Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

@hayley013 I've been using sudocrem too, it's the only thing I'm confident in ok using so far!

@Lookingforadvice123 My symptoms have come and gone pretty drastically throughout the last few weeks. I tend to get a couple of days feeling ok and then a week of feeling rough. It's unsettling every time, but midwife has said it's just where the waves of hormones peak and ebb so completely natural.

jeanzbeanz · 16/07/2018 18:17

@clairehr yes my skin is terrible. I think it's because I'm not washing my face as often / well as I used to as well. So many little pimples and blackheads😣

Wellthisunexpected · 16/07/2018 18:18

@lookingforadvice123 we must have been on that thread together, as I had my DS in Jan 2016 too.

I'll add myself to the list.

I thought my symptoms were going, but yesterday and today I've had awful headaches and nausea.

Scan is a week Thursday. Can't wait, but also terrified they will find something wrong.

clairehr · 16/07/2018 18:18

@jeanzbeanz I'm so glad it's not just me! I used to love a good face scrub once a week, but the one I use has salicylic acid in so stopped and no idea what to replace it with 😂

Wellthisunexpected · 16/07/2018 18:19

My skin is awful was with DS though, it's just the hormones.

Thank you for the welcome Clairehr! :)
Feeling ok but quite a lot of nausea these last couple of days. Earlier had to fight back an actual retch when someone with questionable personal hygiene barged into me at Sainsburys!

The first few weeks were stressful with bleeding and emergency scans etc (suspected ectopic) but baby seems to have settled down a bit (other than making me simultaneously starving for crisps and nauseous!). Got my scan next Wednesday fingerscrossed

Hope everyone else is doing well and excited to get past the dreaded first trimester

Baby160P · 16/07/2018 18:26

We've just got our '12 weeks scan' date through and we will be 14+1!

Anyone else have this?

Notquiteagandt · 16/07/2018 18:34

So I had a scan and saw a very healthy 8w4d baby wiggling away waving its arms about. It was a twin. But twin 1 didnt develop very far. Thats why I have been bleeding.

Reassuring to know that baby is developing well. But a little sad about twin 1.

And also explains my hyperemisis graveram as well.

But a healthy baby is all I ask for. 🤞

Notquiteagandt · 16/07/2018 18:38

@Since2016 so glad all is all. Flowers i cant imagine how scary it must of been.

Since2016 · 16/07/2018 18:38

@Baby160P I had mine at 13+3 with DD - this time it's 11+4. It's 11-14 weeks - the key thing is the nuchal translucency everyone calls it the '12w scan' but it's invariably earlier/ later but I get the frustration.

@Lookingforadvice123 @Wellthisunexpected I was also on the Jan 16 group for my DD did you also graduate to the FB group?!?

Since2016 · 16/07/2018 18:39

@Notquiteagandt so glad baby 1 is ok but devastating re the second. Hugs for you xx

Baby160P · 16/07/2018 18:39

@Notquiteagandt

Happy and sad news at the same time.

So lovely to hear baby is like that. It's mad that we went for a 7 week which was what we described as a 'turtle' and a weeks and a half later it has arm, I'm so fascinated lol.

Baby160P · 16/07/2018 18:42

@Since2016

Ok maybe I'll call tomorrow.

We more want to see everything is ok to tell people the weekend we're going to be 13 weeks as there's lots of parties I can't drink at! Xx

craftymum01 · 16/07/2018 18:43

@Notquiteagandt that must be a huge relief but I understand you being sad. It is still a loss. But so pleased you have a lovely little healthy bean in there

Notquiteagandt · 16/07/2018 18:43

@Baby160P we have now nicknamed this one the crab looks like it has little claws and a shell on its back hahah Grin

Since2016 · 16/07/2018 18:45

@Baby160P maybe tell them you're on holiday the week of the scan and see if they can make it earlier - they'll want to do it within that window!

Katy16 · 16/07/2018 18:46

@Notquiteagandt
So sorry for the loss of your twin. Pleased to hear the other one is fighting fit and wiggling though Smile

Baby160P · 16/07/2018 18:57

@Since2016 good ideas I'll be out of the window as it is. Rather it be 11+5 or something like that!

AliceRR · 16/07/2018 18:59

@lookingforadvice glad it’s not just me! I am a bit sensitive at the moment to be fair...

@clairehr I’m definitely getting spots. Got loads of huge ones in weeks 1-5 (ie mostly before BFP) and then it calmed down a bit and has started again around week 8... To be honest it calmed down when I just used simple face wash morning and night and didn’t mess around with my skin.

@jeanzbeanz congrats!

Wames90 · 16/07/2018 19:00

I’m so pleased to hear baby 1 is okay @notquiteagandt and very sad about baby 2 even if you weren’t aware there were two of them trying to grow in there. Thinking of you ❤️❤️

AliceRR · 16/07/2018 19:02

@notquiteagandt so sorry about the second twin but pleased one is doing well

I’m having on off symptoms too. I’m 10 week’s today and been reading sickness is worse at 10 weeks so worrying slightly about not being more sick but there is still time and I know plenty of people simply weren’t sick during their healthy pregnancies...

craftymum01 · 16/07/2018 19:06

@AliceRR I am 10 weeks tomorrow. I have noticed a slight increase in nausea (from none) but I have a feeling that is down to the heat as well as my horrendous diet

clairehr · 16/07/2018 19:12

@baby160p The scan can be up to 14w+1 according to my letter if you want the NT, so I'd definitely call and say that unfortunately you can't make that day and they'll have to make it earlier for you 😊

@AliceRR Mine all seem to be little spots, and whiteheads which I've never really had before 😔 Is it Simple the brand you use?
