Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

@HabbyHadno I had mine two years ago, been googling like mad about it the past week but thankfully everything online seems to be positive about it! I just want to make sure the midwives will be aware, and I’m sure it shouldn’t cause any probs.

Well I’m still mega bloated and the outfit I bought for my SILs wedding next weekend just makes it look worse! So looks like I need a new outfit now
I’ve cracked and got my maternity jeans out tonight, they’re so comfy compared to my normal jeans!

@Littlemissamy seems ridiculous doesn't it regarding the jeans but I totally agree... my jeans are so so tight I can't even bare the thought of putting them on... I'm hoping the bloating goes down because I'd really like to wear them again before my belly is too big! 🙄

I've been having gentle cramping occasionally throughout the day and have been ravenous. So hungry!! Had around 5 meals today, all after 11.30am. Nausea was strong before then.

Anyone else found their sex drive has jumped up a gear? Before this I was a bit blah, but now I feel like a semi-randy teenager. I think DHs circumcision may also have something to do with it, along with a low lying cervix making it all a bit new and exciting!

I'm not feeling too much bloat, but I am struggling with boobs. Went out and bought a bralette thingy from Primark and Marks and Sparks, they seem comfy enough.

Is it normal to have the positive result show up before the control window on a pregnancy test? It's done it on all the tests I've done, I thought usually the control window shows up first then the result but my results have been showing up immediately before the other one

@hopefulbabydust123 yeah totally normal when there is quite a lot of HCG in your urine it's just detecting it right away...

Yes @hopefulbabydust123 my positive came up before the control.

@SassehMonsta me and DH have only DTD once since we found out, and I got such bad cramps afterwards that it made me nervous 😕 and I presume the cramps are normal?! But probably won't be overdoing it just in case!

@mussie we literally just 'did it'😂 Sorry TMI... but if I remember rightly from my previous pregnancy it always felt a bit more uncomfortable than usual. Sex will, in no way harm the baby. So don't worry.

Sadly I am having red bleeding this morning. Called out of hours and told to rest and call my own doctor at 8am. Keep your fingers crossed for me xx

@BLM18 so sorry to hear that, keeping my fingers crossed. Last pregnancy I bled at around 5 weeks, and then on and off throughout. However he is a now 14 month year old so keep hope xx
