Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

@DryIce my fertility consultant is the head of the NHS fertility dept at the Homerton and he advised me to go there with my daughter. I had the same midwife for every appointment and when it came to the birth I had one of the big suites with the pool etc. It was brilliant. You should visit both and do the journey and see which you prefer

Bluebeee · 09/07/2018 18:59

I'm out unfortunately. Had clots on Friday and been bleeding since. Went to the EPU today and have miscarried. Wishing you all the absolute best with your pregnancies and little squishes xx

@Bluebeee I'm really sorry. All the best x

bubblybrit · 09/07/2018 19:26

@bluebeee. So sorry to hear this. Thinking about you and @kintan at this awful time xx

Fredthespider · 09/07/2018 19:36

@kintan and @bluebeee huge hugs from me, I'm so sorry to hear about your losses x

@maxiflump1 thankfully the bleeding stopped so I haven't spoken to anyone, but thanks for checking up on me :)

@Since2016 that's reassuring to know. My local is a referral only and having just looked it seems you need to get referred between 8:30-11:00 Mon-Fri. So next time I might not wait and see how it's going at lunchtime!

@hayley013, @AliceRR and @Notquiteagandt - I've also been getting some very sharp pains low down when I cough/move to quickly. I think it's round ligament pain.

My NHS prescription exemption card arrived today which is nice, dated all the way to Feb 2020 which feels a lifetime away.

ronniemipperton · 09/07/2018 19:39

So sorry to hear @bluebeee. Awful news. Thinking of you x

Cheery1 · 09/07/2018 19:39

@bluebee, so so sorry. Sending you love and all luck for the future x

Cheery1 · 09/07/2018 19:45

@Camsie30 I’m in Walthamstow! Nearly neighbours. Wanstead is lovely - I run around hollow ponds, sort of in the middle (not so much in this heat plus being preggo).

@DryIce - I agree with Camsie - go have a look. We had great care at Homerton and had a pretty traumatic birth, the fact we’re going back is a testament to that! Care wasn’t so great post nataly but that was mainly because DS was in NICU and SCBU and I’d been discharged so there wasn’t really anyone looking after me....having said that I don’t think I’d have breastfed without the support of the amazing team at Homerton so more positives for sure. Go have a look and you’ll get a feel. I felt very reassured going back for my booking in, and that says a lot after what happened with the birth of DS!

Since2016 · 09/07/2018 20:14

So sorry @Bluebeee

@Cheery1 you sound like you had a similar time to me. DD also in the NICU after an EMCS, had an awful time of it but couldn't fault the care, I'm also going back to the same place. And also re BF - I had some incredible 1:1 support from the NICU nurses and did 15 months after a v rocky start. There's something nice about things feeling familiar though!

DollyDaydreamz · 09/07/2018 20:27

@kintan and @bluebee so sorry for you loss I hope you are getting lots of love and support at this time Flowers @Since2016 like @Fredthespider said this gives me a little hope - thank you for sharing. I went to Dr this morning but the soonest appointment at EPAU is Wednesday afternoon - feels like a lifetime! Still cramping but not painful spotting got red but now back to brown n still very light at the moment. Trying to stay positive while I still can as I know some people bleed n go in to have healthy pregnancies. I never experienced this first though 😩 The just not knowing / waiting game is hard to take- going to ring EAPU myself am and see if I can get in tomorrow!

lanalawr · 09/07/2018 21:04

I'm so sorry @Kintan and @Bluebeee.

@Cheery1 were you on the July 16 thread too? Your name sounds very familiar (I nc- I think on the postnatal thread but am on the FB group too).

hayleyfx · 09/07/2018 21:13

DryIce · 09/07/2018 21:32

@kintan @Bluebeee - so sorry to hear this, will be thinking of you. Thank you for your good wishes, and sending you all the best for the future

DryIce · 09/07/2018 21:33

@Cheery1 @Camsie30 - thanks for you advice, I think I'm won over by the midwife consistency - don't think I saw the same one twice at Whipps.

I'm in Leytonstone - lovely to have virtual neighbours!

somethingfromnothing · 09/07/2018 21:44

This might be a bit TMI but I’ve just had some bright red spotting after a BM has anyone else had spotting after going to the toilet?

thismeansnothing · 09/07/2018 21:47

Aw @bluebee I'm so sorry 🤗💐

MrsY87 · 09/07/2018 21:52

So sorry @Bluebeee & @Kintan look after yourselves.

@somethingfromnothing I've just had a Bm and then noticed a tiny bit of red in cm when I wiped. now slightly freaking out! Fx it's nothing for both of us

Believe I’m 10 + 3
Am only having my booking in appointment next week as doctors referral didn’t go through.
I don’t remember even having one last time

Are people taking partners? Is it bloods on the same day??
I feel really confused considering I have done this before

bubblybrit · 09/07/2018 22:00

@Mrscooper13. Think it differs from place to place but I got bloods taken during my booking appointment. Partners are also welcome to come (mine did) but it was just a lot of questions and form filling to be honest. However DH wanted to come as it’s our first and he didn’t want to miss anything. So think it’s up to you and your OH really.

hayleyfx · 09/07/2018 22:03

I think my appetite may slowly be coming back... 🤣
