ALRM oh no I can’t sit backwards when not pregnant so I feel your pain.
I think it’s taken me by surprise because I had no symptoms with dd I feel so rough and 3 yr old dd just wants to play and I want to sleep

Bas27 · 21/07/2018 09:05

@Angelmiracle they thought it might be ectopic at first because of the pain! I'll take any uti over that! Apparently they're quite common.

Well ladies, at my very early 4+5 I've had my first major symptoms. Although, reading back through the first thread I see that a few of you were struggling to sleep early morning! I've had that for a little while but wasn't counting it as a symptom.

I was very nauseous and a little sick this morning.
Then cried when DH wouldn't get out of bed (6:50 on a Saturday) to help me walk the dogs before it gets too hot.
I was looking at my boy Finley's happy little face (attached) and felt heart broken.
DH does love me though because when I started crying he realised I was in a bit of a state and got up!

Aww @Bas27 he’s adorable! I also have a furry baby, and really not sure how he’s going to take to the new arrival in March! I’m worried he’s going to feel forgotten about 😕

@Peonylover I feel your frustration! I finally heard from the midwives yesterday & have been given my booking in appointment for 16th August, when I’ll be a whopping 11+4!? Seems really late to me! They did say the scan will be pre booked for the week after, so fingers crossed!

Wineandchoccy · 21/07/2018 09:34

Bas27 how adorable is your dog Grin

Bas27 · 21/07/2018 10:47

@puravida31 and @Wineandchoccy I think he's adorable! ❤️ he's my good boy! Had him since a pup and he's now 4. Got a little girlie of the same breed called Lumi and she's such trouble! I'm a bit worried about how they're going to be with a baby too but Samoyeds are natural nanny dogs so I'm trying not to be worried!
This video will make anyone smile if they like dogs and babies!
(If the link works!)

I realised as well I never gave my stats!

Baby number 1 (I am so hopeful it will be sticky) 🎉
Live in Nottingham. Any others?

Told my parents and bestie and telling mil and fil today! Going for lunch with them and sil and bil.
It's very early at 4+5 and I don't want to jinx it but at the same time DH would want to tell them if mc. He's also too excited to hold it in. He went round for a cup of tea last week and nearly blabbed. They've just come back from a holiday in Iceland and bought us a big expensive bottle of vodka. They told him not to let me drink it by myself!!! (They jest.. mostly)

Angelmiracle · 21/07/2018 10:59

@Bas27 oh how scary so glad it's uti! Finley is absolutely beautiful 😍 My parents have a golden retriever we lived with them 5 years when I was pregnant with DS. Brought a teddy to hospital put it in baby's cot and brought it home for him! He was so good with DS around loved licking the baby's feet 😂😊 They are best friends now.

Ah what a cute pup. I also have a furry first born and he is a brilliant big bro. He was a little jealous at first and often tried to sit in between me and the baby but he loves him now. He also loves all the extra food at mealtimes, we had to put him on diet dog food for a while!

BadBadBeans · 21/07/2018 14:05

Thanks for sharing your bloating experiences! So it looks like it's quite different for different people, but at least I know I'm not the only one! I'm going to avoid gassy drinks for a while I think as I'm sure it was the lemonade that started it off...

@Angelmiracle nice to see you here!

LOVE all the scan pics.

Wacky dreams are continuing in full force chez Beans. Last night's involved a lion, a missed aeroplane flight, and a large piece of fried fish. All ridiculously vivid. Other than that I have no symptoms. Trying not to freak and reminding myself that my symptoms came later with DS as well! My cheap pregnancy tests are now showing a very dark line, just as you all said they would at 5 weeks!

Angelmiracle · 21/07/2018 14:26

Good to be part of the Marchers with you @Badbadbeans 😄

DH woke me up grinding my teeth the other morning!!

Mild cramping now had bit of white stringy CM it was weird 🙈 Think I was ott tidying up today. Any excuse to rest!

HidCat · 21/07/2018 16:28

@Bas27 your OH sounds like a good 'un. And what a gorgeous pooch!

@BadBadBeans seconding the irritability here lol. Hubby seems to be getting the message that I am not to be wound up though.

Feeling properly tired at 6+2. I've not been sleeping all that well so hopefully that will improve soon.

SquirtlesMumAgain · 21/07/2018 17:14

Same here @hidcat - just want to go to sleep and feeling generally queezy all day. Spent most of last night on DS's floor which didn't help!

Bas27 · 21/07/2018 18:36

Thanks @HidCat @Shampooeeee and @Angelmiracle!

DannyWallace · 21/07/2018 18:55

Hi all,
Hope I'm ok to join here.
Had my BFP a few weeks ago and I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. Eeek!
Been feeling sooooo sick, but ultimately ok (being outdoors a lot helps!)
The only not ideal thing that's happened-me and DH actually stopped TTC for a few months. I got offered a new job but it might be a few weeks until I start, and I quit my last job before I found out (hated it!). So now I'm unemployed and will be starting my new job (hopefully!) pregnant! Argh!
But....it's all still so lovely ❤️. Fingers crossed everything sticks xx

MistakenHoliday · 21/07/2018 19:01

Welcome @DannyWallace !

It's reassuring that everyone feels so queasy and sick - I feel like I've had a a hangover for about two weeks now (8+3 today) and haven't yet figured out what to do to help it pass!

Jenlou1992 · 21/07/2018 19:07

Hi hope everyone is well!

Just wondered if we can eat prawns ? I have read somewhere that we can . Wanted to have some tonight .

Also does anyone do any exercise or keep fit things ? I have the national three peaks challenge on the 14th August . Just praying I'm not going to be sick 😣
X

Marmite2018 · 21/07/2018 19:15

Welcome @DannyWallace!

@Jenlou1992 I have attempted to but have felt so nauseas that it's pretty much impossible! I went for a morning run (pre breakfast) a week or so ago and nearly puked it was a big mistake. I have been playing netball when I've felt good but it's hard. How many weeks will you be by then? I think as long as you feel good in yourself you'll be fine!!!!

Murphyrocks · 21/07/2018 19:38

@Jenlou1992 yes prawns are fine as long as they're cooked (and why would you eat prawns raw?!) so go for it! Exercise wise I haven't managed anything more than light walking but 3 peaks sounds most impressive!

Congrats @Dannywallace! I'm in a similar position, started a new job 3 months ago on a 6 month probation and now nearly 8 weeks pregnant. My employers are lovely but wouldn't be surprised if I find myself jobless before this baby arrives 😔 But not stopping me being happy!

DannyWallace · 21/07/2018 20:10

Ooh good luck @Murphyrocks -I hope it all works out for you!!

I'm normally pretty fit, but I've struggled a lot these past few weeks. I still walk my dogs a lot, and have been on a few hikes (including one Munro!) but I've not managed any running/cycling or gym work. Gutted as I really enjoy it so I'll be starting again as soon as I feel up to it

Nightmanagerfan · 21/07/2018 23:35

Hello all. Joining with varying degrees of emotion after termination for medical reasons at 14 weeks in April. Just got my BFP.

Nice to see a few familiar usernames - hi @badbadbeans !

About me:

EDD: 19.03.19
London

Zero symptoms so far - boobs totally normal sized which was not the case last time!

Wineandchoccy · 22/07/2018 06:36

Nightmanagerfan welcome I hope you have a sticky bean without any problems this time.
I had no symptoms with my dd so don’t worry that you haven’t had any this time

Wineandchoccy · 22/07/2018 06:38

Dd has just got in our bed for a cuddle her wriggling and hot little body isn’t helping my morning sickness Sad

BadBadBeans · 22/07/2018 06:48

Ooo @Nightmanagerfan hello and congratulations! I was just thinking about you last night and wondering how you were getting on. Picklesandpies is pregnant again too, but mich further on - she must be nearly 12 weeks now. My due date is 23.3.19 so we are very close together this time round. Fingers crossed for both of us my lovely x

hamandpease · 22/07/2018 07:59

Hope everyone's feeling good today!

I am sick like clock work now in the morning and nauseous for the rest of the day Angry

MistakenHoliday · 22/07/2018 08:02

Similar here @hamandpease I do remember it stopping though last time (to be replaced by heartburn) so I'm holding out some hope!

@Wineandchoccy I've got a wriggling DD in bed with me too - not helping at all! We're at the in laws for the weekend and everyone - but me! - had a VERY late night last night. DD and I may sneak out for a secret McDonald's if no one gets up in the next hour or so...
