Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

Thank you. I make it 9+3. They said around 9 as baby was all curled up and they couldn't measure accurately.

I get the night sweats!

twiglet · 13/07/2018 17:38

@jeanzbeanz I've tried 2 out of the 6 Dr's now.
The most annoying thing is that I used to have a repeat prescription for cyclizine for my migraines but that was stopped last year as they had reduced massively.
They have worked in the past for me.

I'm going to see how I do over the weekend I know it's only retching but it's difficult to function at work. I spent 30 minutes on the floor of the disabled toilet retching before I was safe to go back to my desk. Thankfully nobody in my office needs it for medical purposes.

clairehr · 13/07/2018 17:45

Lovely scan @craftymum01 Huge congratulations!

craftymum01 · 13/07/2018 17:51

clairehr · 13/07/2018 18:50

Welcome @sickmumma Happy and healthy pregnancy to you! How are you feeling?

My symptoms seem to have dies down a LOT today. Only very slight nausea and the little cramps have stopped completely. Still exhausted though! Going to make the most of being able to eat, haha!

Baby160P · 13/07/2018 18:53

@sickmumma I'm due 25th Feb! Welcome x

Baby160P · 13/07/2018 18:54

@clairehr that's been me today like I'm sooooo hungry and don't feel sick 🙌🏽

Then OMG I feel so sick 😩🙈

DragonFlew · 13/07/2018 18:57

@sickmumma @baby160p I am due 24th Feb! X

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 13/07/2018 19:40

@eyedontknow I didn’t think m they could diagnose strep B from a urine test? Either way.. it means nothing at this stage, you could test negative for it in late pregnancy. I was tested positive in my last pregnancy, opted for no IV anti b’s as I have a needle phobia (used to be a lot worse) and having a cannula in during labour wouldn’t have been good. I had extra monitoring and it was noted.. everything was fine. So do your research and decide what works best for you.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 13/07/2018 19:42

I think I have every symptom... nausea, sickness, sore boobs, constipation/wind, tiredness, over emotional, hair is falling out... it feels a bit relentless ☹️

I really want the first trimester to be over so that I can feel healthier and safer..!

Tumon · 13/07/2018 20:22

Just catching up now! Re constipation ... 2 table spoons of chia seeds mixed with almond milk (and a Drop of maple syrup as I can’t stomach the taste) quick stir and knock back (I don’t wait for them to go all jelly like) before bed. Been doing this every night for about 6 months (have had this issue since baby #1 and so needed to find a natural way of managing ) and it works a treat. Also I carry a water bottle everywhere and do lots of water , oh and an apple a day!

Anyone else finding their appetite is gone by dinner time? About to tuck into some Mac and cheese now anyway Wink

Hope you’re all doing well x

sickmumma · 13/07/2018 20:27

Aww thanks for the welcome ladies, I'm pretty new to the forum so not 100% how to tag people yet! If you hadn't guessed from my name I am feeling pretty sorry for myself with sickness at the moment! I had to call into work ill on Thursday as I was a complete mess (up until then I had just been feeling sick not actually being sick but I was sick a few times in the morning and felt very dizzy and strange, DH had to take the children to school), I managed to go to work today though so a small victory, just sick once then I didn't eat until lunchtime so although I felt rubbish whilst there I wasn't physically sick and managed to get on with it a bit! I work in a preschool so only have Monday and Tuesday to get through and then I will have 7 weeks off so the timing has been pretty good! I have been quite ill in all of my pregnancies!

I do have sore boobs and extremely tired (I am falling asleep already watching a film haha! ) but compared to the sickness I'll take that anyday! Poor DH doesn't know what to do and keeps checking on me through the day and even the kids are worrying and we haven't told them yet! They told their teachers the other day I was sick it's so hard because it's too early to say anything about the pregnancy yet although I am sure they will guess in the end!

When I saw the doctor I asked for sickness tablets which she gave me a prescription for but said not to use them yet unless I really have to as baby is still forming etc and now I am too worried to take them! Do any of you have medication?

I hope you are all doing well in your pregnancies and aren't struggling too much! I am craving sour things, but am finding I'm trying to eat what I think will be least horrible to throw up! Sorry for the TMI! Xx

AliceRR · 13/07/2018 21:24

Sorry to be gross but I’ve just thrown up what I would say is “properly” for only the second time and both times have been when brushing my teeth at night. It makes my stomach churn! I usually take my FA after brushing teeth for that reason but tonight I didnt!

Anyway I threw up about 15 mins after I’d had my vitamin/ Folic Acid tablet. Would I know if I’d thrown it up? It was mostly liquid I threw up and I didn’t see it. Don’t know whether to take it again tonight or maybe just have one in the morning...

I’m 9+4

Lulabell1 · 13/07/2018 21:28

Hi ladies just reading through and marking my place due 11th feb had my scan feeling very very sick off to DR on wednesday hope i dont feel like this the whole time im away especially with a 4year old. It all feels very strange and different this time was only 17/18 with my last pregnancy!!

Baby160P · 13/07/2018 22:53

@DragonFlew amazing! A few of us then 👶🏻 xx

jeanzbeanz · 13/07/2018 23:15

@sickmumma what were you prescribed? You should just take it! My doctor warned me that the meds I have will say on the box "not suitable for use during pregnancy" but to ignore that. He said that pregnant women have been taking it for decades and there has been no damage to any babies and they consider it absolutely safe to take. - that was Cyclizine.

@AliceRR I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm only brushing my teeth about three times a week at the moment 🙈 it invariably makes me sick too. Am chewing lots of gum to try and keep my mouth as clean as possible!!

Sugarmonkey · 13/07/2018 23:17

Wow I missed a few days and hundreds of messages.
If I'm not feeling sick I'm actually sick. Since week 8 I feel like death walking, hoping things change soon. Love the list btw but it's to long to copy and paste.
I'm 9+5 from south Wales

Baby160P · 14/07/2018 04:28

Anyone got a pain in the ribs? It's keeping me up 😩😩

clairehr · 14/07/2018 05:06

When you're wretching so hard, but trying to keep quiet so you don't wake the step children up, that you pee yourself a little 🙄 no control, doesn't bode well for the rest of the pregnancy does it? 😂

#pregnancyproblems

twiglet · 14/07/2018 07:12

I keep forgetting to do my pelvic floor exercises Blush
Been up since 5.30 with the wretching the noise finally woke hubby at 6.30 I don't know how you can be quiet with it @clairehr I sound worse horrific!
Managed to sip my iced latte drink I don't know why it helps but it does ingredients say 1% coffee it's mostly milk coffee flavour with sweetener but it seems to help settle it down in the morning. Maybe it's the milk part?! It's £1 a day that I'm happy to spend to try and function - even contacted coop so I can get the caffeine content to see if I can have more it helps me so much.

MrsY87 · 14/07/2018 07:27

I keep forgetting to do my pelvic floor too & I really need to do them as I don't think mine has recovered after giving birth to my 9lb 10oz baby 10months ago, plus twins is going to put some serious strain down there! Tena lady may end up being my best friend! Blush

Yakadee · 14/07/2018 08:10

I'm terrible with the pelvic floor exercises, I'll be good for a day then forget for ages! I'm so lucky I don't have any issues after DS1!

Today I have woken up feeling totally like myself (minus the killer boobs) - I think I should be excited? I'm 10+5 so hopefully this is stuff just taking over.

I feel so sorry for you guys suffering with sickness / nausea - it's the worst! Xx

hayley013 · 14/07/2018 09:29

Morning, I've just received my scan appt, i will be 13+1 on that date, is this ok for the tests they do at this stage? X

Fredthespider · 14/07/2018 09:32

My leaflet says 11+2 to 14+1 so it should be ok (although I'm sure you'd have preferred it earlier!)
