Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

I’ll make an appointment for around 8 weeks then so it gives them lots of time to arrange my scan. That’s ages away given in only 4+1. At least with bigger kids too the weeks go quick

Hoping you get through today okay, @Iswallowtoothpaste and @jacwuejacque.

I’m six weeks today but I haven’t been feeling good and I’ve also lost the few symptoms I had (sore breasts). Trying not to stress out but I don’t have a good feeling. I can’t decide if I should push the early scan up to 7 weeks or just wait till 8 weeks like planned.

I’ve no idea how to repost the message with all our dates.

First baby edd 18 June

No nausea yet. Hoping it stays this way. Sore boobs and knackered. But mostly just excited and can’t wait for June!!

So I just did a clear blue digital (despite me saying I wouldn’t) and it came up 2-3. I’m 5+5 today so was expecting 3+. Left me feeling really disheartened. I know I didn’t use fmu, so it isn’t entirely accurate, but still.

When did others get 3+?

I wouldn’t put too much in it, especially without FMU. They specifically say to use FMU if you want the weeks indicator, so it’s probably calibrated accordingly. I’ve also read a lot about people not having an accurate reading and hCG can vary so much from one person to another.

I'm from bristol too! 5 + 3 today starting to feel nausea now and again throughout the day! I don't know how to add myself to the list but I'm 5 + 3 this will be dc3, dc1 is 5 and dc2 is 9.

Oh and edd is the 8th June first midwives appointment tomorrow which seems early compared to a lot of people on here

Hi newbies :)

I’m feeling less emotional this afternoon, but I’ve been really wobbly at work all day. Had a panic attack earlier, I really think the worry of my missed miscarriage is getting to me. I’m not sure if an early scan will make me feel better or not to be honest, I might just leave it. It’ll make me feel better in the short term, but I had 2 healthy scans last time so I don’t know. My friend said I need to see my GP or midwife but I’m not sure they’ll be able to do anything to help me.

My maternity trousers arrived today, I feel so much more comfortable already.

@Torsz I'm about half an hour away from Bristol, near Shepton Mallet

So I went for an early scan today, but turns out my dates were all wrong. My last bleed was technically a miscarriage, so we went by date of conception which actually makes me 5+4 and not 6+1.

Saw a gestational sack and the yolk sac, which is what she would expect to see at 5+4. She said to come back later next week to see if a heartbeat is there.

Sat with my mouth open staring at the screen!! So surreal seeing it.

Still can’t decide wether to book an early one or not. I had one at 8 weeks with my DTs which was very reassuring.

@Azure83 I've never heard that before! I always thought it was a good gap - it's what my DB and I have although he was a twat to me when we were little. Just kidding. DS1 will be 2.5 years older than this one too, eek 🙈

Seeing doc on Friday, still no symptoms bar extreme tiredness (although that could also be my bring a full time student again) so all fine AFAIK.

Too tired to cook tonight, was about to grab a McDonald's at the station on the way home. It was closed, and I asked a member of staff if there was somewhere else to get something hot. She smiled and said 'oh, is baby hungry?'

I'M ONLY 6+3!!!! She must have thought I was 6 months!
