Joining you with EDD 3rd August! First baby for me. Was actively ttc but only started new job in September so now I'm feeling nervous about that. Thought ttc would take longer. I qualify for SMP though.

Congrats on your BFP!

dragonmummy17 · 26/11/2018 21:56

Hi SenoraSurf congratulations on your BFP and the new job too

Morning ladies and congratulations! Cautiously joining this one as I just got a bfp this morning. Due date is 11 August. DS is 15 months, wondering if we’re mad!!

LolaH2014 · 27/11/2018 18:31

Hi Guys,
I found out almost a week ago I'm expecting again! I must have had a shorter cycle than normal as this one was a surprise and a ahem one hit wonder as it were! We already have a 3 and a half year old and unfortunately lost 2 babies over the last year so need lots of baby dust and positive thoughts thrown my way! X

dragonmummy17 · 27/11/2018 19:35

peaches19 LolaH2014 congratulations on your BFP.
LolaH2014 sorry to hear of your losses I hope you have a sticky bean this time

I was surprised that I felt really nauseous today when I hadn't eaten anything for a few hours. I'm sure I was at least 6 weeks before that happened last time. Anyone else getting symptoms yet?

OP posts:
LolaH2014 · 27/11/2018 20:50

Thanks lovely! I'm so anxious. I have mild nausea/continuous hunger and sore boobs that come and go. That's what worries me the most is the fact they come and go so much. The minute they go im just waiting for blood :(

dragonmummy17 · 28/11/2018 20:34

@LolaH2014 that sounds very stressful... come and offload on here any time you need to

Hey ladies, I'm tentatively joining after our first round of IVF! I've been getting light positives since Monday and got a positive digital today! I'm only 4w1d but it's hard not to get excited after years waiting!

LolaH2014 · 29/11/2018 16:21

@WineWinner that's so exciting! Congratulations! Got my fingers crossed for you!

dragonmummy17 · 29/11/2018 20:14

Hi everyone. Cautiously joining too... I had my BFP on Monday, EDD is August 5th so I'm just over 4 weeks pregnant. We have a 17 month old who is both wonderful & absolutely bloody knackering.

I do find this early stage difficult tbh, I'm very happy but feel that I can't allow myself to get too excited yet. Roll on the 12 week all-clear! 🤞🤞🤞

Notanotherpawpatrol · 30/11/2018 13:00

Hi. I'm checking in. Totally shocked, this was 100% NOT planned and I'm freaking out a little. This will be baby number 5. FIVE!!! I am going to have FIVE children and I am so not ready. Added to that my mum keep s laughing and saying "you know it's going to be twins right" Hmm not funny.
I habe no idea when I'm due, but guessing it'll be August at some point? I'm off to go and find a calculator.
FIVE!!!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 30/11/2018 13:02

My children are currently dd1 8, dd2 6, ds 4 and dd3 19 months.
Did I mention this is going to be number 5?!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 30/11/2018 13:03

@winewinner congratulations!!! That's amazing news. Sending all the positivity your way xx

WineWinner · 30/11/2018 20:40

Thanks ladies! How are you all feeling? I'm hungry and tired but that's it. I know it's early but I almost want to feel sick just so I know this is real haha!

Cardi86 · 30/11/2018 23:39

Hi ladies, congrats to you all on your BFPs! I got my first ever BFP on the 23rd and I’m still in shock! We were TTC for 13 months and just had our final month of fertility drugs before moving on to IUI or IVF. I can’t believe I’m finally pregnant but also absolutely terrified! Having loads of symptoms, is anyone else?

WineWinner · 01/12/2018 07:54

Hey Cardi, congratulations, that's amazing news! My little IVF baby's being quite quiet so far although it's really early. I'm really tired and hungry but the other symptoms seem to have died down so I'm thinking that may have been more my meds. How are you feeling? What symptoms do you have? Xx

Notanotherpawpatrol · 01/12/2018 10:00

Cardi that's amazing new. Huge congratulations!

dragonmummy17 · 01/12/2018 13:14

Hi welcome to everyone new and congratulations on your BFPs
I'm definitely starting to feel more nauseous... it was just at night but has been all day so far today. Much earlier than last time...

OP posts:
Cardi86 · 01/12/2018 19:10

I normally get bloated at the start of my period but for the last ten days it’s been constant bloat no matter what I eat! Tender boobs too, nausea and very emotional- crying at Christmas ads 😀 I’ve actially convinced myself I’m having twins cause I got such an early BFP and am having so many symptoms. I’m probably totally off the mark though! @Winewinner have you ever had a BFP before? Was this your first round of IVF?

dragonmummy17 · 01/12/2018 20:11

Hi everyone there seems to be 2 August threads going. If you are interested, the other one is in the pregnancy section

OP posts:
WineWinner · 01/12/2018 22:36

Yes this was our first round of ivf and first ever pregnancy! A few people knew we were having the ivf so they are patiently waiting to find out the result. I'm really bloated too and my nipples had been really sensitive but they've been ok the last few days. I just want to eat and sleep!

TeeDe · 02/12/2018 06:08

Hi guys, hopefully joining you all.. Got a BFP on Friday :) was a complete shock, even though have been trying for a couple of years.. Had an ectopic last Feb, which resulted in the loss of 1 tube.. turned to IVF, got pregnant 1st round, but ended in missed miscarriage, then tried again, but 2nd & 3rd rounds didnt implant.. Had decided to take a break for the remainder of the year, so I could get drunk & have some fun after all Ive been through! Then somehow naturally I'm pregnant :) :)
Trying to not put all my hopes in this, but cant help it. I'm excited!
Great to hear everyones stories xx

WineWinner · 02/12/2018 17:15

@TeeDe amazing news! Congratulations! We've just done IVF and it's no easy thing so you must be amazing to have done it so many times and I'm so glad you fell naturally! How are you feeling?

Cardi86 · 02/12/2018 18:55

Wow congratulations @TeeDe that’s amazing news! I had actually planned on taking a break for December too so I could have some well needed nights out after all this TTC craziness, so happy I won’t be drinking after all ☺️
