Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

I'm 4+6 today, having an early scan at 7 weeks so two weeks tomorrow! It's been a week since my first BFP and it's been the longest week of my life. Time is going sooo slowly

@Stormwhale I am with you! I'm definitely going to get one at 8 weeks as I'm driving myself to distraction trying not to worry if everything is ok. Trying to keep positive but I am anxious. I do not think I was this nervous with DD... 🤷‍♀️

Hope everyone's feeling good today, my boobs are. Feeling bruised but that's about all!
This is my first pregnancy, still feeling anxious and keep pressing my boobs to make sure they still hurt 😂😂

I'm interested in a FB group @LadyM0ndegreen but just a bit nervous yet, maybe next week :)

I think we've decided to get an early scan around 9 weeks, just after we get back from holiday, they are £79 around here too, although I've only looked at one place. Has anyone been to a 'window to the womb' before? They have them dotted around the country

Hi ladies. I am def interested in a fb group. If someone can remind me how to direct message I will do so with my email 😂 I find it so much easier than on here. And for my last bubs we are still all good friends and chat on there daily.

I am going to try and not get an early scan. We'll see. I'm trying not to be as anxious as I was last time. I had 2 (or3 I can't remember) last time and it did ease my mind so I'd highly recommend if you're anxious.

Similar to last time I am having some really light bleeding. Trying not to let it worry me and just go with it. I went and had the tests to check my hcg levels last time. All was fine so trying to have faith it is just my weird body! 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, no early scan here - I just can't justify the money because I know there isn't much to see. Totally understand why people would want to for peace of mind though! But I think having a 1yo will keep me busy/pre occupied until the 12 week scan 🤣 One thing I am super impatient about though, is finding out the gender! Of course I don't care, as long as the baby is healthy! But the fact the sex is determined straight away but you can't find out for 16 weeks is pure torture! 😁

@Beautifulblue yes same here about gender. I honestly don't mind what we have but practically another girl would be easier as we have so much girl stuff and they can share a room etc.

A boy would be lovely. Then we would have to get rid of our office and make it into a nursery.

We have a boys name sorted though and absolutely no clue about a girls name

OP do you think it might be worth doing a roll call? Just a wee list so we can get an idea of who is on here and keep track 😊 x

@pollykins151 how many weeks was it that you had your previous early scans? Just want to get an idea of when you would definitely see a heartbeat :)

@RanchoRelaxo I had one somewhere between 6-7 weeks one about 8 and I think one at 10 weeks.

10 weeks defo got a good heartbeat!!

6 weeks just a little blob but they showed me a flashing light that was the heartbeat or something. Nothing audible though.

This is my 2nd DC - DS has just turned 2. I genuinely don't mind whether we have a boy or a girl - if it's a boy then at least I won't have to buy too many new clothes, but on the other hand having one of each would be lovely!

Also up for a secret Facebook group. I'm on the May ish one already but a June one would be nice -everyone on May ish is a lot further along!!

I'm having a scan at around 8 weeks. Arranged for my sister to have DD (3) when she comes up from Reading and then will tell them both at the same time by getting a "Big sister" top for DD, all being well.

I've had two days of sore lower back (same as with ds1), reassuring I guess.

I'm up for a fb group! We have one for Dec 2016 babies and it's been lovely! I would say though that the group formed once everyone's been on mn for a while. My edd is the 9th of June so there are lots more people to join on here and I think once we migrate to fb this thread will stop being very active. Personally, I don't have the time to be active on both 😂

@SockQueen we're the same, DS is 21m. Don't mind what's next, a boy would be easier in some ways but genuinely don't mind.

So this happened today.

I wish I hadn’t found out so early now too as agree time is going soo slowly. I’ve just been feeling a bit crampy so I’m quite anxious about it all. I hadn’t thought of an early scan but I might do that if it will make me less anxious!

A Facebook group would be great but would definitely have to be secret and maybe an obscure name to just be on the safe side 😆

Yay! @pemb hope that's reassuring for you how far along are you? I believe you're one day ahead of me? So 5+1 today? I'm 5 weeks today... will be using my last digi next week sometime.

@pemb ooh I love a 3+! I got 1-2 on Friday so am resisting doing it again for a week, though will probably still do some internet cheapy tests in the interim to (hopefully) see the line getting darker.

I keep taking Internet cheapies too. Got a 2-3 weeks on thurs so gonna wait til endnof next week and hopefully see a nice 3+.

Thanks for the reassurances ladies. I did have some bleeding the day after my BFP so I’ve been nervous since then.

Unfortunately I’m not on FB so this might be the last I see of you! I’d make a fake account but these days they ask for your phone number and then everyone you know sees that you’re on there so there’s no chance of hiding.
