June 2019 - The Early Birds

999 replies

SassehMonsta · 19/09/2018 16:22

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

So I have provisionally booked a scan for tomorrow when will be 6+5.

Mainly as in the last hour I have had a major meltdown as the (light) bleeding continues. (For about a week now) Sorry for TMI but not heavy only when I wipe but is anything from brown to red.

As I've said before I had this in my last pregnancy and all was fine but I'm constantly second guessing myself as to whether this time it's more. And did I have these (mild) cramps last time.

But I know they won't be able to see much and may not be able to see the heartbeat yet so I don't know if going tomorrow is going to just make my anxiety worse. So trying to decide whether to confirm the booking or wait another week or so (and potentially go to EPU next week)

🤷🏻‍♀️😭

fee1234 · 12/10/2018 17:01

@pollykins151 good luck hope it all goes well.

I'm still having really mild cramps on and off, and I've recently been told I have a tilted womb so I wonder if it's anything to do with that. Anyone else have a tilted womb?

Kimbishop86 · 12/10/2018 17:07

I’m super bloated, well I say bloated, but maybe I’ve just put on weight cos I’ve eaten too much! I’m
Sure I didn’t get this last time, I didn’t really put in weight until at least 3-4 months! ANyone else the same?

RC000 · 12/10/2018 17:14

@sassehMonsta hope you are okay that sounds grim.

@pollykins good luck at scan.

Very bloated here too!

Stormwhale · 12/10/2018 17:18

Joining the bloated crew. I had to put a huge jumper on today, with a tight tank top underneath to hold my jeans up as I can't do them up. I have given in and ordered some maternity jeans from Dorothy Perkins which have an adjustable waist. Apparently they should fit for the whole pregnancy. They have a sale on at the minute if anyone fancied a look. The jeans I have gone for are the "forever fit" ones. They were £16 a pair.

Tryingtoswallow101 · 12/10/2018 17:18

fee123 I have a tilted uterus. Also have mild cramps on and off - like just before period kind of cramps.

I’m just trying to see it as something must be happening in there 🤷🏼‍♀️

Holly257 · 12/10/2018 17:23

Jumping on the bloated bus haha I'm 4 weeks today (according to last AF) I've also got really sore boobs and started with a bit of sickness this afternoon also been extremely tired this is DC3 but pregnancy 4 last one ended in MMC at 7 weeks so I'm very worried it's going to happen again Confused hoping the cramping I'm getting is a good sign!! X

OrcinusOrca · 12/10/2018 17:29

I feel like a champion knicker watcher right now, luckily apart from the tiniest bit of spotting first thing this morning I've had absolutely nothing else. Hoping it stays that way, finding this so hard, am only 4 and a bit weeks, how everyone do women do this?!

Thank you @Kescilly that's reassuring.

Oh @SassehMonsta I hope you are bearing up ok!

@pollykins151 don't blame you, I had a teeny panic this morning and I was a wreck. It's the uncertainty isn't it? Hope it goes well if you decide to go along.

@fee1234 @Tryingtoswallow101 I am in the tilted uterus club too! Maybe that is why...I've got mild cramps practically constantly. Hoping I'm just a delicate flower.

LivingOnAPear · 12/10/2018 17:31

@SassehMonsta
Hope you feel better soon. That sucks. Do you know how long you will be there?

@Pollykins151 all the best for tomorrow’s scan.

@kimbishop86 I’m sooo bloated and can’t stop eating beige food so don’t think that is helping. Feel huge already.

rollerskaterdata · 12/10/2018 17:43

I've also got a tilted uterus! Glad I'm not the only one, I've never met anyone with one before!

@Stormwhale thanks for the recommendation, I desperately need a pair! I'm so bloated it's ridiculous.

@SassehMonsta I hope you get to go home soon, HG is bloody awful

@pollykins151 all the best for your scan tomorrow if you decide to go. I had a scan yesterday at 6+2 and they could see baby and a heartbeat so there's a good chance they could see one for you too x

@SilverSister welcome and congratulations!

hexagon01 · 12/10/2018 19:29

Bloated yes AND HEARTBURN. Which I’m furious about, I expect it at the end but not now Sad

CollyWombles · 12/10/2018 22:20

A tilted uterus is fairly common, I've got one too! It can mean it might take slightly longer to feel baby move, other than that, its not an issue.

Kescilly · 12/10/2018 22:37

@pollykins151 I’ll be thinking of you! Wishing you good luck at the scan tomorrow.

@SassehMonsta I hope that you’re feeling better now, that sounds so miserable.

TakingtheLeap · 13/10/2018 04:11

Hello! Can I join you fine ladies? Smile

I'm 4+2, AF late on Wednesday, did a test on Thursday and just couldn't believe it at first - it sounds daft but after eight months of trying I'd kind of convinced myself it was never going to happen! Have got a horrid cold right now so it's hard to tell what's a pregnancy symptom or a cold symptom in terms of tiredness, but my breasts are (satisfyingly!) tender, and less pleasingly my digestion is pretty disordered. I am also very hungry all the time. Blush

OrcinusOrca · 13/10/2018 04:55

Urgh I'm out ladies! Woke up feeling a bit uncomfortable and I've got dark red blood. Guess it just wasn't meant to be Sad

Napssavelives · 13/10/2018 05:48

@OrcinusOrca I’m so sorry. Talk good care of yourself

GreenDill · 13/10/2018 07:01

@OrcinusOrca I’m so sorry Sad . Take it easy and be gentle to yourself x

beardotdo · 13/10/2018 07:02

@OrcinusOrca so sorry to hear that. Hope you’ve got some support, take care Flowers

KateTheHuman · 13/10/2018 07:03

@Orcinus I'm so sorry. :-(

KateTheHuman · 13/10/2018 07:04

@Takingtheleap You sound exactly like me! Welcome to the club! We have a Facebook group if you want to join.

GreenDill · 13/10/2018 07:25

How is everyone feeling today?

Torsz · 13/10/2018 07:28

@OrcinusOrca that's so sad, I'm sorry ❣️take care of yourself x

@GreenDill not too bad, sore throat is back so I'm back on the honey and lemon (seems to be an ongoing issue) but otherwise pretty ok ☺️ how about you?

Mummytomollyandbean · 13/10/2018 07:40

@OrcinusOrca so sorry. Take care of yourself Thanks

SilverSister · 13/10/2018 07:41

@OrcinusOrca So sorry. Look after yourself

@GreenDill I only found out two days ago and I'm probably 8weeks. Hadn't noticed any particular 'symptoms' before but in the last two days I've been double-guessing everything! Have I been going to the loo more, cramps, sore boobs, are my fingers a bit swollen, and jeans a bit tighter? Are they really there, or now I know, am I just making a big deal of things I wouldn't notice otherwise?!!

Called the doctor surgery yesterday to try and get an appointment and they told me I had to come in and fill out a form and then they would make an appointment. I had to announce to the receptionist in from of the whole waiting room that I needed a pregnancy questionnaire and they asked me back loudly which hospital I wanted to have my baby at (how am I supposed to have even thought about that yet?!!) and equally loudly booked me a midwife appointment for a couple of weeks time. I'm kind of annoyed that a whole load of strangers now know that I'm preggers when I haven't told my family yet. At least there was no one I know sitting in the waiting room!
