Thank you for the reassurance @kentishgal, it’s good to know others have been in the same boat and everything is ok.

@StargazyDrifter I’m 8 wks 5 days

StargazyDrifter · 03/12/2018 22:39

Ok so unlikely to be implantation. Definitely quite a few similar occurrences on here. Brown blood can be old blood that's been pooled in there and gets dislodged with by everything stretching or (tmi) a vigorous bowel movement.

wombatron · 04/12/2018 06:58

Softkitty I think as long as it's not red you're ok. But a good idea for your own reassurance for the scan this week.

I've been waking up in the night feeling nauseous. Anyone else ever had that??? Literally wakes me up at 1 or 2 am it's horrid as I wake up feeling worse come morning. Don't know if it's because my belly is empty perhaps?

TwinkleDay · 04/12/2018 07:15

@wombatron yes try munching on some digestives I had them on the go from 6-8 weeks in the bathroom and bedroom as apparently it’s annoying to hear munching while in bed. Lol

Yes brown discharge is apparently normal as long as no pain, just older stuff making its way out.

Hmm see what happens with us at work today!

wombatron · 04/12/2018 07:24

Thanks Twinkle.

I've always been low carb but I feel I may need to up them now. After my last MMC I'm just grateful for symptoms!

RooKangaroo · 04/12/2018 07:27

@TwinkleDay, "as apparently it’s annoying to hear munching while in bed" 😂

You should tell him it's not exactly a picnic to be pregnant, either!

wombatron · 04/12/2018 07:51

I'm imagining grown pregnant women essentially dream feeding 😂😂😂

Jojobunny · 04/12/2018 07:58

I quickly need some advice I just spend the night coughing up blood:( will see gp today but will it hurt baby?

itsallgreek · 04/12/2018 08:16

Hello all, haven't been on much, just got caught up with everything.

So much loss on this thread so far, I'm really sorry for the lovely ladies that have been through the unthinkable these last few days.

Also those having migraines, nausua and problems with work I hope you feel better and get things worked out soon, not long left until we all get to the 2nd trimester and get a break.

I have no real news I'm just plodding on the same, I'm going for my 3rd scan today (Greek system) I'm 9+2 so hoping to get a lovely scan pic and that bean looks more like a baby this time and less like a bean.

After work I'm off to buy maternity jeans leggings and a bigger bra (woohoo finally gonna get out of my A cup for the first time in my life).

Very exciting day awaits just gotta get through another 7 hours at the office first 😕

RooKangaroo · 04/12/2018 08:25

Christ, @Jojobunny, you poor thing! Dr Google seems to think it's unlikely it's about the baby and more about you - chest pains, straining to cough, etc. Possible it can affect the pregnancy though.

Hope the GP sees you ASAP - if not, get yourself to A&E x

blueeyedviking · 04/12/2018 08:39

@wombatron Me! Woke up at 4am nauseous and couldn't go back to sleep.

I mentioned it to my husband this morning and he was like 'Yeah I'm feeling pretty tired too' Hmm Sometimes I just want an acknowledgement of how tired I am but I don't think he realises how close I'm to collapsing of exhaustion...

@twinkle my husband says the same. I may start hiding my food in the bathroom then..

@jojobunny - I don't think it will harm the little one but whenever you caugh up blood you should always go to GP right away.

@itsallgreek sounds like a lovely day ahead! I think I have to get some maternity clothing too

StargazyDrifter · 04/12/2018 08:45

Aww let us know how you get on itsallgreek!

jojobunny I'd definitely get seen asap - the sooner you are well, the better for the baby.

blueeyedviking I've had similar with DH. He's been loving going to bed early and saying how he still feels tired etc. I get that, but struggle to explain how it's not a luxury kind of thing for me, and that all the rest in the world isn't even enough to fix what is a very physical exhaustion.

itsallgreek · 04/12/2018 09:38

Here here on the men in our lives and their ability to not acknowledge that our tiredness. I said to DP last night at 9 o clock that I'm off to get my pj's on and get into bed cause I'm tired and he answered ill be with you soon I've had a really hard day and realllyyy need an early night to, he even hinted that he'd like a nice back rub Hmm

As if comparing having a late night the night before and a kinda difficult day means he should get a back rub while I'm busy creating life and in terrible need of hours and hours of sleep..

itsallgreek · 04/12/2018 09:40

I could of killed him but then I remember that we spent all day in bed together on Saturday and he was very sweet and loving so I let him off with a look of death.

Will let you know how I get on later and hopefully I'll upload scan pic if it's a good clear one

Kentishgal · 04/12/2018 10:19

I don't know how you ladies who are actually being sick and have been working are coping - I'm sat at my desk just with nausea and I feel like I can't cope. I just keep taking deep breaths to try and fight the nausea waves but I can't concentrate, I just feel so sick.

StargazyDrifter · 04/12/2018 10:19

😂😂😂 This is definitely also the picture in our household!

vixy1988 · 04/12/2018 10:33

Hi @Kentishgal - I am in my office trying to keep it down. I find eating crackers (Waitrose own) dry help a lot. And I've stopped tea too so just water and crackers!!

Kentishgal · 04/12/2018 10:41

Thanks vixy1988 I'll give the crackers a go.

reeny19 · 04/12/2018 10:46

Oh goodness keep it together those at work today! You’re managing way better than I would I bet.

Back at work today and no symptoms whatsoever since yesterday afternoon. So now I’m wondering whether Sunday and Monday’s fiasco was just a regular migraine, made worse by the fact that I couldn’t have my usual meds for it.

Maybe it’s still too early for me to get the horrendous pregnancy sickness. Anyway. I’m enjoying being symptom free (apart from sore boobs) and will make sure to appreciate every minute of it!

smerlin · 04/12/2018 11:56

Sorry to be another bearer of bad news. Went for follow up scan today and have had a miscarriage so I'm signing out. Feeling awful as I had been feeling sick the past few days which I thought was pg nausea but maybe am coming down with something instead.

Hopefully be back on a board soon!

HallowsandHorcruxes · 04/12/2018 12:05

So sorry @smerlin - it's just so hard.

Unfortunately I'm also checking out, haven't posted much so as not to worry anyone that may have similar symptoms but be absolutely fine but ours has been diagnosed as ectopic so just waiting on blood results to determine treatment then back on the TTC train.

Wishing you all very happy and healthy pregnancies xx

Kentishgal · 04/12/2018 12:34

Smerlin and Hallows I'm so sorry, I can't believe there has been more sad news. I hope you both have some good news soon, look after yourselves.

TheScaredyKat · 04/12/2018 12:39

So sorry to hear this @smerlin and @hallowsandhorcruxes what dreadful news. Sending love x x x

Delilah7 · 04/12/2018 12:43

@smerlin @HallowsandHorcruxes so sorry ladies zzz

Delilah7 · 04/12/2018 12:55
