Hello there,

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

I can't sleep. I had may dreams, DD woke me up to find her teddy bear, and DH is sleeping on the sofa cos he pissy at me. So I'm in bed with the dog who is snoring, and can't get back to sleep. But tbh, with the mad dreams I'm not.sure I want to!!!

Benn cramping every day (other than today) like most on here trying to keep the thoughts at bay. Sleeping fine, though did go to bed at 8pm last night 😴. @Beautifulblue I also got a girl.

I’m 4+6, EDD 6th June I think. This will be baby number 3, I already have 3 year old twins. They were born premature due to preeclampsia and before them I had 2 MCs, so I’m crossing everything that this is a successful pregnancy.
Im absolutely shattered and the nausea has started today. Hoping that these are all good signs!

Just had this come up on my pregnancy app this morning, for those of you who have been cramping.

Lower abdominal cramping is just one of those things that happen (yep — another one) when a baby is growing in your belly. Doctors call it round ligament pain. See, your uterus is getting bigger every day (so is baby!), and the muscles and ligaments supporting it are stretching out to accommodate the changes. That stretching can bring a bit of pain, especially when you change positions, cough or are particularly active. These mild aches and jabs are normal and (sorry) may persist as your uterus continues to grow. To get some relief, scale back the physical activity and avoid cramp-inducing positions. Also try a warm bath, or simply stretch out and kick up your heels — resting comfortably should ease the pain.
You needn’t worry unless the pain is severe, constant or accompanied by bleeding or other unusual signs. If you have any of these symptoms, call your doctor right away

@thatsoccerchick I lost you in all the posts! Glad to hear you've settled and I hope that I'll do the same. I already feel a bit old for this (everyone seems to be on their second kid) but hopefully I'll meet people who don't care about my age.

@Beautifulblue I have an appointment next week to as about meds and I'm wondering if I should mention that I've had cramping and bleeding. I didn't book a separate appointment for that because I figured there was nothing they could do this early. But now I'm wondering if it's important to flag up any bleeding.

Should we leave off how far along we are on the list? Since it will change every day and won't be accurate as people add info at different times.

@Kescilly I think they do advice you tell your GP about any bleeding! Has it stopped now though? If it was light/for a short period I've heard this is reasonably normal for some women. Yes I agree, didn't think of this but due dates are better as they won't change (much).

@Beautifulblue yes, it was pretty short. I got my BFP at 12dpo and the next day, at 13dpo, I had spotting and cramps. It was on and off through the day, then settled down. I had some cramps later as well, but no bleeding.

I didn't contact the GP at the time because it was before what they'd consider a missed period. And also we were leaving the following day to go abroad. Honestly, the GP practice has seemed totally uninterested in the fact that I'm pregnant and given me no directions, so I didn't think they'd be bothered about this.

I got my booking in appointment today (via text!) for the 31st, so five years to the day after being in labour with my first which feels weird!

Sorry if tmi but had a blob of clear/cream coloured jelly discharge today - is that normal?! I can't recall if I had it before.... super paranoid at the mo. Looking forward to hitting those week markers.
