Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

February 2019 part 3
Baby160P · 11/07/2018 23:20

@preggoagainwithnumber3 how many weeks are you?

preggoagainwithnumber3 · 11/07/2018 23:22

Went to early pregnancy clinic today. Dates say I'm 7 weeks, going by LMP. Dr reckoned baby measured 6+4, which he was happy about. Heartbeat seen on scan.
However, Dr showed me haematoma on my womb, likely cause of blood loss (but made no mention of reference to pain, and I forgot to ask). He said they normally dissolve and go away themselves. They will re-scan me in a week's time to check it has started to shrink. Not sure what will be done (maybe just continue to rescan) if it hasn't, as Dr said miscarriage may occur if it doesn't resolve itself.

smellsofelderberries · 12/07/2018 03:53

@preggoagainwithnumber3 I had a haematoma with my DD and a much smaller one with this pregnancy. Both fine. The only reason it might cause issues is if it's formed behind where the placenta is attaching, or it's absolutely massive. Mostly they're nothing at all to worry about, just annoying having the bleeding!

DD is really putting it on with the toddler tantrums right now. I hope she's getting it all out of her system before I get massive! Also, count me in with the group who'd already looking porky showing. Just bought some new mat jeans at the weekend 🙈

MrsY87 · 12/07/2018 06:27

I've had a bit more spotting this morning, it's not much and it's fairly brown looking but it's causing me to panic. Were on holiday til Monday so not sure whether to try and see someone here or call the epu at home and hope they can book me in for Tuesday. I want to know what's going on but at the same time if it is the start of a mc then I know there's nothing they can do anyway. 😞My anxiety in early pregnancy is bad enough without spotting 😞

Susannach · 12/07/2018 07:16

@MrsY87 Good to see you here and so many congrats on the double bundle! Flowers If I were you I’d try to see someone there if you can, otherwise you’re just going to ruin your holiday worrying about it. Spotting is such a common symptom though; try not to panic, though I know that’s so much easier said than done!

Hi everyone, I’m a bit late but hoping I can join you all? Will try and catch up on the thread when I have a minute.

Susannach
Age 25
DC3
Officially due 2nd Feb (by LMP) but I think more likely 20-25th Feb

I’m feeling rough, but overall better than with my previous two babies. No actual sickness yet, just constant queasiness all day. I think I’m about 8w at the moment, but dates are all over the place because of a wacky post-BF cycle.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

clairehr · 12/07/2018 07:35

@MrsY87 I'd probably call your midwife and see what they suggest, brown is normally old blood so hopefully nothing to worry about!

@Susannach Welcome! And congrats! A happy and healthy pregnancy to you 😊

Is anyone else experiencing night sweats? I had it right at the beginning, and then it subsided, but last night was horrendous!

DragonFlew · 12/07/2018 07:40

@clairehr yes!! Sweats and chills - it was really bad the night before last. I read it cam be caused because of all the hormonal changes, low bp or being over tired.

Leonora94 · 12/07/2018 07:53

Just teared up over breakfast that England lost...I don’t even follow football...or have any interest in it. Just felt bad for them as they tried hard. What a funny 7 more months this is going be 😂

MrsY87 · 12/07/2018 08:18

@Susannach good to see you on here too! Thanks! Twins certainly wasn't expected and it's still early days but now I've got my head around it I'll be devastated if it doesn't end up being twins and the spotting isn't helping.

Thanks @clairehr Think I'm going to give my local EPU a call and see what they say, I keep telling myself that brown blood isn't necessarily a bad thing plus I'm still feeling pretty rubbish. Also going see if I can get an appointment here although worried that bad news might ruin our holiday more than not knowing plus there will be a language barrier to contend with...I can order myself a sparkling water in Spanish but not sure I could explain spotting in pregnancy, twins etc or understand what they tell me!

Agghh early pregnancy is such a nerve wracking time. The only times I've ever bled in early pregnancy have ended in mc which probably doesn't help my state of mind.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 12/07/2018 08:21

Ugh! Envy So sick this morning. I barely made it to the bathroom. I heaved that much that my ribs are killing me now Sad

LookingAtTheStars89 · 12/07/2018 08:22

@MrsY87. Why Don't you try and Google some English speaking places?

MrsY87 · 12/07/2018 08:23

@LookingAtTheStars89 oh yes good idea...can you tell I'm not really awake yet this morning?!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 12/07/2018 08:25

@DragonFlew. I have had the chills on and off since I got my BFP. My midwife said that sometimes the air around you feels cooler when your internal temp goes up - like when you get a cold you wrap up in a blanket even though you're boiling lol.

@Leonora94. I cried at Beauty and the Beast yesterday 😂

@bubblybrit. How are you doing?

ronniemipperton · 12/07/2018 08:25

@MrsY87 hope you’re able to get some reassurance from your EPU and enjoy the rest of your holiday. Remember all the people who post about spotting throughout pregnancy and now they have bouncing babies 👶

Does anyone else who has cats find them particularly interested in sleeping on your belly at the moment? I guess our bellies must be warmer than usual?! I couldn’t get mine off me last night, I kept getting up to pee and she’d be right back on me as soon as I got back into bed Grin

Yakadee · 12/07/2018 08:25

Has anyone else still got REALLY sore boobs? I'm 10+3 and don't remember it being so painful for this long (although remember it coming back in 3rd!) xx

bubblybrit · 12/07/2018 08:25

Is it wrong that I’m a little jealous of those that are nauseous with or without sickness? I’ve got plenty of other symptoms - sore boobs, bloating, cramping, peeing a lot - but very little nausea and no sickness whatsoever! This is my first but always associated that with being pregnant so it worries me that it’s missing.....my mum did say that she was never sick with me though so holding on to that thought!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 12/07/2018 08:26

@MrsY87. I'm still sat trying to pick myself up after the voms lol. I'm never really mentally awake until 10am 😂

LookingAtTheStars89 · 12/07/2018 08:27

@bubblybrit. 😂 I literally just tagged you!

ronniemipperton · 12/07/2018 08:32

@bubblybrit I know what you mean, I’ve had one day of nausea and that’s it. I feel like it’s pretty common not to have it though, so I reckon we should just be quietly smug about it (unless there’s another reason to be concerned of course - I am quite good at coming up with other reasons to worry so don’t feel I’ve been as smug as I could be!)

Tumon · 12/07/2018 08:37

Hi again! Missed a lot of the chat ...had a tummy bug which was not fun at all but over it now thankfully!

Think the exhaustion is kind of lifting slgiggly. @bubblybrit don’t worry about the no nausea ...I haven’t had any with this pregnancy nor my first. Just very sleepy! @yakadee sore boobs here too! Hard to sleep on my front now (which I love and had been enjoying as I know won’t last forever!)

My issue right now is that I’m only craving awful unhealthy foods. I usually eat well but just have no interest at all in healthy food. Think bread with lashings of butter, chips. I actually bought potato waffles for the first time ever and ate with grated cheese for dinner!!

5Makes9 · 12/07/2018 08:51

I'm the same @Tumon
I was managing on toast with butter and mashed potato and then I went off that as well and all I could face was Ginster's pasties 🤣 and McDonald's fries.

It's shifted a bit now and I've been eating French onion soup for a couple of days, so that's one vegetable at least 😄

Tumon · 12/07/2018 09:04

@5makes9 ....French onion soup sounds delicious!! I’ll be thinking about it all day. I did have a veggie /fruit smoothie this morning that my husband made and it went down ok. But It was handed to me to be fair. I think this happened with baby number one but I can’t fully remember. He came out healthy and is flying it so I’m sure we’ll be fine. If energy levels lift in second trimester I might be more interested in cooking!

So have most ppl on here gotten a private early scan? I haven’t but did think about it. Only 3 weeks until actual scan tho

Yakadee · 12/07/2018 09:05

@Tumon - I totally get what you mean about good. It's all sandwiches, crisps and biscuits at the moment! I try squeeze some veg in in the evening if I'm feeling OK - it still just does not float my boat! X

Since2016 · 12/07/2018 09:14

@preggoagainwithnumber3 I also have a haematoma. Lots of bleeding this time - I've been pretty much bleeding now off and on since Friday - spotting and when I wipe. However I've had 3 scans in the last 2 weeks and everything is fine.

They said if it's small then it's usually fine and even women with large ones go on to have successful pregnancies I had one with DD too but less bleeding. The bleeding is awful but have to normalise it otherwise I'll go insane.
