June 2019 - The Early Birds

SassehMonsta · 19/09/2018 16:22

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

Hi everyone

I’m 5+3 today so due very end of May, feel like this group fits more with where I am than the May group.

No real symptoms yet other than tiredness. I’ve booked a private scan for 8+5 just for reassurance for 21st Oct

Only told my parents, was bridesmaid yesterday but think I just about managed to get away with no drinking! Appletizer luckily nearly looks like prosecco!

Chocomalt · 30/09/2018 14:11

Hello all and congratulations.

Tentatively joining, a bit wary as I have had a previous early loss before my DS, and I am very early, just had a Bfp, estimated due date 12th June.

I have a one year old (well 14 months to be exact!). However after not having the courage to join a group last time I think it would be great to have the support of a group this time if it works out. Great to see such a friendly group!🙂

pollykins151 · 30/09/2018 14:20

Hi to all the new joiners 👋🏻

Beautifulblue · 30/09/2018 14:26

Hi @Chocomalt I also have a 14 month old Smile I'm a bit nervous about the small gap & a little guilty on my eldest! Are you feeling that? I'm also not on fb... shame if we lose a lot of you but understand fb is easier to communicate than this!

rollerskaterdata · 30/09/2018 14:36

@Beautifulblue @Kescilly glad to see I'm not the only one not on Facebook! I thought I was an oddity 🤣 we can keep each other company!

LadyM0ndegreen · 30/09/2018 14:52

@Beautifulblue @Chocomalt Know what you mean about the small gap, I have an 8mo so it means there will only be a 16 month gap between them.

Had my first craving today. Hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Beautifulblue · 30/09/2018 15:03

Wow @LadyM0ndegreen that is a small gap! How you feeling about it?

mrsmj · 30/09/2018 15:23

Hi can I join too please??
Had my BFP this morning SmileFeeling very nervous as I've had 2 MC Since we starting trying in February . I'm hoping this is 3rd time lucky Smile
This will be #2, my DC is 8, so can't remember much from last time! Grin According to my app I'm 4 +3 and EDD is 4th of June Grin

Kescilly · 30/09/2018 17:11

Hi to all the newbies and congrats! Glad I’m not the only one off FB. I do worry about missing out but I really hate using it.

Re: small gaps, my siblings and I were really close in age growing up and we loved it (most of the time). Probably wasn’t easy on our parents though!

HabbyHadno · 30/09/2018 17:18

Hello! Congrats everyone. I had a faint BFP this morning, this will be our third baby so I'm shitting myself about breaking it to DH. I've got two boys, 4 and 1. Eep!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 30/09/2018 17:20

Hi everyone and all newbies!

How is everyone feeling symptom wise? I have sore boobs and lots of lower cramping and achiness. Pretty knackered too but think may be more the result of the 4 and 2yo 🙈

MadeInCornwallx3 · 30/09/2018 17:21

@happyhadno Congrats!

I am also having number three! Terrified!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 30/09/2018 17:22

Sorry @HabbyHadno !

HabbyHadno · 30/09/2018 17:24

Hi @madeincornwall. Yeah, two was ok but three is a different ballgame isn't it? My one year old is a demon too, he climbs on everything and is mega-grumpy! I keep wondering how on Earth I'll cope 🙈

Kescilly · 30/09/2018 17:25

I had really sore breasts but that’s been disappearing which of course makes me nervous. Not quite nauseous, but not quite myself. Cramping too, which is another thing making me nervous since I had spotting right at the beginning.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 30/09/2018 17:28

@HabbyHadno Definitely three is scary! I don't even think I'll get them all in the car! Lots to consider.

DH is so excited it's crazy - easy for him though haha

pollykins151 · 30/09/2018 17:39

Glad to hear several of you saying two was ok and small gaps ok 😂 will be about a 20 month gap between these two. And I'm struggling to get my head around how you find time for more than one. So you guys that are expecting #3 hats off to you!!

PurrMaid · 30/09/2018 17:42

Hi everyone, and welcome and congrats to the newbies getting their BFP!
I’ve slept away most of the weekend, can’t believe how tired I am, don’t know how I’ll manage a full week at work without an afternoon nap!
Have my doctors appointment tomorrow, not expecting much from it, but have a few questions as I know I have a fibroid and have also had the LLETZ treatment on my cervix for abnormal cells. Do doctors even take blood tests to confirm you are pregnant?!
I would love to join the FB group, will send a message over tonight 😁

stellarfox · 30/09/2018 17:48

I have cramping (feels like I’m about to come on my period) and sore boobs. The cramping seems to be worse at night whilst I am lying on my side but I don’t know if it’s more because I’m thinking about it then!

@Purrmaid I booked a doctors appointment assuming they would want to do a pregnancy test but no!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 30/09/2018 17:48

How do I send my email via DM?

Chocomalt · 30/09/2018 17:58

@beautifulblue @LadyM0ndegreen a small age gap will definitely be hard to manage, and I do wonder how bedtimes would go.. but I'm also of the opinion just do it and get through the tougher parts and hopefully 🤞🏻 it means that with a close age gap they can play well together later on @kescilly sounds like that worked well in your family
@pollykins sounds like you are similar with the short gap then!
@MadeInCornwall no real symptoms at all for me so far (apart from a bit of early insomnia), I didn't really get any symptoms in my last pregnancy either, apart from the early chronic tiredness, so I'll need to remind myself that when I overthink it! But maybe this one will be different..!
I hope everyone else isn't feeling too bad with the symptoms so far. I do remember my immune system was rubbish and it seemed that I caught every bug going...

Beautifulblue · 30/09/2018 18:04

My 1 & only symptom is dreaming! Mad dreams. Same thing with my first pregnancy... odd, odd dreams 😂 Honestly hearing some of you are on #3 makes me feel a bit better about #2 & a small age gap... sorry BlushGrin

HabbyHadno · 30/09/2018 18:17

@purrmaid I had a LLETZ treatment at the beginning of the year so I need to ask about that when I see the midwife. I'm going to have to wait a bit as technically my period isn't even late yet. I'm due on this Thursday, but I've been testing for the past three days cause I kind of knew!

Mrsssmith11 · 30/09/2018 19:17

Hi everyone. I got my bfp yesterday, I'm 4+2. This one will be a rainbow baby for us. Already have a 4 yo daughter. She was 4 in june. I'm 38 so probably classed as an old mum. I'm in Scotland.

Excited to be here.

Mrsssmith11 · 30/09/2018 19:40

I think I'm due 7th June. My birthday is 11th and dd is 21st. Obviously September is a busy month for us Wink
