Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

@twiglet such a lovely scan pic! Mines on the 31st and its literally crawling by. Still though can't believe we're all coming up to 12 week scans now so exciting!

hayleyfx · 16/07/2018 15:28

@Notquiteagandt I’m sorry you’re not feeling positive but I have everything crossed for you that your scan goes well. Good luck x

@jeanzbeanz hope it goes perfectly! 🤞

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow so one week until next scan, starting to get nervous again 😬 I’m noticing some new symptoms slowly replacing older ones - restless legs syndrome, more aches and huge increase in sex drive (Tmi sorry haha) while my sickness is calming down now!

hayleyfx · 16/07/2018 15:30

@twiglet how lovely. Such an amazing feeling 😍 hope you start to feel better soon!

twiglet · 16/07/2018 15:36

@hayleyfx your giving me hope of symptoms getting better and being able to have a sex drive again which went out of the window with neasea and dizzyness Wink

AliceRR · 16/07/2018 15:37

I know I can be ranty but I’m feeling a bit ignored...

twiglet · 16/07/2018 15:49

@AliceRR you should get your booking appointment soon fingers crossed. It just takes some time with some bloods and a urine sample. The only difference to having the booking in appointment is so they can explain scans and also downs test.
They can test for downs probability at the scan by measuring the back of the neck. It gives you a high or low risk score and you can then decide if you want further diagnostics if it's high. It doesn't say definitely either way.
You also don't have to have the test. They can only do it from 12 weeks on the scan.

AliceRR · 16/07/2018 16:05

Thanks @twiglet think I need to re-read the booklet they sent about diagnostic tests. Think my approach is I’m for the non-invasive tests and then will make a decision from there.

So after the worst weekend ever - convinced I was miscarrying, scan today at EPU showed baby is fine. Bang on for dates - I'm 8 + 4 . However, the haematoma has gotten larger. A bit gutted because I was hoping it had gone. Just hoping that baby will continue to outgrow it.

They've said to come back if the bleeding starts again. So far I've just had some brown spotting since the mammoth bleed on Friday.

Just going to take each day as it comes. Very grateful baby is ok.

powkin · 16/07/2018 16:15

@Since2016 was literally coming here to ask how you are getting on so really pleased things are well xxx

Got my booking appointment at Homerton on Friday so that feels like a milestone. Does anyone else here have EDS/Hypermobility? I know certain things are going to be an issue, like local anaesthetics not working properly on me, so would be great if anyone has experience to share!

Since2016 · 16/07/2018 16:18

Thanks @powkin I've been a complete wreck all wkend and v fragile today. Thanks for checking in x

No experience I'm afraid - although I have many ailments that's not one of them! Hopefully someone else will have some advice xx

Cheery1 · 16/07/2018 16:24

@Since2016 - that’s such good news! So stressful for you xx

@Leonora - my scan is on 27th, time is dragging so much! It doesn’t seem real yet, even though 11 weeks today.

I’m defo starting show earlier than I did with DS - picture from weekend and I look proper preggo.

Fredthespider · 16/07/2018 16:26

So glad the scan went well for you @Since2016!! That must be such a relief.

I also don’t have much advice on EDS sorry @Powkin, like Since2016 I’ve got a few other problems but that thankfully isn’t one of them!

Cheery1 · 16/07/2018 16:26

@notquiteagandt - Thinking of you xxx

Since2016 · 16/07/2018 16:28

Thinking of those others with scans today. It's a horrible wait xx

Cheery1 · 16/07/2018 16:30

@powkin no experience of ESD - do they have a charity/support service that you could contact? I’m sure a friend who has ESD mentioned getting support from somewhere when she was diagnosed.

jeanzbeanz · 16/07/2018 16:42

Scan went well, baby is measuring 11 wks (which means I have to go back next Thursday for nuchal translucency!). Was lovely to see baby waving its arms and legs and generally looking like it's having a great time! Also pleased that I can put my due date back to 4th Feb (I had estimated 9th, MW thought end of Jan!). 😊

twiglet · 16/07/2018 17:03

That's great news @Since2016 Smile fingers crossed for the haematoma going away

@jeanzbeanz - lovely news! We're now due date twins x

bubblybrit · 16/07/2018 17:50

@Since2016. So glad that everything is ok. Must have been super stressful for you.

clairehr · 16/07/2018 17:57

Congrats to those with successful scans today! Fab news!

@Fiep Welcome! There are a couple of us in here from Cambridgeshire. How are you feeling so far?

Is anyone else getting pregnancy acne or more spots? I wouldn't class mine as acne, but I'm getting some horrible spots all over my face that I'm not used to, but unsure what I'm ok to use in them during pregnancy.

hayley013 · 16/07/2018 18:02

Yeah @clairehr I've had lots of spots, around my chin area. Fingers crossed no new ones in the last week so could have been the peak of hormones, but very annoying. Have just been trying to stick to mild face wash and putting on a little bit of sudocrem before bed, seems to have dried them away a little quicker x

Lookingforadvice123 · 16/07/2018 18:05

AliceRR I feel ignored on this thread too Hmm so much so that don’t really post. I think it’s just a really busy thread, although my Jan 2016 group for DS was too...

To all those whose symptoms come and go, I’ve been fretting about this today. Having felt rough for weeks, at 7+6 I’ve barely felt nauseous today, only a very mild hint this evening. Very unsettling, even though I had a scan last Tuesday and all was good, strong heartbeat at around 160bpm...

craftymum01 · 16/07/2018 18:11

@Lookingforadvice123 and @AliceRR don't feel ignored. I think there are just so many conversations going on on this thread not everyone sees all the messages. It does move quite fast, sometimes it's hard to keep up.

Don't feel too worried about lack of symptoms. I had that last week and went for a scan and all was fine. They do come and go. I just want to get past this first trimester and try and relax a little bit!
