Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

@bluebeee I’m glad you managed to get through to your GP, fingers crossed they get back to you soon! I’m a sister but work on an elderly care ward so no clue about anything pregnancy related!!! I’m keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼

Alicejj8x · 06/07/2018 18:40

@Notquiteagandt

They haven't done bloods for her no.. they just are referring her to EPU Monday for another scan and then maybe bloods depending what they can see.

They did put on her notes could be a PUL ( preg of unknown location) or even blighted ovum ...
Bless her it's just so hard and where I'm 6-7 weeks preg too I just feel extra sad for her coz atm everything is fine for me and now I don't want to talk about my pregnancy to her if you get me even thou she's asking I just feel bad.
X

Alicejj8x · 06/07/2018 18:41

@MrsY87 thank you I shall let you no x

Notquiteagandt · 06/07/2018 18:44

@Alicejj8x I was there the other week. In same posisition of unknown. My best friend is a week ahead of me. I knew it was making her feel bit uncomfortable talking about things.

But I told her for me what will be will be.I am still over the moon for her and to not hold back talking about things. As I didnt want my misery to effect her joy.

If you stop talking about things point blank it may make her feel bit akward. But obviously be sensitive and you know your friend best.

Alicejj8x · 06/07/2018 18:46

@Notquiteagandt
Thank you & your defo right.

I'll see how it goes and then see what comments I'll add in bless it's very hard I just hope she gets the news she wants.

Then next Wednesday I am in for my scan just guna be a scary week

somethingfromnothing · 06/07/2018 18:59

Hello just marking my place. 8 weeks today and feeling very tired. Just back from Center parcs which was great but probably why I’m so tired. Definitely not a relaxing holiday. Hope all those that are suffering from bleeding get answers soon. I’ve been in that position and the waiting is awful.

Lookingforadvice123 · 06/07/2018 19:02

powkin that's a bit annoying, your EDD is only a day before mine so aren't you almost 7 weeks? I've got a private scan booked for Tuesday when I'll be 7 weeks exactly. They do offer internals if they can't get a good abdominal view though...

Was yours at a normal hospital or private?

powkin · 06/07/2018 19:23

@Lookingforadvice123 he started saying 5 and then he wrote 6 on the letter, so I guess it’s all about right, in theory I’ll be 7 weeks on Monday. I think it’s sort of impossible to tell until the 12 week point.
My scan was at an NHS hospital, I’ve had previous MMC and had some right sided pain AND have a genetic condition so GP was being cautious re:ectopic. It put my mind at rest about that at least.

Lookingforadvice123 · 06/07/2018 19:59

That's good powkin, what a relief to see the heartbeat xx

I'm a bit apprehensive about mine on Tues as I'll only be 7 weeks exactly, I had an earlier scan with my DS but I was 8 weeks and they were easily able to measure him, it was spot on give or take a day or two. From what I've read on here it's clearly much harder earlier on.

chocpop · 06/07/2018 21:10

I'm really jealous of everyone who's had an early scan. I feel like everything's taking forever here (I'm 10w and only seeing a midwife next week for the first time next week, no idea when my first scan will be). I just really want to know if everything's okay with the baby at this point.

I don't want to spend a fortune on private scans and was hoping only splurge on one (get an earlier gender one rather than waiting until 20 weeks). I suppose there's no point getting stressed over it, though.

Babybeany · 06/07/2018 21:20

@chocpop same here! We really want to wait for the 12 week scan too. It’ll be sooo exciting to see baby at that size for the first look. But I am still so envious of all the early scans! X

Notquiteagandt · 06/07/2018 21:22

@chocpop I have been under the epu now for 2 differant issues I am still not seeing my midwife until im about 11 weeks with scan a few days after. So dont think it is uncommon. But I feel you in it feeling like the longest wait ever.

Everyone I moan to about it though (family/friends etc.) Just laughs and says wait until the week before my E.D.D. then ill know the meaning of time dragging 😂😂

clairehr · 06/07/2018 21:32

Sat here comparing my scans, only a week apart, and dwelling on how amazing this thing we're doing is! There is LIFE inside us ladies 😍

jeanzbeanz · 06/07/2018 22:04

Aww that's amazing @clairehr!!
I've just eaten many many strawberries and beginning to regret it already 🤢 man they were good though

Yakadee · 06/07/2018 22:06

@clairehr - that's so cute! It really is amazing x

hayleyfx · 06/07/2018 22:06

Thank you all so much! It was amazing. I’m just totally in love ❤️

@powkin congrats! Great that you saw the heartbeat 😊

Hope everyone is doing well!

Yakadee · 06/07/2018 22:25

I'm so happy for all you ladies, it's so exciting! Can't wait for mine on 23rd! 😊

hayley013 · 06/07/2018 22:29

Aww @hayleyfx what a fab photo!

Hope you ladies are all doing well, I'm really feeling the salt and vinegar thing too, McCoy's crisps especially, so good, takes my nausea away.

Hope those feeling anxious atm get some good news to reassure you xx

Koalatom1 · 07/07/2018 06:32

Yes!! I was so sad when Work had run out of salt and vinegar McCoy’s. Ready salted didn’t cut it lol

1stTimeTina · 07/07/2018 07:50

Hiii I’ve been reading the thread for a week or so and thought I would finally join in 😊 I’m 8 weeks + 1 , EDD 15th Feb and it’s my first! I had an early scan a couple of weeks ago and thankfully we saw the flicker but he said I was a week behind. Midwife appointment next week. The nausea and exhaustion is REAL, I mean, like nothing I imagined it to be! Went to the docs for some medication, it took away the sickness but increased the tiredness ten fold! Supposed to be baking a baby shower cake this morning for a friend ... I can’t think of anything worse! (Vom) on the up side, the hubby has been golden! So understanding and practically waiting on me hand & foot ( I feel this may wear thin soon ha). It’s so nice just to be able to read all of your comments and relate because we haven’t really told anyone so it’s all just bubbling up inside!
Oh for the nausea I find ready salted crisps . Cheese strings and sherbet lemons for the win! X

twiglet · 07/07/2018 08:20

Struggling this morning we told some friends last night and I went for a 2 hour nap! One doesn't like children so was trying to take the piss about the nap DH was very good jumped straight in with I'm growing a human its normal and I can have as many naps as I like it shut her up quickly.
DH got a book out of the library called commando dad which is very to the point and explains each trimester in guy language. He was good before but now he is being amazing with understanding and knows I can't always explain how rubbish I'm feeling. Can definitely recommend it as a spouse reading material!

bubblybrit · 07/07/2018 08:42

👋@1stTimeTina. I’m also 8 + 1 today with EDD 15th Feb. Had first midwife appointment yesterday although private scan isn’t booked for another 2 weeks. The time is just dragging in. Would love to know that everything is ok with baby!

Alicejj8x · 07/07/2018 08:56

Oh nausea where have you gone!!!

Since2016 · 07/07/2018 09:42

@Bluebeee did you get checked out?

My bleeding has increased - horribly stressful. I know baby is fine and it's this horrible haematoma but I hate all this bleeding. Seeing MW on Monday and will be pushing for some regular additional monitoring while the bleeding continues.

Does anyone else have any experiences of sch? I had one with DD but only bled once and it was gone by the 12w scan.

Babybeany · 07/07/2018 09:46

Welcome aboard @1stTimeTina 💖

Morning mummies! How is everyone feeling today? I’m 7+5 today and can’t wait to reach 8 weeks! Every week seems like an achievement. How are people’s hunger symptoms? Obvs some of us are struggling with food due to sickness etc. I’m not really getting much nausea and I haven’t even retched let alone vomited. However, I seem to be struggling to find an appetite. Breakfast makes me feel a bit icky and lunch is ok. But when it comes to my evening meal I’m just not really interested. Is anyone else having this? Any advice? I exercise most days... 😕 x
