Yuk, out fecking neighbour downstairs always smokes out of his window (cigs and weed) and when we have our bedroom and living room windows it always comes in and stinks our flat out. Tosser!

I would take one in the morning and one at night Bumper. 8 hours apart.

If I hit 41 weeks I plan to take one 200c a day.

Daisy, I'll ask my friend what she used.
Belis Perennis 200c is "to heal damage to deep tissue after forceps or caesarean". And also Hypercium 30c to heal any after-effects of epidural, episiotomy, forceps or caesarean.

I'm not a convert to homoeopatic rememdies, just prepared to try anything. Annobal has a lot more knowledge and visits an practitioner.

(That info was from my Little Birth Kit - which I got from Little Birth Kit Co. BTW)

daisyboo · 16/06/2007 17:02

those two are on my list Foxy...as is chincona officianallis and ferrium phosphoricum...but not sure where to get them here in Leeds.

Can't take hypericum.....isn't that St John's wort. Its a no-no where BF is concerned I think

BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

Received a text from TallulahBelle's phone at 3.51pm:
Hello Kitty, Just letting you know tallulahbelle has given birth to a beautiful baby girl on Sat 16th of June weighing 6 pounds & 14 ounces. Mum & baby are doing great. We have named her Eilidh.

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS, TALLULAH!!!
Can't wait to see the pics - love the name!

daisyboo · 16/06/2007 17:07

I've just laid em on the changing mat on the floor and she has managed to roll herself over on to her side then throw her legs back over and roll to face the other direction. Are they supposed to do that at this age??????

daisyboo · 16/06/2007 17:12

Great News....Congratulations Tallulahbelle and welcome to Eilidh....lovely name

doggus · 16/06/2007 17:14

Yay, well done Tallulah! I love the name (but how do you say it?). Is it Irish for Eileen?

And many congrats to Clare74 too.

TA - I am competing with you for the most dull Saturday ever - 1pm, got up. 2-4pm, trip to Waitrose, 5pm - back to bed. Dh didn't sleep last night so I am keeping him company while he naps.

daisyboo · 16/06/2007 17:20

it's pronounced like A-lay...with a long sounding A

bumperlicious · 16/06/2007 17:26

Ah, congrats tallulahbelle! What a lovely name! Look forward to hearing all the details soon!

Congrats Tallulah!!

Such good news, esp after all the hassles over the last few days.

Over the moon, and a lovely name, quite ethereal

daisyboo · 16/06/2007 17:37

that'a an appropriate comment TA...i think it means "light"

trendaverter · 16/06/2007 17:39

Doggus, I am with you. DH is ill - he is run down from the stress of worrying about me, apparently. WTF? I am not stressed, why is he?

Bumper I know what you mean about your mum (well to an extent), my sis keeps texting me constantly, calling me 3 times a day, saying 'news?', 'any news?', ARGH

All it does is serve to remind me that my life is nothing but waiting.
I exploded at her tonight and said I feel like a farkin watched kettle

justbeme · 16/06/2007 17:50

back again -
Congratulations Clare and Tallulahbelle!!
Well, I got up at 0500 for the loo half expecting a text from your other half TA!! Never mind, patience is a virtue and all that (go on throw something at me!!)

Had the dogs hair cut today - he looks sweet and I ve put a bandana collar on him (green camoflague!!)

Ive felt abit ill all day - and had niggly pains down low - could that be the thrush do you think? (I havent got "full on thrush" but i know that im sore down there.. and feel abit sicky...

trendaverter · 16/06/2007 17:57

JBM thrush is not really a niggly pain as such, can sting a bit when you pee and can be v v v itchy but the niggly pains are probably just signs of things happening. Probably.

At least I have thrush at - AGAIN - and it's not a niggly pain as such.

I found a good baby name site while looking up Eilidh if anyone is interested, it shows all the historic popularity data etc

foxybrown · 16/06/2007 18:02

Oh my! Tullulahbelle - you've had your baby! Congratulations! Can't wait to hear what happened. Fantastic news xxxx

justbeme · 16/06/2007 18:03

D'Yknow - Ive got a sort of "list" with so so names on it, but I really cant be bothered to choose one - that sounds terrible doesnt it?? I think I just wanna wait till after the birth.

trendaverter · 16/06/2007 18:06

Sounds normal to me
I think I however am just a bored anal control freak that has nothing better to do than name search

Plus also I have a big pisstaking family and have to take that into consideration, ie, need to choose carefully otherwise poor mite will never live it down.

foxybrown · 16/06/2007 18:06

sounds about right to me! I'm hoping one will jump off the page and suit her.

justbeme · 16/06/2007 18:09

Oh good - I thought i was turning into a manic depressive!! Ive found it really hard to be happy today. Am only 38 weeks but feel really fed up with all this .....
got my friends 40th to go to in an hour - so I suppose I'd better go and get washed etc.

When I was asleep this afternnon - my DD made the cot up and put the cot mobile up/bumper etc!! she's so excited!!

foxybrown · 16/06/2007 18:17

That's lovely of her!

Isn't it a bit weird when the baby has a bed? makes it all a bit real. Like there's going to be a real little person sleeping in it or something?

justbeme · 16/06/2007 18:19

I know . I was thinking, I really must try out folding the pram/putting the sling on/reading the breast pump instructions etc etc

What have you got planned for tonight then Foxy?? Serious chocolate overload?

daisyboo · 16/06/2007 18:20

switch your phone off TA after letting them all know they will be informed as soon as practicable.

It's always worse with first babies.

foxybrown · 16/06/2007 18:32

I think its pasta and salad for dinner, with a beer. Magazines, might do my hair and nails - but I might save that for tomorrow.

Yawn! Just told DP he can spend the week there if he likes!

Am off to wrap up the children's presents from the new baby - Mystic Red, Mystic Green and Mystic Pink dressing up!

doggus · 16/06/2007 18:32

Justbeme - we have a short (long) list with names and we are going to stare at the baby when h/she arrives until a name jumps out. I have told dh he only has 24 hours to do it (he is a procrastinator). One of his friends took six weeks to make up his mind and only just registered it in time.
