Hi Girls, sorry I’ve been absent!!
It’s my due date today!!... Had period type pains for about a week now, terrible back ache and really strong Braxton Hicks but no signs of labour yet!!... I think this little one is going to hang on for as long as possible!!
I have a sweep booked for Thursday 😬
How’s everyone else doing?

Oh wow @maydot how exciting!!! And how very real!! Seems like your in early labour though maybe the latent stage that can last weeks. Snore. I'm ok glad my sickness and diarrhoea has passed and all pain has stopped and movements have picked up. Was petrified she was going to come yesterday!! X

@dreaminofholidays just over 4 weeks to go! Finish work tomorrow yay work in a school so 2 weeks holiday then maternity starts straight after that. Can't wait just to chill out xx

Helloo how is everyone? Can't believe how quiet this group has gone... anyone had they're bundle of joy yet?? I'm 37+1 but bump measures 3 weeks ahead, I've had some mild pains but they soon ease off, discharge has increased too.... so exciting but also terrified haha x

Each week is ticking by quite quickly I'm now 15+2 and really Struggled with the heat this weekend so dread to think how I'm going to feel Come August! Starting to feel more real as each week goes by

@2018isanewyear aw wow time seems to be flying! Can't believe your over 15 weeks now! Yeah I don't envy you been pregnant over summer I've struggled the last few days, heat and pregnancy are not a good mix haha xx

We won't be finding out.... I wasn't sure so thought once we know there is no going back but can always change our mind out and find out privately if we change our mind. So exciting for you all nearing the end!

We always said we wouldn't find out but ended up not been able to resist haha 🙈 if you have the willpower I'd try not to, what a lovely surprise x

@junex88 similar to you really. Just feeling very pregnant now. Off on a spa day tomorrow with my friend, part of me wishes I'd done it a couple of weeks ago. I will be term on Friday so going to go for a curry!!
We haven't found out, sometimes I do wish we knew in terms of clothes (truly neutral is very hard to find) and also decorating the nursery. xxx

@dreaminofholidays a spa day seems like heaven!! Oh wow keep us updated and I'm glad we know in a way but would of been nice to have a surprise I think our attitudes just changed we wouldn't of found out in previous pregnancies but think we just wanted to know what we were having this time, don't know why, we both just agreed. Pregnancy insomnia here woooo I'm tired of been tired and awake at ridiculous hours 😴 x

@junex88 hope you have managed to get some sleep! Been awake since about 330am here. Hips are so uncomfortable right now.

There's no right or wrong answer on finding out. Having a baby is such a huge change that I can totally get not wanting the extra uncertainty around whether it's a boy or girl. Particularly when getting to this point hasn't been easy.

I'm fairly convinced I'm having a boy, nothing to base it on, just a feeling I got at my 12 week scan. I've found myself looking at little boy clothes more than girls so will be shocked if they say its a girl! x

@dreaminofholidays not much sleep here I look and feel absolutely haggered haha! Nothing to do today though just dog to walk and food shop so I think I can manage. I just knew I was having a girl before any scans, everyone told me it was a boy even the midwife said boy! I just knew I was having a girl, don't know why just did aha xx

had my 16 week appointment today and heard the heartbeat it's the best thing that I have every heart my heart feels like it's going to explode!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well and feeling full of baby!
I'm 37+3 today! Feeling huge!
My belly seems bigger than with my son, but I'm measuring the same. Feeling ready now.
Full swing nesting! I've decorated three bedrooms now and we are finishing off the decor downstairs so we won't have anything left to do once bubs arrives! 🤞
Got everything ready now, hospital bag packed and hypnobirth classes completed!

How's everyone getting on with their antenatal classes? Did you make some good friends? I'm still best mates with two of mine who I see weekly three years in!

Hope you are all well and those with smaller ones, anyone finding out sex? Any imminent scans coming up?! Exciting

Sounds very exciting @kisses4u!

I'm not 16+2 and finally feeling like this will happen for us, I'm now more excited than nervous, heard the heartbeat and starting to feel little flutters every now and then.

Our next scan is end of May where I'll be 20+ week and all along that have been my biggest milestone, I'm sure there will be other things to worry about but feels like such an achievement to get that far.

We won't be finding out, DH would love to but I would like the surprise (it's our first)

@kisses4u wow you're busy and organised I have no energy now at all! 38+1 no signs yet, back just kills if I do more than walk the dog all day. Hospital bags fully packed, and 3/4 through online positive birth company package it's amazing, makes so much sense even if it doesn't work I've learnt a lot and feel reassured. My antenatal classes finished 2 weeks ago they were also really good. Just excited to meet her now! Scared over how big shell be I'm still 3 weeks ahead but midwife on Thursday so well go from there I guess! X

@2018isanewyear yes I do recommend the hypnobirthing! I've not been very good at reading the book or practicing however due to my very busy 3 year old (and lots of diy!) but I hope to really get my nose in the book now I have more time as DS has increased his hours at nursery now he is 3. I'm doing the popular Katharine graves technique. I'm pretty sure they are all very similar but that's the one taught by our teachers. You can just buy the book or download the tutorials and relaxations online.

Wow @xJune88 not long left for you either! How are you feeling apart from the back ache? Feeling ready to pop like me?! Hope @Pancakes7 is doing well and @dreaminofholidays as I haven't seen a post from them in a while. I've not joined the fb group still as I can't remember my mn password to log in online! D'oh.

Today I forgot I was pregnant for a silly moment and found myself at the top of a very big climbing frame with my 3 year old! Yikes! It was tricky getting down and the onlookers were disapproving 😳oops! Won't do that again! 😆

Yes very much ready to pop! Nipped to hospital today as had reduced movements and every midwife who sees me says oo your all baby arnt you, you wont have long left. So everyone keeps telling me but shes very comfy!!! X

37+5 today, I lost the mucus plug last night and now for every ache or twinge I'm wondering if it's something starting.

@kisses4u you are super woman, all that decorating plus a 3 year old. I still don't know how anyone manages in pregnancy with other children. Bet it's lovely having those rooms done. I'm still working through my house and garden to do list.

We had our last NCT class last night too, after a couple of reminders the teacher finally put up a bit of paper for everyone to put their numbers on. Would have been nice had that happened much nearer the start. Everyone seems nice so hoping there are some potential friends in there.

This could be slightly controversial but I got the positive birth book and I'm struggling with it. All the experience comments just feel a bit fluffy to me. Has anyone else found that?

@junex88 I've found since 36 weeks I've slowed down quite a bit. I have to sit down after walking the dogs and things like gardening just feel harder.
Guessing having the dogs means that walking isn't going to help labour come on either....
Were your movements ok yesterday?

@2018isanewyear exciting you are having a surprise! If it's any use I have found Next really good for neutral clothes.
