June 2019 - The Early Birds

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

@Stormwhale yep. I am the same. Bump already 🤦🏻‍♀️

pollykins151 · 01/10/2018 19:08

*well bloat rather than bump I guess haha

hopefulbabydust123 · 01/10/2018 19:30

How do doctors usually work out how far along you are? From the first day of my last period I will be 7 weeks tomorrow so that means in the next 1-3 weeks I should get my booking in appointment shouldn't I? Or do doctors and midwives calculate it from ovulation so then I would only be about 5 weeks (just guessing)? Just wondering so I know roughly when they are going to contact me x

hopefulbabydust123 · 01/10/2018 19:32

I'm completely new to all this so don't know what to expect x

Mummytomollyandbean · 01/10/2018 19:36

@hopefulbabydust123 they count from the last day of your period. You will find that when you go for your first scan the dates will change slightly. They did with my first anyway.

BLM18 · 01/10/2018 19:57

Update - had a scan.. to early to show anything and some fluid which isn’t a good sign. Had bloods and going back in 48hrs to compare levels. Thanks for everyone’s good wishes

Kescilly · 01/10/2018 20:01

I’m sorry to hear that @BLM18. I’ll be thinking of you and hoping for the best.

I feel like my symptoms have disappeared. Probably going to try one of those week indicator tests tomorrow.

pollykins151 · 01/10/2018 20:11

@BLM18 I had to do that last time go for bloods a couple of days apart. Fingers crossed it's good news for you. Sending hugs.

BLM18 · 01/10/2018 20:26

@pollykins151 Thankyou! Reassuring to know someone been through it with a good outcome. Feel bit helpless as all I can do is wait!

Ithinkthatsenough · 01/10/2018 21:30

Anyone had dissapearing symptoms? Feel back to normal today.. bit worried. Had full boobs, bit of nausea and tiredness.
Had a MC at 12 weeks and 2 days earlier this year, so a bit anxious

Ithinkthatsenough · 01/10/2018 21:31

Ps im only 4+5 and have kids already but was a while ago so difficult to remember how i was then!

Beautifulblue · 01/10/2018 22:55

Hope it turns out to be good news for you @BLM18

pollykins151 · 02/10/2018 02:27

Pesky insomnia 😩😩

SockQueen · 02/10/2018 02:39

I'm on a night shift so the insomnia is kind of helpful! Just hope I can sleep in the day.

hopefulbabydust123 · 02/10/2018 02:54

Past few nights I've been awake until really late just can't seem to get to sleep lol

fee1234 · 02/10/2018 05:38

Up early again.. I seem to have insomnia at this part of the night.

Used my last digital and finally got my 3+ and I am 5+1 today.

I think I will finally stop testing and just start to believe it is real.

Insomnia sucks doesn't it? Today made worse by the fact that the smoke alarm went off at 5am, it's run out of battery so I took the battery out (we have 2 more in the house!). Now DH is awake with me too.

@SassehMonsta that must have given you a fright! Yeah I know I've been waking up so early for about a week and just can't get back to sleep. Been going in to work for about half 7, my boss has been looking at my flexi like 🤔

RanchoRelaxo · 02/10/2018 06:43

Morning everyone! 4+5 today, time seems to be going a bit quicker and I think it's starting to sink in now 😂 I can't believe how many of us have got similar/the same due date! So exciting!

stellarfox · 02/10/2018 06:51

Morning! I’m 4+5 too 😄 Although time is still going slowly for me! On Friday I’m going on holiday though so hopefully that will keep me distracted. I keep waking up early too and needing to pee in the night more than usual!

madamdarkin · 02/10/2018 06:54

Hi ladies

I had my BFP on Saturday- EDD 7 June!

TTC two months and I'm 37 with 7 & 10 year old daughters from my ex.

Had Dr appointment yesterday so now I guess I wait for first scan!

So weird as my other two pregnancies were in Dubai and South Africa where it's all private, so you are seen by a gynaecologist and scanned each time!

Also had severe HG with the last two, hoping maybe as it's a new dad it may be different this time! Xx

Kescilly · 02/10/2018 07:10

Good morning! I have jet lag but I’m pleased I managed to get a decent night’s rest.

I posted about a loss of symptoms upthread, @Ithinkthatsenough. I couldn’t tell if I felt nauseous from the pregnancy or traveling, but my breasts don’t hurt anymore. According to LMP I’m 5 weeks today and I took a digital which said 3+. So I’ll take that as a good sign for now.

I’m not sure how to feel emotionally. I want to be excited because I’ve never been pregnant, but I also know the high rate of miscarriage and don’t want to get too attached.

Mummytomollyandbean · 02/10/2018 07:13

@RanchoRelaxo @stellarfox I'm 4+5 as well!

RanchoRelaxo · 02/10/2018 07:30

Yay! @Mummytomollyandbean @stellarfox 6th June club! 😁

Littlemissamy · 02/10/2018 07:34

Ahh I’m 6th June too going on my LMP!
