June 2019 - The Early Birds

SassehMonsta · 19/09/2018 16:22

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

Hi, I’ve taken 3 tests, all positive! 2 days passed when AF is due so keeping my fingers crossed. I’d be due on 11th or 13 June, not really sure as last month had a few days of spotting first and so don’t know what I should put as the first day of my last period!
I have lots of fluttering going on!

AnitaPage · 06/10/2018 10:24

So sorry, take care of yourself xx

Kescilly · 06/10/2018 10:31

I've had more cramping and my resting heart rate has been plummeting on my Fitbit. Taking a wait and see approach.

stellarfox · 06/10/2018 11:40

@RanchoRelaxo really sorry, thinking of you!

@Kescilly It’s just so hard to be positive but cramping can be normal!

I’ve been thinking about what the doctor said to me. She couldn’t find the embryo on the ultrasound and she said my hcg level was 4500 and she would have expected to see something with that level. I’m about 5 weeks but could be a couple days less if implanted late. So annoying I’m out the country so I can’t really get an answer until I go home. I’m worried if I pay for an ultrasound separately here and they don’t find an embryo and it’s just empty, that it might be a missed miscarriage. It’s difficult to know what to do! I think I’m only covered for emergencies in terms to health care so I might just have to wait

Kescilly · 06/10/2018 12:11

@stellarfox I suppose it depends on what would happen with the information you got from the ultrasound. Are you worried that you'd need urgent, expensive medical care? How long will you be away and how are you feeling?

I'm more worried about the plummeting heart rate than the cramps. I haven't bled yet, so I'm just going to take the Fitbit off, put it in a drawer, and see how the next few days go.

jacquejacque · 06/10/2018 12:15

Hello, can I join? This will be my first baby, but third pregnancy having had two chemicals in recent months. Currently 4+2, due June 13th and feeling very nervous!

Symptoms so far have been milder than the last two times, bit of backache and nausea, sensitive nipples and absolutely knackered.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 06/10/2018 12:24

@jacquejacque just take it day by day. I’ve also had two consecutive M/C’s before this pregnancy (the second one got to 9+3, I’m 6 weeks today so the anxiety is still going strong!) take your folic acid, eat well, drink plenty and rest when you can xxx

stellarfox · 06/10/2018 12:38

@Kescilly Yeah I would be covered in an emergency but I’m worried if we paid for an ultrasound and it was inconclusive again... if we were worried and wanted more investigation it would probably be at our own cost! I think we might just have to wait and see. In the UK they would have got me
in for another scan and bloods on Mon :(

MadeInCornwallx3 · 06/10/2018 12:50

Welcome @AnitaPage and @jacquejacque - congratulations on the BFP's!

@stellarfox That sounds so frustrating. I guess you just have to weigh up which is going to stress you the most - waiting until you're back in the UK for a scan or having an inconclusive again? It's a horrible waiting game I know but I really really wish you all the luck for a positive outcome!

I'm 4+6 and still firmly in the 'petrified every time I go to the loo' stage 🙈

Torsz · 06/10/2018 13:59

@MadeInCornwallx3 I've got a lot better over the past few days but keep having to try and stop myself from getting overexcited as I know it's several weeks before we get out of the 'danger zone'. It's such a difficult time!

Welcome newbies :)

Completelyclueless33 · 06/10/2018 14:37

Hello everyone, can I join too?
I’m pregnant with my first, due 12th June according to the calculator. Only found out 2 days ago, was in shock, happy and now feeling completely overwhelmed and crying all the time. I’ve recently moved to Wales with my amazing husband but I don’t know anyone. Missing my friends in Sussex massively! Baby is kinda in the plans (we’re both 33 so thought we’d better get on with it!) just didn’t expect it to work on the 1st cycle. I should feel grateful but I think I’m in shock! Sorry for the essay, feeling a bit lonesome! Xxx

Ksjourney · 06/10/2018 15:28

Welcome everyone.

@stellarfox when are you back in the UK? It sounds like you are quite stressed and this maybe impacting on your trip home. Would having a scan there help you feel more in control? Or is not knowing better and you can try to enjoy your time away?

Anyone else's sense of smell hit today? I woke up and had to have all the bins and recycling out the house ASAP 🤢

mamansnet · 06/10/2018 15:36

Rancho Thanks

Iswallowtoothpaste · 06/10/2018 16:31

6 weeks today! Quite crampy with backache too and TMI but I feel very wet down there, almost like I’ve come on 😫

Had a bit of nausea this morning but I stayed in bed till it had passed and got up slowly! That seemed to wear off for the rest of the day but has resurfaced in the last half hour or so, have had an apple to try and lessen it!

I don’t want to jinx anything but I thought I’d be a nightmare this pregnancy, last time I was a nervous wreck from start to finish, it’s almost like intuitively, I knew something wasn’t quite right. I’m so much calmer this time, I’m expecting a bleed this week as with my two pregnancies that have gotten this far, I’ve had a bleed between week 6 and 7. Kind of hoping that I doesnt happen as I know I’ll freak out when I see it.

Hope everyone else is ok

AnitaPage · 06/10/2018 16:44

Who have you guys told, if anyone?! I told my OH but really want to talk to another woman about it but as it’s still such early days it know it’s not really the done thing tell people so soon. I don’t have a mum to talk to and don’t want to tell my sisters yet.
