Hello everyone! I thought I'd start a thread for babies due in April 2019 as I couldn't see an existing post for it.

I'm 29
I have a DS who is 12 months
Due 3 April with DC2

I'm only 3+2 so extremely early! I can't quite believe it but I got a line on a test at 8dpo, and the line is getting darker. I'm very excited, but also very nervous.

Oh @Pitterpatter01, I'm sorry it wasn't more reassuring. That's what my doctor said, except about the resting. Feels impossible to rest with a nearly 3 year old. Im sure it can't be good for me carrying a 2stone 10lb toddler about.
Sending a big hug xxx

I'm just upset. I just want to know and I want it all to be ok.
I'm really not sure, I'm only 4+3 because of my short cycles so I'm just hoping if I go to the doctor Monday she will agree to send me for a 6w scan. If not I'll book one for when I'm 6 weeks.
I've got into bed because I'm tired and feel sick. I'd take it as a positive but I'm just worn out from looking after my son and worrying and I've eaten too much.

Pitterpatter01 · 03/08/2018 21:32

I’m praying we both get our happy ending. I still feel pregnant, but also menstrual like pains. Like you I feel tired and exhausted.
It’s like torture having to wait and not knowing. Is it 6 weeks that they can pick it up?

junglemum83 · 04/08/2018 03:53

Hi ladies we have just found out I am pregnant, 4th one! I must be mad! I will have a 3 year old a 12 and a 8 year old come due date!😮

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2018 06:43

At 6 weeks they may be able to see a heartbeat. I went with my son at 6+4 and saw a heartbeat and was dated 6 weeks.
They won't scan me before that.
Fingers crossed for us both.

Congratulations junglemum :)

Newbie2703 · 04/08/2018 06:54

The nausea is unreal this morning ! I was so close to picking up the phone and ringing in sick but I'm gonna brave it and hope for the best Hmm I'm sure I've got lots more to come !

organised5 · 04/08/2018 07:56

@junglemum83 welcome!! 4 😱 what a lovely family you're going to have. This is my first so any tips and advice then please share!

@Newbie2703 sorry to hear that. Have you found anything that helps? I haven't had any sickness yet but I seem to recall you're about 2 weeks ahead of me so maybe I have that joy still to come... I'm 4+5 today.

Newbie2703 · 04/08/2018 08:08

Yeah @organised5 I'm 6+5 I'm sure you've got it all to come. Not yet, I've just took some crackers to work so I'm going to nibble them and see if it helps. Apart from that just avoiding food smells has helped so far haha

Fluffy475 · 04/08/2018 08:17

@Newbie2703 I've always found ginger tea and toast with just butter has always helped me when suffering with the dreading morning sickness. At the mo I'm getting it sporadically any time of day. Eating little and often usually staves it off. Hope work isn't horrible for you today and you feel better soon xx

Fluffy475 · 04/08/2018 08:17

Well I've gotten over irritable and now I'm just crying over every

Fluffy475 · 04/08/2018 08:19

Whoops posted too early!!

Crying over everything!! Have a horrible mouth ulcer which is so painful and giving me a headache. We're going away this weekend so dh has just come in to find me sobbing into my make up bag about how miserable having a mouth ulcer is 😂😂 I'm such an ugly sobber too 😂😂

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2018 08:22

I have a massive painful mouth ulcer too Fluffy! And I'm irritable and upset and waaaaaaaah.

Fluffy475 · 04/08/2018 08:25

@Treaclepie19 it's horrible isn't it 😔 I can barely eat at the moment and the salt washes dh is making me do are horrible!! How are you feeling today apart from that?

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2018 08:27

Eek I bet! I've just been using Listerine as normal.
I'm okay thanks, a bit up and down but for the most part repeating "today I am pregnant" and going from there :)

Pepperpot81 · 04/08/2018 08:29

Hi ladies,

I’ve been lurking for a few days but @kisses4u has given me the confidence to join as our stats are identical!

I’m also 37, EDD 4th April, DC1 now 2.5 years.

I’m really sorry for those who are having a hard time.

I’m nervous but trying to stay calm. Have had a mad busy few weeks and weekends so hoping this one is more calm and I can catch up on housework and life admin! Having said that, I do have a two-year-old...!

Symptoms wise I’m just exhausted! And can be uncomfortable after I eat which is a bit strange given the ‘baby is the size of an apple seed’ fact I’ve just seen.

Having an early private scan at 7 weeks so time can’t pass quickly enough for me.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Fluffy475 · 04/08/2018 10:06

@Pepperpot81 welcome! And I was feeling like that last week so just trying to eat foods that are light and easy to digest. Don't remember having heartburn this early!

@Treaclepie19 good for you, hopefully the next week or so can go quickly and you can get some reassurance

Told my best friends yesterday and I l think they're more excited than we are!! One of them is a midwife so she's said she'll look after me personally which I'm really chuffed about as it means it will be so much easier to get everything done!! Locally our main maternity ward is nearly an hour away so I'm really wanting either local birth centre or home birth and I know she'll be honest about whether I can do that or not!

Newbie2703 · 04/08/2018 10:29

Thankyou @fluffy475 I'll give them a go. Mine has been all day too ! My boyfriend decided to treat me and take me out for dinner last night ! Big mistake he ended up eating 2 meals and I sat there trying to not throw up Blush

sachabloom · 04/08/2018 11:33

Hey everyone, hope it's ok if I join!

Due April 14th, first baby. Very very nervous but mostly very excited. We've known for 3 days but it only hit me about 10 minutes ago and I sobbed (very happy tears!).

Not really got any symptoms as of yet, just hunger and thirst!

Hope everyone is doing well xxx

DumbledoresSocks · 04/08/2018 11:48

Congratulations new joiners! I had a darker line this morning. Was planning to use a digital but it didn't work, no egg timer or anything 😡 so I'll try again tomorrow, but looking promising! I dared to switch to pregnancy mode in my Flo app just now!

Pitterpatter01 · 04/08/2018 11:58

@Treaclepie19 sadly the bleeding and pain have got worse, and a pregnancy test is now negative. I have pain in my left hand side and feel really poorly. Phoned 111 and they said I need to go to A&E within the hour as there are concerns it could be an ectopic pregnancy.
I’m heartbroken, devastated, scared and in pain. Don’t know how I will cope with this. Trying to hide it from 6 year old. Just dropping him off at a friends then A&E

DumbledoresSocks · 04/08/2018 12:02

I'm so sorry @Pitterpatter01 do you have anyone to go with you?

Fluffy475 · 04/08/2018 12:07

So sorry to hear that @Pitterpatter01 big hugs, hope you're going to be ok and that you have someone looking after you xx

Pitterpatter01 · 04/08/2018 12:34

My husband is with me. Truly heartbroken 💔

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2018 12:35

I'm so very sorry @pitterpatter01, let us know how you get on. Thinking of you xxx

DumbledoresSocks · 04/08/2018 13:30

Thinking of you x

sachabloom · 04/08/2018 13:31

So sorry @Pitterpatter01 ❤️
