Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

Hi ladies. Not had a good start to the wkend. I woke again overnight with heavy bleeding and passed huge clots (combined palm of hand size). No pain at all but I'm convinced I've miscarried. Hubby is trying to stay positive and says it's probably the haematoma exciting but I don't think so. No bleeding other than spotting since.

Don't suppose anyone has had any experience in previous pregnancies? Nowhere nearby has any availability so will have to wait till Monday for EPU. Just feel numb.

hayley013 · 14/07/2018 10:06

Oh thankyou @Fredthespider something in my head said it was 10-12 weeks, so that's fine. Though we're at a family wedding the weekend before and I doubt I'll be able to hide a small bump so unsure whether to tell family before we go, was going to wait until had a scan photo to show.

@Since2016 sending you lots of love and positive thoughts, is a real shame you aren't able to be seen today, I'll keep fingers crossed it's the haematoma as it could well be ❤️ xxx

Fredthespider · 14/07/2018 10:21

Big hugs @Since2016, I've not got any experience so I'm just crossing my fingers for you x

Baby160P · 14/07/2018 10:26

@Since2016 I hope everything is well.
No experience either but could you call 111 and get seen elsewhere. Where we live hey have Doctors who could see you. They make an appointment through 111. Big hugs. X

Notquiteagandt · 14/07/2018 11:07

@Since2016 hopefully you are fine. I really hope so. But I wouldnt wait until Monday. The hospital will have an on call gynae consultant. So might be worth going to a walk in centre and getting them to sort it sooner for you. They can page them for you. Just if you are heavy bleeding with clots its probs best to get seen sooner. Geberal rule of thumb is anything heavier than a period needs medical attention.

Since2016 · 14/07/2018 11:18

Thanks all. @Notquiteagandt I've only had the one bleeding episode - last night. Since then nothing - just spotting. I know they'll have someone on call, but I'll either have to go alone or bring husband and DD. As I'm no longer bleeding I'm inclined to just wait it out. I don't fancy hours in A&E which is just going to add to my distress. Not sure urgent care can do much either?

fizzledays · 14/07/2018 13:26

Anyone have any ideas for lower back pain? Muscles definitely not happy with me...I've had it before but feels worse now. 8+6 so guessing body just adjusting and changing? So debilitating!!

smellsofelderberries · 14/07/2018 13:46

@Since2016 I had a bleed like that with DD and all was fine. I remember actually looking through the (massive!) clot to make sure it was just blood and I hadn't lost the pregnancy 😣 was horrifying but all okay. Rest up as much as possible xx

smellsofelderberries · 14/07/2018 13:48

@fizzledays I've been using a hot water bottle some evenings (not for too long in one spot though) and stretching really helps. Sleeping with a pillow between my knees has helped massively too, I think it's just supporting my pelvis a lot more to do that.

Since2016 · 14/07/2018 15:00

Thanks @smellsofelderberries that gives some comfort. I've had no bleeding since and no pain. Odd. Trying to not give myself false hope vs. Not give up hope it's Horrendous.

fizzledays · 14/07/2018 15:35

Thank you @smellsofelderberries !! 💗

Cheery1 · 14/07/2018 18:35

@Since2016 I had a mc before my DS and the hospital wouldn’t confirm that it wasn’t just a bleed until they’d done 2 scans and I’d seen a consultant. I’m guessing that’s because lots of women have similar bleeds and go on to have a healthy pregnancy. I also had contractions with the bleed. Anyway, not sure if that helps at all, and the not knowing is so hard. Keeping everything crossed for you xxxx

Lulabell1 · 14/07/2018 20:02

@twiglet my midwife said anything up to 3 coffees a day is fine? Iv got myself down to 1 a day with extra milk and sweetners i cant live without coffee. School run and then working 8.15 till 6pm 5 days a week i need my 1 coffeeHmm. @since2016 i had bleed with this pregnancy at about 7 weeks and it waa quit a bit had a scan and everything wAs ok and nice and healthy it does happen xx

Koalatom1 · 14/07/2018 20:39

I know a few friends who’ve had massive bleeds and it’s been ok. My friend even had a huge one at 25/26 weeks and he was then stubborn and had to be c-sectioned!

I’m currently trying to cool down. Went to goodwood today and just boiled. No more day trips for me!

I bought my first baby item today. Got a lovely snugglesuit for baby to wear in the cold Feb air x

IndiX · 14/07/2018 20:47

Sorry I can't see the full thread but I actually didn't know I was pregnant until about 7 weeks because I'd had a 10 day 'period' and just thought it was body adjusting to my coil being removed. I only took a test because I'd been feeling sick for over a week and was so shocked when the test came back positive. I went to the EPU and they said my little Splodge had a heartbeat and the bleed could've been implantation.
Hope that helps, honestly I think bleeding happens so much more than women or doctors let on tbh.

X

Boobs have been killing me the last few weeks. I’m 7+6 today. Nausea is less but wretching is worse and I’m SO tired. Also on antibiotics which are causing havoc with my digestive system. So bored of feeling like shite and being useless at home! Seeing there’s more hot weather for the next 2 days makes me want to cry!

powkin · 14/07/2018 21:52

@fizzledays I have one of these which I love. Not great in hot weather but the rest of the time it’s my best friend!

AliceRR · 14/07/2018 22:14

@jeanzbeanz it’s the worst isn’t it! Last night I was convinced I was fine so took my FA and then brushed my teeth and the churning! Oh my gosh. Just thinking about brushing my teeth... I’m brushing my teeth at night only as I can’t even bring myself to in the morning. It’s self defeating anyway if you brush and then puke and can’t brush again due to puking! Your teeth are probably worse off!!

Hi everyone, been lurking a while and finding it reassuring reading that others are going through the same!

I am 10 weeks and honestly did not imagine that I would feel this horrendous! Been almost constantly nauseous and sick since week 6. Almost had to cancel our holiday last week as I was throwing up incessantly the night before and on the way to the airport 🤢 Glad we went though as I had some good days when I was away and a really good time overall! I feel so bad for my wife who has been running around after and often looks helplessly on because there is nothing she can do to help. Have already told her she is carrying the next one!!

We have already had a scan at 8 weeks due to this being an IVF baby and everything was looking good, but still anxiously counting down the days until next scan on 30th July...

Lulabell1 · 14/07/2018 22:57

To all those feeling very ill i do think its worse we are in the first trimester in this heat ladies but just push through its all for the best outcome xxxx

IndiX · 15/07/2018 06:58

Is this anyone else's 2nd pregnancy? I feel so crap and it is SO hard with a toddler running about. My husband is away with work for a week aswell so I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Not taking it away from the 1st time mummy's who are feeling terrible too but do take all the time you can to rest because if/when you have a 2nd baby there's no chance for a duvet day on a Sunday!

fizzledays · 15/07/2018 07:02

Oh that's amazing thank you @powkin !!

hayley013 · 15/07/2018 07:25

@IndiX yep I'm feeling it, totally exhausted and 4yo dd literally never stops talking, been that busy using my energy occupying her that the house cleaning has been put aside, last night I had a meltdown that I couldn't do it and the house was awful. Think we put a bit of pressure on ourselves at times, so I've reminded myself she isn't a neglected child 😂 and today will be the day I get this damn house cleaned haha x

MrsY87 · 15/07/2018 07:32

@IndiX this is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm definitely finding it tough looking after our two whilst I'm feeling so rough. DS is still so young that he needs carrying everywhere and he's huge (above the top centile) so he's so heavy and I just don't have the energy! I'm lucky we've been on holiday the past two weeks so DH has been around to help but no idea what I'll do when he's back at work next week!

IndiX · 15/07/2018 07:45

It's so hard isn't it @MrsY87 @hayley013

I have an upset tummy today aswell so I'm scoffing a load of toast as we speak to give me some energy. I just want to feel human again

@MrsY87 my DD is the same, she's 21 months but loves to be picked up ( I'm trying to wean her off this) and she's the height and size of a 3 year old. I can't imagine haven't 2 kids to run after, you must be super woman!

@hayley013 yes! My DD doesn't stop chatting/blabbering all day. I find myself excited for nap time just to have some quiet time Grin
