning but went once I'd eaten. Just feel so lathargic and can't be bothered .

I'd anyone else constantly eating ? 🙈 I honestly can't stop, and it's all junk I want ! Meals just don't seem appealing but I could happily sit and eat a pack of biscuits 🙈 I've already put on a few lbs I'm worried I'm going to end up so heavy !

jaykaydee · 06/12/2018 19:45

I'm still lacking in appetite as well Regina Although I've been putting it down to the cold I've had this week. No real sickness apart from one morning last week (long may it last), just can't be bothered with food really. Last time I felt like I was eating for 10!

Softkitty28 · 06/12/2018 20:34

All went well at my scan. Baby looking healthy and measuring at 8+5 (I had thought 9+1 so pretty close). Heartbeat was strong and fluttering away, we could even see the baby moving arms and legs a little which was amazing. He also checked around for any signs of what caused the bleed this week but nothing obvious, so he just put it down to old blood coming away as things stretched out. So relieved! Smile

RooKangaroo · 06/12/2018 20:38

Yay @Softkitty28, such good news! x

TwinkleDay · 06/12/2018 20:53

@Softkitty28 awesome news yay! How big did they measure out of intrest?

StargazyDrifter · 06/12/2018 21:01

Softkitty that's really lovely! Though sad we're not due date twins any more. Might all still even out by 12 weeks!

Regina definitely also hungry all the time, and hunger seems to also cause more nausea, though I don't necessarily fancy eating anything on offer when I do have the hunger. Ugh.

TwinkleDay that's very frustrating about all the admin faffing around and an unnecessary worry. I have huge amounts of understanding for the NHS at the moment but that doesn't stop me worrying alongside that. They've sent me a second/new booking appr for example. I'll have to ring them. Keep persevering, you'll get there!

Chinks I guess you know the pregnancy is in the right place/not ectopic, and there's nothing wrong with the various organs involved - ovaries, cervix etc. That's some peace of mind at least while you wait for the next scan. Totally get the frustration of it being 2 more weeks of first trimester worry though!

I'm definitely feeling over sensitive today and imagining all kinds of things. Also feeling impatient and grumpy with work hiccup I'd normally shrug off. I think everything just feels like more of an effort and it sort of costs more in energy maybe. Saturday can't come soon enough! Hope everyone is having a relaxing and sick free evening. 😊

Chinks123 · 06/12/2018 21:03

@StargazyDrifter That’s exactly what she said, and said it was a “beautiful and crisp” sac so..yes just a bit miffed I’ve got a 2ww but I’ll be so so happy if it’s all ok regardless of dates Smile She even told me I’d ovulated from my right ovary, I didn’t know they could tell.

StargazyDrifter · 06/12/2018 21:14

Aww that's a nice description she gave you! Yes they can tell, I think by where th corpus luteum cyst is maybe? That's the thing that sustains the pregnancy until placenta takes over. It's been giving me a bit of pain and they found mine on the right side, also side I ovulated from btw. In all my previous 3 pregnancies (no DCs yet tho!) they always said I ovulated on the right. Makes me wonder what the other side is doing!

Chinks123 · 06/12/2018 21:18

Ah I never got told last time, quite interesting to know. I’m also feeling quite over emotional, sort of like it’s my time of the month. I didn’t get the Toby carvery I’d been wishing for all day and I could have cried.

Softkitty28 · 06/12/2018 21:44

@TwinkleDay measured at 2.1cm x

StargazyDrifter · 06/12/2018 21:46

Aww I know exactly how you feel. I could have cried when there were no doughnuts at Tesco tonight. I also convinced myself that my annoying colleague is plotting against me because he looked at me and didn't smile. 😂

wombatron · 06/12/2018 21:53

@Chinks123 that's so funny about the Toby Carvery

@ReginaPhalange89 I've been hungry all week. I scoffed half a chocolate bar at 10pm and prayed I didn't wake DH. I can eat and not long later it's like it didn't happen. I feel like such a piggy!

Bubble77bee · 06/12/2018 22:08

Hi everyone! Sorry I am rubbish at tagging names on these posts - haven’t really worked out how to do this on my phone. I’m off for a scan tomorrow morning - will be 6+5. I’m constantly changing between feeling optimistic one minute, then convinced things will have gone wrong again the next.

bumbletub · 06/12/2018 22:34

Hey all,

So sorry to hear about all the losses :-( thinking of you all.

I'm six weeks pregnant due 28th July. Totally shocked. Booked a private early scan for tomorrow but worried it's too early. Just my minds needs the reassurance everything is ok. I haven't had proper sickness yet. Ekk

SnailorSwift · 06/12/2018 23:01

@LittleChicken11 I'm another in NI. I had community midwife appointment at 6+5 but she really did equivalent of what the GP has done for others - BP, checked height and weight and told me what foods to avoid, recommended getting some vaccinations booked in and then a few blood tests. Still no date for scan - frustrating!!!

MakeAWhish · 07/12/2018 07:06

@bumbletub you're my due date twin! Let me know what you managed to see on a scan, I have one on Sunday.

Bubble77bee · 07/12/2018 07:25

@Makeawish - currently sitting in the carpark outside the EPU, wondering how soon I can go and wait outside.

Bubble77bee · 07/12/2018 07:33

@Makeawish sorry, only quickly read your post and thought you had tagged me! Just realised it was someone else.

wombatron · 07/12/2018 08:10

@Bubble77bee good luck this morning! Mine is at 12.30 and I'm feeling the same. Let us know how you get on!!

Bubble77bee · 07/12/2018 09:35

Pleased to report some good news, at least for now. Scan showed a heartbeat and was measuring 6+6 (I am 6+5 today, but think I ovulated a little early). So relieved, have never got this far before.

MakeAWhish · 07/12/2018 09:41

Wonderful news @Bubble77bee ! How reassuring to see a heartbeat. ❤️

GiGi18 · 07/12/2018 09:57

Great news @Bubble77bee 😍

I think I'm 8 weeks today so going to start taking some "bumpies" not that I have anything other than bloat at the moment. I took a pic at 4 weeks so will be good to compare. Only 4 weeks to go till 12 weeks, I keep thinking that's no time but it's actually pretty much the whole time I've known again! When you put it like that it seems ages!

What's everyone up to this weekend? I've got the start of lots of Christmassy things so going to have to be sneaky about not drinking at two things over the weekend. Hardest will be a girls lunch, we would usually all be on the bubbles. Not sure if I should just tell my friends or not. X
