June 2019 - The Early Birds

999 replies

SassehMonsta · 19/09/2018 16:22

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

Hi. Please can I join? I’m 4+4, due 6th June. I’m 29 years old and have a 16 month old as well. Looking forward to getting to know you all Smile

Kescilly · 01/10/2018 11:21

Sending positive thoughts your way, @BLM18.

@BLM18 Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

pollykins151 · 01/10/2018 12:10

@BLM18 any news? Thinking of you! I had all sorts of bleeding last time including bright red and all was well in the end.

CatRen27 · 01/10/2018 12:14

Good luck BLM, really hope everything is good as gold

ButtonTum · 01/10/2018 13:30

Hi all
Can I join?
I'm 4+1 with second baby, I have a 19 month old DS. I'm 36, and we managed to get pregnant in the first month of trying this time so I consider myself truly #blessed (while appreciating this is mega early days).
Am experiencing a weird symptom I didn't get last time - intense thirst - anyone else? I'll read up on the thread but am excited to join this bus trip with you all!

BLM18 · 01/10/2018 13:36

Epu was so busy they over ran and now staff can’t do any more scans for h n a reason! Sent away but have appointment at 3pm for scan. I’m not feeling hopeful as blood very red x

RC000 · 01/10/2018 13:50

@BLM18 how frustrating. Thank goodness they can scan you later. Thinking of you x

fee1234 · 01/10/2018 14:46

Keeping you in my thoughts @BLM18 xx

Beautifulblue · 01/10/2018 17:28

So I took another digital today, it's still saying 2-3 weeks. I'm 5 weeks 1 day by LMP so thought I would get a 3+ now. Is this ok you think? Second guessing now thinking my HCG is going down! Sad

fee1234 · 01/10/2018 17:32

@Beautifulblue I did the exact same thing this morning and still got 2-3. I wouldn't worry, looked the thresholds up online and the digi 3+ has quite a high one. Try again in a few days? I'm going to!

Just been to docs - I've got a painful UTI so been prescribed an antibiotic. Said it's safe to take in pregnancy.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 01/10/2018 17:40

@Beautifulblue I think just leave it a few days honey! Remember the 2-3 weeks is since conception and if you make yourself 5+1 by LMP these no guarantee when you actually ovulated/conceived.

You're definitely borderline anyway and like was said the threshold is high! Did you test in the afternoon? That would dilute it too. X

stellarfox · 01/10/2018 17:51

I accidentally ate a salad with goats cheese in it 😣 Then Googled it afterwards and we can’t have it! Argh! It wasn’t a massive amount so I hope it’s ok! I’m now reading everything you cannot eat to make sure I don’t make another mistake!

Beautifulblue · 01/10/2018 17:55

@fee1234
@MadeInCornwallx3
Thank you both you've made me feel better! I do think I would only be borderline 3+ Anyway m like you said & it was late anfternoon urine! Will test in a few days with FMU! Thanks ladies for your hasty responses Smile
Hope everything is ok with you @BLM18 x

Beautifulblue · 01/10/2018 17:56

@stellarfox don't worry too much about it! I ate a whole tub of Camembert when I was pregnant with my 1st (not greedy at all) before I realised I couldn't eat it. All was well!

Azure83 · 01/10/2018 18:07

I may have eaten some brie today.. I bought it before I got bfp and well, shame to waste it! Oh, and I've had a slightly undercooked steak on the weekend.. I wouldn't worry too much, this early the placenta is only jist forming so the nutrients still come from the sack (but someone correct me if I'm wrong)

stellarfox · 01/10/2018 18:15

Thanks both! I was wondering about that Azure83 as I'm sure I have heard something similar before. I hadn't realised you need to be careful about soft boiled eggs either as I had them at the weekend!

pollykins151 · 01/10/2018 18:34

@stellarfox you're ok with soft boiled eggs as long as they're red lion stamped. It's a revelation!!!!

RC000 · 01/10/2018 18:47

Also lots (most!) of supermarket soft cheese is actually pasteurized so totally fine! Check label x

Stormwhale · 01/10/2018 18:52

@BLM18 - I hope you are ok.

I am so bloated today I look about 4 months gone. I'm starting to worry how I'm going to keep this a secret. I can't fit in any of my normal jeans and my leggings are digging into the bloat.
