June 2019 - The Early Birds

SassehMonsta · 19/09/2018 16:22

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

@Littlemissamy - I can completely relate with you hear....the thought of the scan room is so scary! When I have my midwife appointment two weeks today I am going to mention my anxiety and see what they say. If they say no then my partner and I will look at booking in for an earlier scan x

jacquejacque · 09/10/2018 09:38

I've got a cut on the inside of my leg... just nipped for a wee and my pyjamas were covered in blood, thought it was another miscarriage but turned out to be the cut. My heart is going like the clappers!

Chocomalt · 09/10/2018 09:39

It's reassuring to hear others are fairly symptomless too.. anything can be a worry this early!
However I am suffering with insomnia @Littlemissamy 4am onwards seems to be my normal wake up time... I didn't realise it before that it was a pregnancy sign, but google says it it's.. and mine kicked in before I knew I was pregnant so maybe it is hormone related.. I hope that passes soon. I sympathise with those suffering from sickness, it must be truly awful especially when you are trying not to let many people know.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 09/10/2018 09:54

Welcome @Sosie91 ! I'm also pregnant with my third - there are a few of us in the same boat. I have a nearly 5yo boy and a girl who is 2.5.

There is a list down the thread of all of our details if the newbies want to add their own info and repost?

No insomnia here just bloody knackered!! Isn't it weird it send us both ways?!

Not feeling sick yet but going off cooking which is so unlike me. I just can't be bothered! Energy levels are zapped.

Mrsssmith11 · 09/10/2018 09:56

My morning sickness has definitely kicked in. Except it is all day sickness that gets worse as the day progresses. Almost vomited in my front garden this morning because the wind blew a bit of my own hair into my mouth....

I've not actually been sick, just so nauseous all the time.

I've got my first midwife appointment on 25th when I'll be 7+6.

thatsoccerchick · 09/10/2018 10:09

Morning all.

I'm getting on and off nausea - had a terrible time on the train to work yesterday. It was so crowded and hot. I get really tired in the afternoon as well, which makes work a struggle.

Anyone on DC2 or 3, what are your age gaps? My DS will be almost 4 when this one is born which I think will suit his personality. Just curious how other age gaps have worked out for everyone else.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 09/10/2018 10:13

@thatsoccerchick I have a two year four month gap between by two which was hard work to start with but is now great, they are best friends.

There will be a 3 year and 3 month gap for the third. I'm glad at least one of them will be at school haha!

Napssavelives · 09/10/2018 10:15

Ds1 is 5 ds2 is 3. 21 months between them. Will be 6 &4 when Baby gets here

Azure83 · 09/10/2018 10:23

Ds1 will he exactly two and a half when this one is born. I've read a lot about it being the worse age gap possible but hey, it's happening!

craftycanary · 09/10/2018 10:29

Hi everyone! Can I join? I just got my BFP after 14 months of trying!!! I had very irregular cycles ever since coming off the pill in March 2017 and had just started having blood tests to check for ovulation - got a few appts to cancel now!

Hasn't sunk in yet and still keep thinking it's not real but got a fairly strong 2nd line yesterday and this morning got a really strong 2nd line - so looks like I'm deffo preggo!

Based on due date calculators I would be due 14th June and I'm 4+4 today! Me and DH can't stop smiling!! Grin Grin Grin

SassehMonsta · 09/10/2018 10:33

DD will be 4 and a half when this one is due. I hope shes less of a threenager, shes horrific at the moment!

Mrsssmith11 · 09/10/2018 10:35

@thatsoccerchick by my reckoning I'll be due on 7th June, my dd will be 5 on 21st june.

@craftycanary congratulations!

beardotdo · 09/10/2018 10:44

@thatsoccerchick my DTs will be 3yrs 9mnths when this one arrives. I think I’d have struggled with a smaller age gap.

craftycanary · 09/10/2018 10:55

Thanks guys!!

Keeping my fingers crossed that none of you have too horrible symptoms. I've got sore boobs and been needing to wee a lot but that's all so far. Also been having a gurgly feeling in my tummy but not sure if that's just nervousness!!

Now just got to get my head round the fact that I won't be drinking any mulled wine or eating brandy butter this Christmas haha!

When does everyone plan to tell people? We are thinking of telling our parents and my best mate next weekend (they know we've been trying and will be suspicious that I'm not drinking!) but won't tell everyone else until after 12w scan.

MadeInCornwallx3 · 09/10/2018 11:00

Her is the latest list I can see... newbies if you want to add your details and repost that would be fab!

sorry if anyone is missing - it's the most recent I saw Smile*

Uggghhh today is the day that I bled/spotted during my last pregnancy (6+3) so I’m pretty nervous as it is only to wake up to completely normal feeling boobs and no rethink or vomiting plus mild cramps and backache!! No bleeding or spotting so far touch wood!

Still needing a wee all the time and fairly tired but obviously quite worried too. Just feels like the symptoms I had last time before my MMC.

@jacquejacque
Big hugs. I understand your anxiety but there is absolutely no reason to believe it'll happen this again to you Flowers fingers crossed for some happy healthy babies come June!

jacquejacque · 09/10/2018 11:57

Thank you @BeautifulBlue - I've just booked in with midwives (good job I did, they can't see me until 10 weeks!) and booked a private scan for 7 weeks to help put my mind at ease

BeautifulBlue · 09/10/2018 12:03

@jacquejacque Shock that is a bit late! Glad you've got your early scan hope it gives some reassurance x

stellarfox · 09/10/2018 12:21

@Torsz I’m in brislington! :)

SassehMonsta · 09/10/2018 12:23

10 weeks for midwife booking in appointment is normal - they like to see people 8-11 weeks round here.
