June 2019 - The Early Birds

SassehMonsta · 19/09/2018 16:22

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

@tron84 another Londoner here although we probably all live hours away from each other ;)

Iswallowtoothpaste · 15/10/2018 08:05

Oh great! Sickness bug here. Diarrhoea, gurgling stomach etc. Have been sick but lucky it was only bile so not quite as unpleasant as actual vomit.

Not entirely sure whether me being sick is just morning sickness and the diarrhoea is just something I ate. Have been busy with the bleach already and the smell is making me gag!

Tryingtoswallow101 · 15/10/2018 08:27

Morning all. How is everyone getting on?

ISwallow I’ve had diarrhoea too. Seems to have settled now.

Still no symptoms, which I’m finding is making me feel uneasy - I wish I had x-ray eyes to see what’s going on Grin

I’ve booked my early scan for the 27th so that’s my next marker to make it to.

toasterstrudle · 15/10/2018 08:30

Aw no @Iswallowtoothpaste - that's rotten for you! I'd give your GP or midwife unit a call for advice - probably just try and keep fluids down etc but I've no idea. Hope it passes soon.

I can't stop fixating on dates today, just want the next 7 weeks to rush by without any issues but I know there's nothing I can do about that. I'm off work this week so that doesn't help - need the distraction! It was the 12 week scan when we realised the mmc so I'm just so paranoid about that date already. Need to plan lots to keep busy over the next few months!

I've no symptoms at all yet but didn't until around 6 weeks in all the pregnancies. I'm only 4+6.

toasterstrudle · 15/10/2018 08:31

@Tryingtoswallow101 - cross post with the no symptoms! How many weeks will you be for your early scan?

MadeInCornwallx3 · 15/10/2018 08:37

Anyone else struggling majorly with exhaustion?

I'm really struggling to function. I feel like there's nothing in the tank and all I want to do is lie down and sleep 😩.

Tryingtoswallow101 · 15/10/2018 08:40

Toastersteudle I will be 7+5. Not sure what I will see/hear but hope it’s something.

I had an early miscarriage last year so I’m really just trying to take this as one day at a time.

I’ve got a huge holiday booked for November - which will be around 12 weeks but I’m not even bothered about it anymore Grin in fact I’ve just started to think of the holiday as - well I will be past the 12 week stage when I return.

It’s a good idea to keep busy. DH & I haven’t got a free weekend until Christmas now!

Bitofeverything · 15/10/2018 09:36

Hello - can I join? I think I’m due 11 June so just under six weeks. Been trying for over a year, and can’t believe it. Feeling a bit tired and odd taste in mouth./

Napssavelives · 15/10/2018 09:43

Has anyone had the flu vaccine yet? I’m a bit anxious getting it this early in pregnancy

Kescilly · 15/10/2018 09:52

Morning all, and welcome to our newbies!

I’m 6+6 today according to LMP and still don’t have much nausea. Our early scan is on the 24th and feels like an eternity away. I do feel exhausted, but I’ve also not been sleeping well so it could just be that.

@Napssavelives my husband and I had our flu vaccines before I got pregnant, but otherwise I’d have gotten one now. I don’t think there’s anything to worry about and it’s recommended for pregnant women at any stage of their pregnancy.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 15/10/2018 09:57

@Bitofeverything I had the vaccine last week as my toddler was booked in anyway.

It's not a live vaccine and they say getting flu is not a good thing at all!

I had no side effects at all. X

Blondcat · 15/10/2018 10:02

@napssaveslives I had mine on Friday @ 4+2 apart from a slightly sore arm for a day nothing much else. I was told it takes 2-3 weeks for full coverage so best to get ASAP and no problem at any stage in pregnancy.

fee1234 · 15/10/2018 10:09

I think I am 6+4 today going by my recalculated dates, and I have a scan later this afternoon. Fingers crossed we will be able to see something positive! So nervous for it

toomanyflatwhites · 15/10/2018 10:12

Re exhaustion - not sure if mine is pregnancy related (am only 4+6) or because DD is getting a back tooth through and subsequently hasn't slept since I got my BFP 😩 but today I am feeling absolutely wiped out and positively MURDEROUS!! I know I was really angry in the first trimester last time (mostly with DP, haha!) so again I'm not sure if this is hormonal or just related to having not slept.
Otherwise apart from the odd feeling of nausea/boob twinge no obvious symptoms...

poppyseed2 · 15/10/2018 10:20

Hi there, another newcomer to the group! I'm 4+1, anxiously waiting for an early scan at 6 weeks, after an ectopic earlier in the year, to confirm that everything is ok. Had a terrible pregnancy from the start with DD (18 months) but while I've had some reassuring symptoms over the last week it hasn't been too bad so far, fingers crossed it stays that way!

Kescilly · 15/10/2018 10:51

I take it all back, definitely feeling nauseous. Best tips to cope?

Torsz · 15/10/2018 10:56

@fee1234 good luck! I hope it goes well and you enjoy seeing your little one for the first time ☺️

@Kescilly ginger biscuits and sickness wrist bands are working for me!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 15/10/2018 11:44

Well I can’t keep anything down. I’ve been sipping water every now and again but keep bringing it back up Sad

I can’t think where I’ve been to get a bug. I’ve stayed at home all weekend. Hope this isn’t just my life for the next 7-8 weeks!!!

Skee · 15/10/2018 13:23

Hi!

Tentatively taking a seat if there’s still space Smile

A (very welcome) surprise positive test taken yesterday, after my period was 4 days late.

We were only able to dtd once this month and it was a week past predicted ovulation, so just assumed this month was out Shock

So this will be DC2 (DC1 was a June17 baby!)
Cycle2
I’m 35
And according to lmp I’m 4+5 (expect I’m probably closer to 4w though?) x x

MadeInCornwallx3 · 15/10/2018 13:34

Welcome @Skee ! Congratulations on the positive test!

Oooh @fee1234 good luck - do let us know how it goes.

Stormwhale · 15/10/2018 14:08

Hiya to the newbies.

I'm 6+6, and I am so flipping hungry. I want to eat everything. I'm trying to control it because I don't want to balloon I'm weight, but damn I want ALL THE FOOD. Blush

Grainedesesame · 15/10/2018 14:17

Hello and congratulation all!

I am due 19th June and 4+6 today.

I struggle to cope with excitement and I am actually very surprised with myself. It has been hard to barely focus on anything else since I've got a BFP. I'm in London, turning 35 next month and this is our first baby.

How do you deal with the excitement? Strange question to ask :)

summer28 · 15/10/2018 14:22

Hi ladies, I'd like to join too please? I got my BFP on Friday night, and I think I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. Really excited but a bit nervous too, I'm 31 and this will be my first baby xx

summer28 · 15/10/2018 14:23

Also, I'll be due 18th June 2019. X

DinoMamasaurus · 15/10/2018 14:23

Hi!

Can I join in please? 6+1 and feeling utterly grim but very happy to pregnant. EDD 9th June 2019.

The MS has kicked in earlier and harder than with my first. Time seems to be going very slowly at the moment...
