Morning June bfp-ers, here is thread 4!

I've got my scan tomorrow, I've had two already and the dates have changed each time so will update tomorrow when I know!

@Bigonesmallone3 you won't be last to have your scan at all - you'll be in the middle as due date mid June! Good luck for Friday.

Have we heard from toomanyflatwhites? Her scan was today, I don't want to tag her but I've been hoping for a good update.

Ps good idea @MadeInCornwallx3 - I'd lost track of where everyone was!

Might be me @Bigonesmallone3! I'm 18th June by LMP but a couple of early scans put me a few days earlier - hopefully all will be well at tomorrow's scan and I'll know for sure!

Ahh thanks @toasterstrudle! And sorry for radio silence - yes all good with my scan this morning, edd confirmed from private scan as 14th June (can't add right now as I'm on my phone), just had a super busy day!! The blood test results came back in the spot too, low risk though 1 in 535 for downs sounds slights scary to me, but age risk alone is 1 in 100 so I should take comfort from this I suppose.
I was so bloody tense during the scan I was making weird claw hands and when it was finished I was so exhausted I could have collapsed in a heap. Instead I've been running around ever since!!

Aww brilliant @toomanyflatwhites! I sounded like a bit of a stalker there Blaming being signed off work - I'm getting very invested in everyone's pregnancies and scans! So glad it went well. I know it's hard to trust the nhs 'low risk' assessment, we're going to have to as well as can't really afford/justify a harmony test. But I'd still be happy with your score, it's a 99.8% chance all will be fine - which is really high!

@Bigonesmallone3 you are definitely not the last! I had a couple of early scans that put me back (I ovulate ridiculously late) so my due date is now 3rd July. Scan 21st December. Will probably have an ELCS late June though so decided to stick here.

This will be the first baby I will not know the sex of til the birth.. Anyone else waiting?
I have one of each already and DD will be two just before the baby is born so I would like to have another lil girl but DP and DS would like a boy.. but we would all like a happy healthy baby so we r looking forward to a surprise this time :)

Bigonesmallone3 this is will be our 4th surprise. #1 is a girl and #2 is a boy. Last pg on discovering we would not be finding out the gender, so many people said to me "oh you already have one of each so it doesn't matter." I found it a really odd thing to say.

I'm waiting too! This is my first baby. I'm the only girl in two generations of my family and I know some of my family would like a girl. I'm not bothered so I'm making them wait!

Now I've told work I'm thinking I might add myself into the Facebook group as well.. is that still going?

We will be finding out the sex as already have 2 boys. But mainly because the the amount of comments I will get ‘bet your hoping for a girl’ will irritate me. So I want to know so I can shut them down!

I have my dating scan on Friday too but because I've already had a few due to the early complications I know I'll only be 11+1 on Friday. Think my EDD is 27th June so one of the late ones! I'll add myself after my scan on Friday ☺️

Just with regards to the harmony tests, do you have to get it privately or do they offer them? Sorry silly question I know but I'm new to this 😂 I don't know whether to have one, I'm 25 so don't know if I would be thought of as high risk for the factors the harmony test looks at? I do have a serious liver condition which requires a lot of monitoring and hospital stays so have already been told I will be consultant led as I'm going to have a 'high risk pregnancy' despite not having my booking in appointment yet. I also have to go to my specialist in London in January for all sorts of fun tests including cameras being shoved places I'd rather they didn't!

I also don't know if anyone will be able to answer this but I've been wondering about this and will ask my doctors but thought I'd ask here first. Due to previous surgeries from my liver condition, I have quite an impressive scar across my stomach that sort of pushes my stomach in where the scar is. I am wondering whether I will get some sort of odd kidney bean shaped bump or whether my scar will pop out in the same way belly buttons do? Anyone have any ideas?

I have a scar about 4 inches along from an operation. Under my belly button to the right and that was pushed out with my bump and I had a perfectly rounded bump still so hopefully yours will be the same..

@Bigonesmallone3 @MauisLeftNipple Also on number three and have one of each so getting the same comment - that it doesn't matter.

I was going to have a surprise but my two DC are convinced it's going to be a brother/sister respectively and it's getting quite competitive.

I'm worried that if they continue to get there hopes up until June one will be really really disappointed.

We can get a gender scan on the 22nd Dec. Then I was thinking I would get a box for Xmas and put a present for each in it (something they really want!), I’d then do a letter to them signed from their little brother or sister and get my mum to read it. Big surprise for everyone on Xmas day.

Thanks @Bigonesmallone3 ! That gives me hope. Not that it really matters if my bump is a weird shape but I suppose I have always liked the idea of having a nice round bump! I've never been embarrassed of my scar (I've had it most of my life) and most people I know know that I have B.A. so the kidney bean shape would be easily explained .. but I think I just like the idea of it popping out!

@Bigonesmallone3 We’re waiting much to my annoyance, I’d rather just know! But I don’t want to spoil it for my partner and I’m sure I’d let it slip if I found out

JBCG I'm having the Harmony test privately. It looks at free fetal DNA to determine risk of the common trisomy syndromes and is way more accurate than the standard NHS screening. I'm 38, it's my 4th and i want to know as early as possible if there is a problem. Some NHS trusts offer the Harmony if your screening test comes back as high risk. This would be instead of having an amino, which carries a1% risk if miscarriage. I believe my hospital offers the Harmony, however you have to pay privately.

I'm having a surprise if I can hold out! We found out with DS and it was brilliant knowing and getting excited for his arrival. But I think we'll only have two children and I'd love to experience both knowing and not knowing!

Curly I think I'll have an ELCS too (emcs with DS) so I think that's why I'm a bit blasé about my due date as I know I'll get an early due 'appointment' down the line!
