You are all so much better organised than me... have only really started buying stuff in the last fortnight. Must be great seeing the nursery nearly ready.
I would be up for a Facebook group, does anyone know how you set up a secret group?
Sorry to hear so many are suffering with pelvic pain, sounds really difficult. Is there anything you can do to ease it?
We're off on a mini break next week, I'm going to order a name book and take that and a couple of different colour highlighters so DH and I can each go through it and find names we like.
@2018isanewyear I'm always panicking before a scan too.

Hi all, first scan went well : ) little heartbeat flickering away quite overwhelmed and feeling reassured..... for now 🙄

@2018isanewyear Aw how lovely. I'm so glad. Hearing the heartbeat is so magical. I'm out with my Mum. Going stir crazy spending every weekend resting. So nice to be out. Sat having a tea. Baby is kicking 💙😍

@2018isanewyear yay congratulations. Reassurance is good even if it lasts a short while. How far are you now? Xx

@xJune88 I'm 10 weeks today : ) feeling confident this time it may actually work and starting to get excited!! It's really reassuring seeing people that have been in the same position further along, reminds me that it does happen so why not for me too! 12 week scan on 1st April so on count down for that now 🤞🏼

That's another positive too then, seeing a heartbeat past that point is good and atleast your 12 week scan isn't too far away xx

@2018isanewyear lovely news on your scan. Hope the 12 week scan rolls around quickly for you.

@pancakes7 I know what you mean about having to spend weekends resting. I'm very happy now on maternity but previous to going off I just felt like all I did was work and the I was so drained for anything else.

@dreaminofholidays I'm good thankyou :) she's so active now all day and I'm loving it. I am huge though I really don't know how I'm going to manage another 8 weeks in going to pop!! Just cleaned all house which I'm now regretting back is killing. 4 more weeks at work!!! How are you xx

Knew midwife who did my 28 week app measured me wrong telling me I was 2 weeks under. I'm 32+2 and measuring 33 1/2. Just had my 31 week appointment and managed to sneak onto a last minute course to help prepare us haha. Baby is back to back so hopefully she'll turn but so excited! X

Hello ladies how we all doing? Getting huge? I feel like whale but I bloody love it! Getting a big shiny round tummy to show off is amazing eh! I'm 32+1 today! Can't believe only 8 weeks left (unless I get lucky and she wants to make her appearance early being bubs no 2...) here's hoping

@Kisses4u Tbh theres only 2 of us so kind of a non starter. I've joined another group instead with 100 members. I can invite you if you want to that aswell as ours? You can open mumsnet on your phone in the phones web browser to use the messaging.

@junex88 measurements seem to vary quite a bit don't they. When i had my growth scan the sonographer said up to 36 weeks baby's are still chopping and changing position so there is plenty of time for her to move yet.

When does your course start? We start NCT tonight, feeling quite nervous about it. Hope it's a nice group. Will be good to start learning something about babies as I've not been reading anything about them so totally clueless.

@kisses4u yup it's just me and @pancakes7 in the Facebook group so we haven't actually posted anything but the group is there if you want to join. We are both on the Mayish 2019 group which seems really nice. Tons of activity on there.

Nursery feels now like it's starting to come together. Decorator came yesterday and did the wallpaper and furniture was delivered late last week so DH is going to build it on Sunday. Really excited to see it as an actual nursery. How about yours?

Agree it's nice having a bump to show off, had a couple of shocked responses from people who were expecting me to say baby was due in in the next couple of weeks rather than 7.5 weeks. 😂

@dreaminofholidays yeah midwife said plenty of time to move, mine is today too! It's week 2 at the course but were joining tonight which makes me even more nervous. Tonight is all about coping with Labour. Yelp. We're just adding finishing touches to nursery now and were all done. 6 weeks 6 days to go!! X

Ooh I'll try to get a msg to you pancakes, I'm so rarely on a laptop. Mine is like prehistoric is so old and slow! I literally never go on it but I endeavour to join you ladies!

@dreaminofholidays yes DS is very excited! He keeps talking about bump, I think he is expecting a brother and a sister as he is confused by us saying it could be either... this makes no sense to him, so he's decided there are two babies 😆 he is always talking about when they are here and what songs he will sing to them etc. So sweet! Hope the novelty of a sibling doesn't wear off too quickly 😬

Our nursery is looking lovely one minute then a dumping ground for stuff the next! My hubby has taken to using it as his dressing room and irons his shirts etc in there! (Does he put the ironing board away I hear you ask - Hmmm no never 🤔) so I'm going to have to fight for baby to reclaim their room when they get to 6 months old 😆

Hi all, I have my 12 week scan Monday and starting to get excited! Then that anxiety creeps back, it's not till 2pm so I guess I'll be a wreck most of the day I'm pretty sure I'll be bang on 12 weeks going off my private scan a few weeks ago. Does anyone know how long I'll be in there, I have only had nhs scans at the early pregnancy unit and it was when things went wrong so never really experienced this side yet (hopefully)

@2018isanewyear let us know how you get on today! I'm really panicking today been sick 4 times, have severe diarrhoea and minor back pains that come and go praying it's not the start of anything, it's far too early! 34 weeks. Hoping it's just a bug x

@junex88 I hope you feel better soon. So random but today I have also been throwing up and getting back pain in waves. Must be something in the air.
It has made me realise I am going to be a total wimp in labour! Hope it passes very soon as we don't want to meet these babies just yet.

@kisses4u you don't need to go onto a laptop to access messaging, you can just use the internet on your phone rather than the app

More sickness but seems to of eased abit. Just my back is killing me and get random pains in front. Have put a pad in just in case anything happens. Hoping it's just a nasty bug! X
