Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

So sorry to hear that @mussie. Hope you can take some time for yourself.

@stellarfox I am super thirsty too. I’ve started drinking 3L of water a day.

@kescilly Hope you come across some cool moms. I was surprised at the age range mix in my NCT group first time around, moms were 29-41. They’ve been invaluable as a support network.

@mussie so sorry. Please get checked out to make sure it’s nothing else as my bleeding on Monday seemed just like af.

Update from me... had low levels of hcg of around 350 Monday which they said was very low so said prepare for it to be a miscarriage. However today’s levels had gone up by 81% which they said is very good as they expect normal pregnancy to rise by 61% . So they now think either the scan didn’t show anything because it was to early or that I could be having eptopic pregnancy. So to go back for scan next Tuesday. Or go back sooner if become unwell. It’s been a rollercoaster the last few days xx

That is bitter sweet @BLM18 but great your levels have increased so much! I bet everything is fine, I'll keep my fingers crossed for Tuesday x

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. Have been helping myself to some excellent chocolate, and was able to leave the office early today and work from home, so have been drinking tea in my pyjamas and taking it easy. Still very much in two minds about whether to wait a cycle before TTC as advised by EPU (can't bear the thought of this happening all over again next month), or whether to jump straight back on the conception buses. I suppose I have at least another week to decide.

Glad to hear your good news @BLM18! I hope that it was just too early for them to see anything! EPU have told me to take another pregnancy test in 10 days and get back to them with the result, so if it's a positive they said they would see me straight away for a scan. I don't have much hope for a positive after this much bleeding though!

Oh bless you @mussie you're being so brave. Rest up & take it easy, do what ever you feel is right when the time comes, hope your DP is looking after you. X

I’m really struggling with drinking less coffee. I normally drink SO much. I’ve had 3 cups today, (plus 2 decaf) which is less than normal but still more than recommended. I didn’t struggle to give it up with the DTs, but since I had them I’ve developed a serious habit.

@Beautifulblue Thank you!! Struggling to believe it’s true (we’ve been TTC since March last year) but just keeping everything crossed that it’s ok 🤞 We have a scan next Thursday so counting the days!

I've booked a private scan for 8+1, thanks to everyone for the advice. Now going to be on pins and needles waiting. 😬
