I'm so glad it was okay @MigMog
Are you okay otherwise?

italianwifey · 21/10/2018 19:53

Sorry to hear that @migmog hope you’re okay! @ashley992 and @donna474 glad I’m not the only one... every now and then I get what feels like my eye twitching low down in my belly, am not sure if this is first tiny movements but seems far too early to be feeling anything! Can’t wait until I can feel something though, it’s probably wishful thinking!!

italianwifey · 21/10/2018 19:54

Ps @newrubane sorry to hear you were sick, I hate being sick! The kopparberg sounds good though I might give that a go!

ashley992 · 21/10/2018 20:27

@italianwifey I know what you mean by the eye twitching movements! The books I have says it can be felt around now for slimmer women or mums not in their first pregnancy. I'm a first timer but I'm a size 8 so quite small. It's certainly a unique feeling and I can't think what else it could be.

Ohnonotanotherusername · 21/10/2018 20:36

@italianwifey I've definitely started feeling the baby move, it started about 10 days ago and felt a bit like a twitchy eyelid. I wasn't sure if I was kidding myself, but it's got stronger and now I'm certain that's what it is.

MigMog · 21/10/2018 21:00

@treaclepie19 thanks. Yes I'm fine. We went in as a precaution. It was an impact from the side, drivers side and I was passenger. No pain or bleeding so they wernt too concerned. Just anti d as a precaution.

This is the second time in 2 weeks. Last time someone hit us hard from behind. The OHs car is looking proper battered now. Both times the others fault. Today an older lady not used to the roads in her new car didn't stop at a give way.

Ohnonotanotherusername · 21/10/2018 21:18

Oh no @MigMog that's so unlucky. Glad you're all ok though.

Treaclepie19 · 21/10/2018 21:24

Gosh how awful, I'm glad you're okay though!

newrubylane · 21/10/2018 22:36

@Italianwifey it's not bad. Quite sweet, tastes a bit like pear drops. I've tried another small glass tonight. We'll see if I react again...

@migmog, I'm so glad you're ok. How scary!

Now I'm just jealous that you're all feeling movement... but I'm only week 13 so still a bit early for me yet.

italianwifey · 21/10/2018 22:58

@migmog that sounds stressful, twice in two weeks... hope you’re okay.
Oh so Maybe it is baby then? I hope so! @newrubylane I’m sure it will be soon, I think I started getting this around halfway trough week 14, although I know that it’s not uncommon for people not to feel anything until 20-22 weeks or so isn’t it? Can’t wait to get a proper big kick!

Buttons28 · 21/10/2018 22:59

Just rolling into week 14 for me. Also can't wait to feel movement, it's going to be the next positive sign that will put my mind at ease between the 12 week scan and 20 week scan.

Dare I say it but I have almost felt 'normal' this afternoon / evening 🤭

italianwifey · 22/10/2018 10:29

@treaclepie19 I feel like you mentioned it might have been your appt this morning? Sorry if I have got it wrong - good luck if it is though, thinking of you.

Treaclepie19 · 22/10/2018 10:37

@italianwifey thanks for thinking of me lovely. Its this afternoon... I've been up half the night coughing and with a sore throat. Just hoping they can actually do the amnio today as I've prepared myself for it.

Will be thinking of you @Treaclepie19

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 22/10/2018 10:47

Thinking of you @Treacle19 I have a consultants appointment this afternoon. not sure what to expect really. Good luck for today.

jellybeann · 22/10/2018 11:31

I definitely would not recommend moving house 3 days after coming out of hospital whilst 16 weeks pregnant and with an awful cold! I definitely need a relaxing couple of days this week 😴

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 22/10/2018 11:48

Oh @Jellybeann that’s tough! Yes feet up, nice cups and relax, new home?

purplestar9 · 22/10/2018 13:31

Hello, I was on the last thread but I hadn't posted in a while, I've been trying to keep up with you though!
I think it's crazy how some of you are 16 weeks and already starting to find out genders, I'm 13 weeks tomorrow but of course that's because my EDD is currently 30th April! I haven't even had my 12 week scan yet, I have it on Thursday :) I'm so looking forward to it!

italianwifey · 22/10/2018 15:29

Good luck @purplestar9 let us know how it goes! I feel like time is passing a bit quicker now I’ve had my 12 week scan.

Treaclepie19 · 22/10/2018 18:12

Good luck @purplestar9

How did you get on @SheRaTheAllPowerful?

That sounds stressful @jellybeann! Lots of rest now.

We had our appointment. They didn't do the amnio because my placenta is at the front and with it being so early it would've been really hard. Also everything else is looking fine. The legs measure fine, no fluid around baby, heart looks fine for now, the NT is reducing (though it would anyway)
She said the other thing they'd worry about with the NT is turners but it's looking like baby may be a boy so that rules that out if so.
We have another appointment in 3 weeks to do a heart scan and we can still decide to have the amnio if we want.

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 22/10/2018 18:50

That sounds positive @Treaclepie19 how are you feeling?

My appointment was fine going to have my cervix measured again at 20 weeks as I had early Labour in my last pregnancy. I was hoping I’d get an extra scan but no such luck :)

Ohnonotanotherusername · 22/10/2018 19:21

Glad to hear that everything is sounding pretty positive @Treaclepie19. Fingers crossed everything continues like this.

ashley992 · 22/10/2018 19:57

@Treaclepie19 That sounds promising. Hopefully things continue to get better from here for you xx

italianwifey · 22/10/2018 20:10

@treaclepie that sounds like brilliant news, I’m so glad that everything looks like it’s going well so far. Hopefully that takes some of the worry away a bit? Exciting that it looks like a little boy! Is anyone else finding out the sex or leaving it to surprise?

ashley992 · 22/10/2018 20:53

@italianwifey we are leaving it to be a surprise but all the olds wives tales so far suggest boy. We don't mind either way. How about you? X
