@dreaminofholidays shes still not moving much which is stressing me out but was on monitor for 30 mins and she was wiggling and midwife said it looked perfect. Going to see how she is today and I'll go back if I need to. I feel sorry for my pup somedays she gets a good walk somedays I cant make it to the end of the street 🙈 she gets to excited when hubby gets home and takes her out Haha x

@dreaminofholidays Thankyou I will have a proper look, I went a bit crazy as soon as we knew all was well so have calmed down a bit now but for when I start shopping that will be handy!

@xJune88 same here, although I've not had a chance to do much about it... bubs has defiantly gone very quiet last few days. I'm sat up in bed now just poking her to get her to move a little. She is pushing back, but not quite as enthusiastically as she used to. Might get looked at today if I'm still not getting much movement... I expect it's the limited space?! But it's still worrying isn't it?! Eek 😬

@kisses4u looks like your imsomniac too woo! I'm so tired of been tired been on sofa all night, now in spare bed, don't want to keep hubby up. Little girl has been wiggling like mad today I just cant keep up with her, she drives me bonkers. But if she goes quiet again I'll defo be going back I'd rather be safe. Yeah just go get checked the staff don't mind at all and it just helps with anxiety too! I drive myself mad x

Hi ladies! Hope you’re all doing ok? Any signs of babies coming?
Just wanted to share..... My little girl was born on 13th April so now a little over 3 weeks old!!... Weighing 8lb 8 and born via emergency c section after a very traumatic time in hospital!!... It’s been a crazy few weeks! xx

Aww congratulations @Maydot bet she was worth it though! My little girl has been driving me insane with reduced movements and scans but shes been wriggly today, was offered induction but didn't feel the need yet and was very pressured and not given thinking time so had an awful week but feeling abit better today, just want her here safe now, 1 week today!! X

@xJune88 not long left to go at all for you!!... Definitely stick to your guns, don’t let anyone push you in to anything you’re not happy with!!
If baby is fine and you’re fine hold out til atleast your due date!! I went 11 days over, my waters broke the day before my induction was booked!! x

@Maydot congratulations!

@maydot that's my plan my growth scan predicted 6.8 not the giant my fundal measurements are saying so I want to give her till her due date and aslong as I'm happy with her movements I'll leave her till then! Have had some mild pains over the last week every night but they disappear, nipples have started to hurt and leak and had alot of poos in the last 2 days but could just be coincidence just want to meet her. Hope you are enjoying Mummy life! Xx

@xJune88 Oooo Hopefully it won’t be too long! I’ll be waiting for the birth announcement!!
I really am, it’s the most amazing thing but Gosh it is hard work!!... Took a while to get over the horrific birth and still can’t look at any photos taken at the hospital but my girl is everything!!... and we're getting to know each other more everyday!! 💕

Aaaaaah huge congratulations @Maydot lovely news!!! What did you name her? Sorry your birth experience was rough, hopefully you can get a chance to talk this through with someone? Ask your Healy visitor about 'birth stories' I think most trusts offer this.

I'm 8 days off my due date, not sure if she will be early, on time or late... it's a real unknown with second babies, most come a bit earlier?! Oh well I'm happy to wait as I'm full of cold and can't sleep as mouth breathing! Also messes up my breathing techniques for labour which all involve nose breathing. Eek! I want to shift the cold before baby arrives but afraid all the coughing is going to get me going 🤦‍♀️

@kisses4u we named her Dottie 🥰
We’ve been offered a debrief at the hospital any time we like so we’ll get to go in and sit down with the midwife and doctor and they go through everything that happened and why so we might do that in a couple of months but it’s getting easier every day and I know the hospital just did what they had to do to get Dottie here safe and sound!
Any signs of your little one coming?
I can’t wait to hear of all the little ones arriving and the other birth stories!! xx

It's due day! Currently in hospital been induced got the first pessary in and had a sweep, now we wait.... x

Hopefully baby is here now @xJune88 we are thinking of you!
I'm 39+4 today and off to see the MW for a sweep this afternoon. I've had a few twinges but nothing much happening. Bump has dropped now and I can breathe again plus my reflux has improved! Phew! Does mean I'm needing to pee more tho 😳

No baby here yet! Not even close. Got examined yesterday at 4 and was over 3cm but was over contracting and baby was stressed after first pessary so wasnt allowed anything else. Things have slowed down overnight so I'm on the list waiting to go to labour ward for my waters breaking been here since Monday at 11.. very tired and petrified of having the drip but if I need it I'm asking for epidural x

Def ask for epidural as I did this with my first when I was induced. Makes it much more bearable. Hope you are ok. I'm sure babe is here by now!

I'm over due now by one day! I'm not too bothered but I expect as the days pass I'll start to get irritated 😆

How's everyone else?

Sorry guys! She arrived on the 17th at 23.54 but weve had alot of issues trying to get us both healthy again. Been in hospital 8 days now I am exhausted! Baby struggled to breathe, had infection and was taken away. She is picking up now and fingers crossed we can go home soon. I ended up 23hrs in labour, 3 hours pushing, theatre for attemptive forceps then csection with spinal block as the pain was coming through the section! Very traumatic and sore but I love her so much. My milk is in too. Wow 😂!

@maydot congratulations on the birth of Dottie. Sorry to hear it was traumatic. A debrief sounds a good idea.
@junex88 congratulations on the arrival of your little girl! Sounds like you've had an incredibly tough time of it too. Are you both home and well now?

Congratulations to you @xJune88 so sorry you had such a tough time! First births seem to be pretty hard work for most! My son was a 3 day labour with lots of complications! Don't fear tho, second babies are easy! My birth was text book! I'm so lucky! Baby Josephine was born Monday night (20th) and is perfect!! Had a few really tough non sleeping baby nights, but last night she settled better and I think it coincides with my milk coming in and her being fuller! Hoping for the same tonight!

Congratulations @xjune88 @dreaminofholidays and @Maydot . I'm glad your little ones have arrived safely. Sorry I've not been on in a while. I found out at 34 weeks that baby was extended breech. I went in for a check as there was a slight concern my waters were leaking. Doctor wanted a scan. Midwife had said that morning baby was head down... 4 hours later scan confirmed baby was extended breech. So that was a shock. We tried moxibustion. Decided against ECV. Due dare was 20th May. I had a planned caesarian on 15th May. Seth David Vaughan born 15/05/19 at 10.29am. Weighing 8.1lbs. We're totally in love with him. 😍💙🦕👶🏼
