Also I feel like it's worth mentioning...I'm sure people must realise this...your name is on the top of scan images. This obviously is fine on FB but if you've come on here for anonymity this might not be what you are after...Confused

mayago · 19/09/2018 22:54

@UntilTheVeryEnd that's so unfair, and not the reaction you need from family. Are you okay?

@frankiefumbles I think my boobs have gotten the pregnancy message today. I'm still BF DD, so wasn't sure if I'd escaped. Does your tummy swell more towards the end of the day?

I managed a whole day without a nap. Not sure if that's been messing with my sleep, or if I have a bit of pregnancy insomnia going on! Lets see what tomorrow brings..

SassehMonsta · 20/09/2018 03:39

@mayago - did your be change once you fell pregnant? DD selfweaned last time, the day before I got a bfp. All of a sudden just stopped. I think the.hromones in the milk changed and she just refused (5 months old at the time!).

SassehMonsta · 20/09/2018 05:43

I totally meant bf* not be. As on, breastfeeding.

Rubberduckies · 20/09/2018 07:02

I'm still in shock but I think I can join this thread....tested yesterday and I'm 4+3 (based on ovulation, 4+5 from period, what do people use?) Dh have been trying for over a year, had fertility tests which were not good, and so were put on the waiting list for icsi. We'd pretty much given up and were feeling depressed, and now there's a ball of cells the size of a poppy seed in my uterus. How the hell did that happen!? So a bit confused and disbelieving here...Hi everyone!

inkworks273 · 20/09/2018 08:01

Congratulations and welcome @Rubberduckies Smile

SurfingOwl · 20/09/2018 08:33

Congratulations @Rubberduckies! 👋🏻 I’m so pleased for you.

inkworks273 · 20/09/2018 08:52

Well that's me 5 weeks exactly today. Took a clear blue this morning and got my 3+!

I think it might be time to get in contact with the midwife Smile

Lorrie3 · 20/09/2018 09:06

Welcome @rubberduckies.... im so pleased for you! I totally get the shock thing in 8+5 and only found out on sunday we weren't trying its mental when you think of the little bean inside you!!

dreaminofholidays · 20/09/2018 09:08

@rubberduckies congratulations!

I think I may be starting to get more symptoms. I felt I might be sick after dinner last night and feel so rough today, just absolutely shattered. x

EspressoPatronum · 20/09/2018 09:59

Oh wow, congratulations rubberduckies !

mayago · 20/09/2018 10:01

@SassehMonsta Bf didn't change greatly here. DD has canines coming through, and it is super uncomfortable, but she's feeding as often as is normal for her right now. Not sure I'm even close to getting enough liquids though

Congratulations @Rubberduckies !!

Amolly · 20/09/2018 10:07

Morning all. Going to ring for my first appointment today. But now I'm a little worried as I noticed a little pink/brown tinge when I wiped. Hoping all is ok x

Mejse · 20/09/2018 10:26

Congrats to all the newbies!

I had an early scan yesterday at 8+1 and it went really well, everything is as it should be.
I had my booking in today, here in Denmark they do it at your gp but with the nurse/midwife at that clinic. I have to book my 12week scan myself online then I won't see my actual midwife until 14-15weeks.

I'm booked in to see the doctor again next week for my blood test results and to talk a bit about my previous anxiety and depression so that we can keep on top of anything that comes up.

It's all feeling a lot more real now

earlybirdhasanap · 20/09/2018 10:34

Welcome to all the newbies. Ive been waiting for the midwives to phone me back for a week so I've left another voicemail today. Fingers crossed i hear from them soon.
I had hg in my last pregnancy and I was feeling like this time round was different until I worked Tuesday night and I've been throwing up ever since. I didn't get any sleep last night. Luckily I managed to see my gp first thing this morning who didn't mess me around and prescribed me the anti sickness that helped last time. I'm feeling guilty about taking it but I couldn't function last time and now I've got a toddler I can't take to my bathroom for weeks wrapped in a duvet.

SassehMonsta · 20/09/2018 12:12

@Earlybirdhasanap - I feel you. I wanted to curl up and sleep today but had to take DH to work and drop DD at my mum's, and then go to work myself! Wish we could have duvet days more often. This morning I was up at 5.45 being a pirate and hunting for treasure.

frankiefumbles · 20/09/2018 14:32

Well...I've got my hcg blood tests booked next week for what would be 6+1 and 6+3 tues and thurs to check hcg still rising. I'm a bit nervous about this but will confirm one way or another. If the hcg is rising then, this will be my longest pregnancy but I still won't feel entirely out of the woods. If I think about it too much I feel quite panicked but trying to just move on. I wish I could fast forward to next Friday to find out.

If all goes well, I'll then book a scan for the day before I go away 7+4 to hopefully see something. But I daren't get too excited yet Confused

inkworks273 · 20/09/2018 16:54

@frankiefumbles Sorry you're feeling so anxious and I hope the blood tests are able to put your mind at ease.

It's so hard not to worry. This is my first pregnancy and I can't believe how anxious I've been. I was always so worried that we would have trouble conceiving that I didn't even think about the worry that would set in once we got our BFP.

Like you I'd love to just fast forward these next few weeks.

earlybirdhasanap · 20/09/2018 17:00

@frankiefumbles I can totally relate to the anxiety. I felt like that last time and couldn't relax my whole pregnancy.
I hope the blood tests are reassuring for you.

Pebblespony · 20/09/2018 17:54

The anxiety is a bastard. I think I'm keeping a lid on it this time. My biggest help was to Google nothing pregnancy related. Nothing at all. Really helps.

kiltedsheep · 20/09/2018 18:18

Does anyone here do any sort of meditation? I imagine that might help with anxiety?

This is going to sound odd, but the feelings of exhaustion and nausea I have at the moment appear to be smothering my normal anxiety. I kind of miss my usual nervous energy - it meant I was always on the go. (I'm sure anxiety was the basis for anything I've ever achieved...)

rosettesforjill · 20/09/2018 18:30

Welcome @Rubberduckies!

I have used the Headspace app in the past and I think I'll start using it again - there's a specific pregnancy one you can do. May have to wait until I have a new phone though - spilled a bottle of water on mine today and it is well and truly dead Sad

SurfingOwl · 20/09/2018 19:28

Anxiety has kicked in here. I was doing so well.

Falalafel · 20/09/2018 20:49

I understand the anxiety. Thinking of you guys❤️! SadDoes anyone here have experience of having low b12 while pregnant? My bloods came back with very low levels and I’m terrified it’s had an impact on baby. Sick with worry there’s something wrong now. I’m only 7 weeks.

Pebblespony · 20/09/2018 21:21

No experience of B12 I'm afraid but I'm sure if your levels were harmful to the baby they would have told you and suggested a remedy.
