@TheWanderlust I am with you on the phobia of being sick I'm terrified of it 😞
And have to eat regardless what time I wake at night!

@wineandchoccy @mostimproved oh how exciting hope all goes well tomorrow.

At my booking in appointment with DS the midwife scanned me!! Totally unexpected but so lovely too DH wasn't even there 😂 Hope they do it this time around!

Jadeelx · 22/07/2018 14:55

@Orville82 I have literally the same issue with my MIL. She said a few months back ‘no more boys’, I have a son and my brother in law has 4 boys. So I had that feeling like, when I get pregnant next it will probably be a boy an she won’t care. My SIL is pregnant actually and just found at she is having a girl, so at least the pressures off a little. I’m like whatever about it, but I do care, any child is a blessing and deserves attention regardless of what number grandchild or sex it is!!!

Ladies can I ask has anyone had anything like this, sorry for the TMI but I’ve been having the worst diarrhea of my life for the last 3 days which isn’t easing up. Accompanied with nausea. I’m 5 weeks exactly and it’s defo not food, and I haven’t been able to eat since. I’m worried and am also breastfeeding! Going to try and get in with doctors tomorrow, but what a crap side effect of pregnancy to get, pardon the pun 😭
Last time I was constipated i didn’t have this issue, didn’t even know it was a thing! I feel like there’s nothing left of me

Newbie2703 · 22/07/2018 15:14

Hey, hope I'm okay to join. New to all this and first time mum :) Due 25th March. 5 weeks tomorrow. Had 1 day of nausea last week and nothing since so I'm feeling like I've dreamt the BFP Hmm. Hope everyone is well !

Shampooeeee · 22/07/2018 15:16

Jadeelx I’ve had random bouts of diarrhoea but nothing that serious. Hope you are managing to keep your fluids up.

My in laws are heavy on boys. SIL and BIL had 3 boys and got so many comments about the sex of their 4th child that would have really annoyed me. Luckily (for the commentators) it was a girl. I think they will be ok this time but if we have a second boy and then decide to go for number 3, they will be a nightmare!

Orville82 · 22/07/2018 15:19

@Jadeelx I’ve just had this too! I got it fairly badly last night and first thing this morning. My stomach area feels fine in itself so was kind of ignoring it, but you asking has prompted me to consult Dr Google (naughty, I know) but apparently it’s a quite normal symptom as the hormone changes play havoc with your defective system. Most people have morning sickness but constipation and diarrhoea are up there too. If it continues I’m hitting the Dioralyte hard!

Orville82 · 22/07/2018 15:20

Digestive, not defective Grin

Jadeelx · 22/07/2018 15:36

@Orville82 sorry to hear you have it too but it’s reassuring that I’m not the only one!! I’ve just sent DH out to get me some of that, I’m feeling like death warmed up. I was feeling smug last week, no symptoms like last pregnancy, but now it’s payback and I am having a hard time of it!

Goatlady5812 · 22/07/2018 15:38

@murphyrocks I have exactly the same situation! We have 2 boys plus DH has a son from a previous relationship- his brother has two boys, all cousins have boys so I know everyone is going to be more excited for a girl however I’m pretty certain already it’s a boy! X

Goatlady5812 · 22/07/2018 15:39

Sorry I meant @badbadbeans

BadBadBeans · 22/07/2018 16:09

@Goatlady5182 interesting... So lots of us have very boy heavy families then! Funnily enough I have a strong feeling that this one is a girl. But then I thought that with DS and he is definitely a boy Grin

HidCat · 22/07/2018 16:17

@Murphyrocks another boy heavy family here. One girl and 5 boys. The only pressure for gender though is coming from my niece lol.

Angelmiracle · 22/07/2018 17:05

@Jadeelx I had bad diarrhoea with DS - it did eventually pass. Midwife thought I was lucky to have it and not m/s. Although don't get dehydrated!

DS is only grandchild on my side. But DSIS due at end of year I'm guessing girl for her. Actually feel like this one is a girl too! DH side is 2-2 boys and girls.

mostimproved · 22/07/2018 17:10

Another boy heavy family here as well! I have three brothers and DP has one brother, and we have a DS who desperately wants a brother. I want to find out what we are having but might keep it a secret from family until the baby actually arrives.

gizmosslave · 22/07/2018 17:12

Hi everyone, got my bfp today! Very excited!

Olivia2019 · 22/07/2018 17:44

I meant 2.10 cm not 2.2 cm

frenchgal · 22/07/2018 18:01

@Olivia2019 hey welcome !
Also due on 26th Feb and also 31yo.

You must feel so happy after the scan. I felt so emotional when I heard the heartbeat at 7 weeks.

TheOneWithTheBaby · 22/07/2018 18:02

Can i join please? It's very early days for me, estimated date seems to be 25.3.19.

It's our first, so we're excited and absolutely terrified at the same time.

It still doesn't feel real and I'm knocked spotfing all the time, worried it might not work out. This is not doing much for my anxiety Confused

Wineandchoccy · 22/07/2018 18:02

Congratulations gizmosslave
What are your stats age, due date, location etc

Wineandchoccy · 22/07/2018 18:04
