How is everyone feeling?

I'm 15 weeks now and can feel an improvement in my energy levels during the day and not so nauseous anymore. Still having the urge to nap after work in the evening but at least I feel better than before

newrubylane · 29/10/2018 10:40

@Buttons28 - 14+2 today, and feeling exactly the same. Sleepy by late on but much easier to et through the day now, and the nausea has all gone. I'm feeling pretty good actually.

SPR1107 · 29/10/2018 11:45

First day back at work after two weeks bed rest, haven't been sick since yesterday so that's helped, but I'm ready for bed already.. I think it's going to take a few days to get back in to the swing of things!

16 + 3

AlbaGirl8 · 29/10/2018 12:41

16 + 3 and STILL nauseas, vomiting every few days! Still, it’s settled a lot since the early weeks and i definitely have more energy now on the good days. Starting to think I’m going to be one of the unlucky ones who’s got this all the way through 😕

jellybeann · 29/10/2018 13:19

17+6, still taking anti-sickness meds. Have cut down from 4 a day to 1-2 a day depending on how I feel, and so far so good! Definitely couldn’t be without them though, forgot to take one before bed one day last week and then was sick 3/4 times the next morning! But as long as I am taking them at least once a day I usually feel fine!

I’m with you all on feeling exhausted, by about 3pm I’m desperate for a nap!!

AlbaGirl8 · 29/10/2018 13:47

I feel your pain @jellybeann I’ve actaully misplaced my anti sickness meds (how can they vanish off the table in to thin air?!). Suffering without them! Hope it clears up for you soon x

Rosalind22 · 29/10/2018 16:34

Hello all! Hope everyone has had a good Monday!

Can I just ask a quick question...

Today on and off I have had a pain right at the bottom of my stomach like underneath my little bump, it doesn't feel like cramps it feels like a pulling and at times it gets quite intense. It hurts more when I walk as weird as that sounds, sitting seems to help. The best way I can describe is like a sharp pulling sensation.

I have no bleeding or anything like that... I am 14+4 has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you!!

Singlemummyto5 · 29/10/2018 16:45

@rosalind22 sounds like round ligament pain to me hun, I've had this on and off for a few weeks it's just everything stretching for baby to grow. Unless it's really intense or constant even after changing positions it's usually nothing to worry about. If your worried though speak to your midwife.
17+1

Rosalind22 · 29/10/2018 16:48

@Singlemummyto5 thank you! It does feel like stretching and definitely not cramps. It does also ease off when I sit down. I will see how I go this eve and if needed pop a call to midwife tomorrow!

Thank you for your response! Sorry easy to start worrying over these things!

Singlemummyto5 · 29/10/2018 16:52

Pregnancy can be a worrying time as well as an amazing experience, I'm on baby 5 and I still constantly panic about every little thing lol I'm here if you ever need to talk

SPR1107 · 29/10/2018 17:02

@Singlemummyto5 I'm obsessed with asking people who have had more than one child, if each child has been bigger than the last?

16 + 3

notasnowploughoratiger · 29/10/2018 17:30

Hello to all -

Just joining at 15 weeks today - due 22nd April -

@SPR1107 - my number 1 has been the biggest, with no.2 the smallest and 3 in-between...! So who knows with 4! But typically doctors tend to say next baby is bigger -

Singlemummyto5 · 29/10/2018 17:33

@spr1107 my first was one day over and 7.9 my second was one day early and 7.7 my third was 14 days over and 7.9 and my last was 6 days over and weighed 8 so not much difference and not significantly bigger lol x

Rosalind22 · 29/10/2018 17:35

Thanks @Singlemummyto5 I appreciate it! X

Singlemummyto5 · 29/10/2018 17:53

@rosalind22 anytime hun, by the time you get to baby 5 you have learnt a thing or two haha it's nice being able to chat to other people in a similar situation

SPR1107 · 29/10/2018 18:31

Both promising answers @Singlemummyto5 and @notasnowploughoratiger haha.
Obviously I don't mind, as long as it comes out healthy, but I find it interesting. There's 5 of us and we did get bigger each time, which resulted in me (no.5) being induced and bought on a month early weighing 7lbs 13oz

Treaclepie19 · 29/10/2018 19:11

Aaaah that's a bit scary.
My son was 17 days early and weight 6lb 15oz. If this one is on time, and bigger...

OP posts:
sodababy2 · 29/10/2018 19:26

My first was only 6lb 1oz and a week before due date but frankly I'm not sure I'd want anything much bigger coming out! Grin

SPR1107 · 29/10/2018 20:19

Mine was 8oz 3lb, four days early, back to back... luckily his weight was mostly due to how long he was! But yeah, I would like him to be the heaviest haha

Griffer · 29/10/2018 20:34

My midwife told me that there's no correlation between ease/length of labour /pain and the size of the baby. Unless it's really really big.
Maybe she was just trying to stop me worrying. I'm so big already and baby is kicking so strong even my partner can feel it. Convinced it's going to be huge!
17+5

SPR1107 · 29/10/2018 20:56

Feel the same @Griffer. I've been feeling this one since 11 weeks, and husband felt it at 12 (very unusually for any first time mums reading that who haven't felt kicks yet).

My sister said to me today, 'why is your face so gaunt but your belly soooo big'... in scared I'm giving birth to a toddler

SPR1107 · 29/10/2018 20:57

My spelling in that was terrible... but I'm hoping you got what I meant
