Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

Does anyone have slight abdominal cramping. Not bad and no bleeding etc. Just like twinges I can feel which sometimes make me feel like I need a wee.

I ha da little search and it says my uterus could be stretching.

Normal?

Wellthisunexpected · 18/07/2018 12:16

Baby160P yeah I get that. Got is last time too, perfectly normal.

hayley013 · 18/07/2018 12:26

Yeah I'm getting it a lot @Baby160P especially at night!

@MrsY87 my dd keeps asking for a baby too! I swear she senses something haha xx

Alicejj8x · 18/07/2018 12:32

@Baby160P posted this exact same thing last night

I was freaking out so bad and bad mu scan today and everything was perfect I asked the lady to and she said it's Totally normal everything is pulling and stretching ready for baby

DragonFlew · 18/07/2018 12:32

@hayley013 @MrsY87 DS2 kept randomly laying on my tummy even before my BFP! I'm sure they sense something.

A few months ago DS1 kept saying he wanted another little brother or sister because he didn't like DS2! Haha!

This tread moves so fast. What a chatty bunch Grin I'll try better to keep up!

@Baby160P totally normal! Our bodies are doing some crazy stretching at the moment!

@bubblybrit did you make it in to the office?

DD is teething. Lord help me. She's so cranky and needy and I just don't have the energy so have mostly been cuddling her on the sofa watching In The Night Garden and baby sensory videos on YouTube. Sometimes she gets in to Peppa Pig and at least I can semi-enjoy those.

I'm still part of the Nausea Club. Feeling sick everyday and still most things smell to me 🤮 Feels like I will never feel normal again!

Baby160P · 18/07/2018 13:20

Thanks everyone! Glad of the reassurance as usual ❤️

bubblybrit · 18/07/2018 13:39

@emoji. I literally made it into the office, completed the piece of work which had a deadline and came home. Currently on the sofa feeling very sorry for myself! I’m sorry that you aren’t feeling great. Must be really difficult when you have other children to look after x

jeanzbeanz · 18/07/2018 14:28

@MrsY87 spoke to the midwife this afternoon, and she said she's going to check my blood test results again, but I think I would have heard by now if I had an iron deficiency? It's nearly four weeks since I had the blood test at my booking in appointment.

@Wames90 @seafoodeatit you were both right that I should have spoken to a GP rather than the MW! She basically just said well you are 11 wks now and most women start to feel better around 12/13 weeks so hopefully this exhaustion will pass but in the meantime just sleep as much as you can and try to keep eating normally. I guess midwives are so used to hearing women say "I'm tired / I feel sick".

I might see if I can get a telephone appointment with the GP but I'm nervous that they will tell me to reduce / stop the cyclizine (says on the box that it might cause drowsiness) and it has made a huge difference to the nausea. Although the last couple of days I've been feeling sick again so maybe it would be better to try something else? Just scared how bad I'll feel if I stop taking it 😭

I am pretty sure I have really low blood pressure (it always is low anyway and since getting pregnant I've been so dizzy and black out a few times a day) but as far as I'm aware Drs don't do anything about it anyway?

I feel like such a moaner so here's some Good news - I had a shower this morning for the first time since Friday (very ashamed to admit that!) and managed to strip the bed and put it in the wash - feel like I should get a medal for so much effort!!

And last night my dad commented that he thought I was more like myself again, not sure what made him think that but maybe he can see something I can't 😊

11+2 today and reeeally hoping the end of the first trimester will bring better days!

jeanzbeanz · 18/07/2018 14:33

@Since2016 your day sounds absolutely nightmarish. Wish I could say something more helpful / consoling but all I can say is I know how you feel and you're not alone!! Hang in there!

jeanzbeanz · 18/07/2018 15:05

Ooh I'm eating Heinz cream of chicken soup and actually really enjoying it! I think because it's quite salty (especially once I added a grind of salt and pepper) and warm it's really satisfying. And tastes just like it should do (unlike so many other foods which now taste totally different to how they did pre-pregnancy)

Koalatom1 · 18/07/2018 15:22

Sickness bug + morning sickness is so bad.

Finally feeling actually hungry so may go get something nice and filling to eat!

as for the abdominal pain, it’ll most likely be round ligament pain. It’s the worst!!!

Alicejj8x · 18/07/2018 15:37

Anyone know how the Ramzi theory works?

1stTimeTina · 18/07/2018 15:40

@since2016 that sounds awful! Poor thing! Get home and rest up , I’ve been working from home this week as I can’t bare the commute! It’s still been rough but being able to nap at lunch is a dream! I hope you’re feeling better soon x

Wames90 · 18/07/2018 16:01

@jeanzbeanz it’s so frustrating that it’s “normal” to feel so crappy! Hopefully you can get a telephone appointment with the GP. There are so many other anti sickness options out there that can tackle the sickness and not wipe out all of your energy so maybe it would be better if they swapped you to a different one. Sounds like you’ve had a more productive day too so that’s good! Hopefully now that the first trimester is coming to and end so will feeling rubbish! Mine seems to be doing the opposite - I’m 11 + 5 and being so much more sick than before! I’m sure it’s ripping my oesophagus out one shred at a time because there was a nice bit of blood in last nights vomit and my throat is in agony! I’m glad to hear the soup is going down well too! Salty foods definitely seem the way forwards!

hayleyfx · 18/07/2018 16:10

@hayley013 thank you! I know what you mean, every week feels like a milestone 😊

@Alicejj8x congrats. Amazing news, hopefully you can relax a little now. It’s incredible seeing bub wriggle around isn’t it 😍

Is anybody else really dizzy? I’m 11+1 and constantly feel like I’m going to faint today!

Since2016 · 18/07/2018 16:22

@jeanzbeanz @1stTimeTina thank you - really hoping my commute home is better. Thanks for making me feel less like I'm whingy I'm just a bit fed up.

@Leonora94 me too. Im also knackered which isn't helping! I was in a super busy operational role last pregnancy so never had the chance to sit back but this time I'm just distracted and distance - stress I think!

AliceRR · 18/07/2018 16:46

@hayleyfx I was feeling a bit dizzy and lightheaded early. I’ve had a few instances of seeing “stars” in the last couple of weeks too. Feel mostly ok today though!

I am 10+2 and have felt a lot better this week apart from throwing up yesterday morning (but felt better for having done so!)

jeanzbeanz · 18/07/2018 16:54

@Alicejj8x never heard of Ramzi theory, enlighten us?

Alicejj8x · 18/07/2018 16:55

@hayleyfx it really is crazy seeing them move and makes you think like wow your actually inside of me lol

Alicejj8x · 18/07/2018 16:56

@jeanzbeanz
www.thegenderexperts.com/ramzi-theory/

So this is the theory explained its basically how your baby is positioned it can like work out if its girl or boy lol

DragonFlew · 18/07/2018 17:02

@Alicejj8x I've never heard of this. What does it say you're expecting?

Fiep · 18/07/2018 17:33

Aw @jeanzbeanz and @Since2016 I really feel for you. Sending you supportive vibes xx

jeanzbeanz · 18/07/2018 17:35

Never heard of it either, and am not planning on finding out whether my baby is a boy or a girl, so I'm not going to try and get my head around it! I'd never be able to keep the gender a secret and I wouldn't want to tell people ahead of the birth. Not sure why really? Just wouldn't be comfortable with it personally!

MrsY87 · 18/07/2018 17:51

@jeanzbeanz we didn't find out with DD or DS and we were definitely in the minority! This time I'm more tempted to find out as its twins but I think that's only because I feel like twins was a big enough surprise!
