April 2019 Babies

Hello everyone! I thought I'd start a thread for babies due in April 2019 as I couldn't see an existing post for it.

I'm 29
I have a DS who is 12 months
Due 3 April with DC2

I'm only 3+2 so extremely early! I can't quite believe it but I got a line on a test at 8dpo, and the line is getting darker. I'm very excited, but also very nervous.

Wow what a lovely thing to do for your brother @Proseccopanda and welcome! I've booked a private scan for when I'm 7+1 so interested to see what you can see 😁

@TheMagicTorch thanks, and when I had a scan at that stage last time, my niece literally looked like a little bean, haha!

Due to my irregular cycles, I think my date is subject to change! But for now I’m in the 14th club!

I’m not tying my colours to a day mast yet, I could be anyway from 3rd to 19th, I reckon! My cycles are so up the spout.

Feeling quite sick and knackered this evening. Ugh.

Joining in!! I expect this date to change given i ovulated quite late . Any one no morning sickness? It's making me anxious . Tested preg 3+ two days ago on Cb digital which lines up with my dates of 5wks and 4 days . Sore nipples and hungry n moodwise but nothing else!

@lolacola13 I’ve never had any symptoms with either of my previous two pregnancies - or with this one so far - other than the occasional bout of queasiness and I get very dizzy if I go in lifts?!

@DartmoorDoughnut that makes me feel a little better . Lol. This is pregnancy number three in four months I never got past 5 and half weeks rhe last two cycles the lines got fainter symptoms didn't appear and then period would come about a week n half after it was expected . It's all so nerve wracking isn't it! Xo

@lolacola13 oh bless you no wonder you’re worrying everything crossed for you everyone and every pregnancy is different so try not to compare and try to not keep testing! I’m not believing it yet for me mind as have only had faint lines so I will be testing again tomorrow 😂

I'm really not sure what to do today :(
Yesterday I had an upset stomach and cramps last night, thought it was just wind/pregnancy upset stomach.
This morning I've still got cramps on my left side. It's getting quite uncomfortable.
I have a private scan tomorrow so I just want this to go away... if I go to the doctors this morning and they refer me I woildnt have a scan til sometime next week.
Not sure whether to just wait it out.

@DartmoorDoughnut ahh good luck with those strong lines I know the feeling. I've only tested twice this week . Once using a digital which I got a 3+ on which was good too see as I never got that far before. Just wish I had some stronger symptoms. Hopefully my blood hcg results are back today I had them taken on Friday there which was three days after expected period so doc said she likes to see them in the hundreds at that stage .

@Treaclepie19 poor you, that sounds horrid. I've had cramps and an upset stomach since the end of last week, but the cramps haven't been that bad. If the cramps are getting severe or if they are stopping you from doing things, then it might be an idea to give the doctor or nhs direct a call. Good luck xx

Thank you @Ohnonotanotherusername, im thinking I'll wait it out. It's only aching at the moment and I'm moving about fine.
I have a scan tomorrow anyway so I reckon it'd be a longer wait if i went to the doctor anyway.

@lolacola13 don’t forget that HCG levels are different for everyone too though! Im sure I’ve read that as long as they’re doubling every 2days it’s all good

@treaclepie19, try not to worry x I was bunged up last week, totally the opposite this week so I think it’s oretty normal. Horrible to go through though. If anything, so far this pregnancy I’ve just felt really ill I have a snotty nose, and have been having hot flushes and chills. Add to that he nausea and upset stomach and I just want to be in bed. I’m counting down the (20)days til the dc are back in school so I can feel awful in peace. I also seem to have a demented form of early nesting. All of a sudden I’m looking around and wanting to madly throw all the clutter out. We have so much Lego we could open a toy shop and all I’m seeing is a choking hazard!
