Part 3 already! And there is a split in the group. Hopefully everyone joins on this one. Shall we try and get a list of due dates going? I'm also interested to know where people live if they'd like to share. Not sure what other info would be needed. Also if anyone wants to join the fb group let me know.

Fredthespider · 09/07/2018 09:17

@smellsofelderberries hope you’re ok!

I’ve woken up to some spotting this morning, with a single tiny clot. Trying not to stress about it!

maxiflump1 · 09/07/2018 09:59

Sorry to hear this @Fredthespider. Are you going to try and see someone or just see what happens? Fingers crossed everything is ok for you

Fredthespider · 09/07/2018 10:11

Thanks @maxiflump1, I’m currently sat waiting for the car brakes to be replaced! Decided to see how it is at lunchtime and if needed I’ll call Southmead, I think they’re open until 2:30. OH is at work, but I have given him the heads up. Getting a few cramps, but I’m also constipated so that isn’t too surprising. Hoping that’s the cause of the problems!

maxiflump1 · 09/07/2018 10:17

Ah yes fellow Bristolian! Found the staff at Southmead EPU excellent when I have been there before. Hopefully it's just the constipation! Good luck.

FrowningFlamingo · 09/07/2018 10:39

Hi all, just caught up on my way back from
France.
Ferry crossing was great, I was worried I'd feel sick as it was an early morning crossing but I think the time change and the big breakfast on board confused my body and I didn't feel sick at all! I've told DH he needs to get up at 5am and make me a massive fry up every day but he doesn't seem keen for some reason Grin
Sorry for all of you who are feeling rubbish. I have just been having a two hour nauseous slot every morning but that's meant I have been able to rest while everyone else has done the morning shop and washing up after breakfast!
Can't really add to the list from my phone but will do later. Hi to the SE Londoners and I thought someone said they were in Kent too but I can't see them on the list now. I was living in Woolwich until very recently but have just moved to North Kent.

Bluelagoon25 · 09/07/2018 11:10

Anyone else struggling with morning sickness?
I am now 9 weeks and have had it since 3.5weeks.
I am trying to stay positive but it's wearing me down, constantly feeling sick and tired. Throwing up most days too Sad I just really hope it starts to ease in a few weeks!

DollyDaydreamz · 09/07/2018 11:47

Hi all was on original post but haven’t been on for while they fill up so quick! So after super excitement of finally getting BFP after TTC DC2 for 7 months woke this morning to dark brown discharge on wiping (literally the most depressing morning EVER!) Been to Drs and have been booked into EPAU for scan but not till Wednesday afternoon feel as if AF is going to be coming on. But still only brown spotting (less than this am!) really stressed anyone got any advice? Dr said try n keep and open mind - so desperately thinking happy thoughts 😢

AliceRR · 09/07/2018 11:49

Hi All

9 weeks today and had my first proper throw up last night! I often feel queasy / sick but was only very slightly sick once. Last night was that proper heaving until there’s nothing left and brought on by brushing my teeth. The tooth brush in my mouth makes me gag most times...

Today I feel a bit sick. Meeting my friend for lunch at Nandos and just cannot stomach the idea but usually feel better when I do eat...

@Hayley I had some sharp pains low down at the weekend but not for very long. I am small framed too so could be that

Notquiteagandt · 09/07/2018 11:54

@Bluelagoon25

I have severe sickness & have been diagnosed with HG.

If you feel it will help and its making you really really poorly and effecting mental health & quality of life. There is tablets you can get to help.

I just wish I had started them earlier rather than being a martyr to myself. Rather than nievely thinking being so sick was normal. Its so mentally draining.

Notquiteagandt · 09/07/2018 11:58

@DollyDaydreamz good luck 🤞 hope all goes well. If it is any conselation brown blood is old blood. So thats a positive.

@AliceRR I am very small build too and the gynae consultant said to me to exspect more steetching,pulling, growing pains etc as it has to stretch more into a smaller space. Which makes perfect sense.

I am a hormonal wreck every morning! I think I've just cried the last 5 mornings in a row, including at work! Only 8 weeks but have had to tell a few people at work so they understand its hormones and not me buckling under pressure (pitch for new work coming up that I'm on!!)
Food also a struggle. Not being sick, but so queasy and massive food aversions...
Oh and DH fell off a ladder 2 weeks ago and is in agony...severe calf rupture...so I'm then having to do EVERYTHING when I get home
I'm so exhausted and drained Confused
Sorry for the emotional dumping xx

ronniemipperton · 09/07/2018 12:18

Nearly fainted at my booking appointment when they took my bloods... bit embarrassing as I’d just said “oh yes I’ve had loads of blood tests, absolutely fine with them” before having to go and lie down. Still feel really dizzy and unwell so have told work I won’t make it in this afternoon which I feel a bit terrible about but don’t want to faint on the way in :/

Bluelagoon25 · 09/07/2018 12:40

@Notquiteagandt thank you!
I'm throwing up most days but not all the time. I do constantly feel sick and tired... I am managing to keep some liquids and food down. It is starting to get to me so I may speak to my doctor.
I hope you are feeling better!

Cheery1 · 09/07/2018 12:57

Right, I have been lurking for weeks and finally taking the plunge and posting! Had a mc at 10 weeks with my first pregnancy so have been a bit backward in joining in I guess. Nothing compared to the losses of some of you ladies, I’m in admiration of your bravery and positivity.

I’m 10 weeks today, EDD 4th Feb. DC2, DC1 is 2 on Friday. I’m in East London and I’m 39 (@Camsie30 eek indeed!)

Wishing @smellsofelderberries and @Dollydaydreamz all luck today. Sending positive sticky vibes xxx

@Fizzledays - blimey that sounds tough at the moment. Have you got anyone you can ask for a bit of help? People like to help I think, even though it’s really hard to ask (I’m the worst for not asking, but I never mind if people ask me) Hope things get a bit easier my lovely x

fizzledays · 09/07/2018 13:20

Welcome @Cheery1 and thanks for the comments! Hope you're getting on okay so far?

My parents are away at the moment unfortunately, and his mum has a lot on her hands already. It's fine and he's being amazing about it and very appreciative, it's just very exhausting and with the heat preventing any decent sleep (as we're all suffering with) it's challenging! So glad I'll be in third trimester in winter!

jeanzbeanz · 09/07/2018 13:41

Whoop whoop I've just been prescribed cyclizine! The Dr seemed confident it should help the nausea subside and I should see the effect within 24 hours. Feeling so positive about it - just need to make the effort to get dressed and collect it from the pharmacy now!

Yakadee · 09/07/2018 14:04

@Cheery1 - welcome! We're due date twins xx

Camsie30 · 09/07/2018 14:06

@cheery1 which hospital are you going to? I'm going for the Homerton again as they were brilliant with my first, waiting for my booking appt

Cheery1 · 09/07/2018 14:42

Thanks for the welcome!
@Yakadee hiya due date buddy!

@Fizzledays - I’ve not been too bad. Struggling in the heat a bit, and nausea but not too awful, thankfully. Didn’t have any sickness with DS so a bit different this time!

@Camsie30 snap! We had a bit of a drama with my son, so I wanted to make sure all my notes were there so went back to Homerton. We’re closer to Whipps Cross but didn’t get any support from their midwife team when we finally got home so didn’t feel comfortable opting for them this time....Homerton were fab at my booking in, midwife said they’d be extra vigilant with us this time, so feeling glad that we opted for them again. Also did you know they do a scan at 35 weeks now as a matter of course? Think that’s great!

Leonora94 · 09/07/2018 15:05

Had to leave work, was just too hot and I’ve lost all ability to deal with it. It was 42 degrees where I work and all we have is a fan that looks like it’s from 80s to share between four of us. I was sat there sweating feeling sick and dizzy and just said - sorry can’t do this I’m going to work from home, hopefully they’ll be okay. Fair play to everyone sticking it out today 💪🏻👊🏻

powkin · 09/07/2018 15:36

@Camsie30 @Cheery1 - have also chosen Homerton! Waiting for my appointment date too. I’m nearer to Newham but Homerton is nearer my work and I feel safe knowing the area and having friends nearby.

Kintan · 09/07/2018 16:13

Sadly I’m out 💔Lost all pregnancy symptoms a couple of weeks ago, then started spotting on Saturday. By Sunday it was a heavy bleed with clots, and a scan today confirmed it’s all over. We are feeling ok about it and will try again as soon as possible. Feeling very lucky that we already have a beautiful little boy. Wishing everyone on this thread a happy and healthy pregnancy :)

hayley013 · 09/07/2018 16:17

@AliceRR @Notquiteagandt yes midwife agreed this morning that due to my size I prob will feel extra stretching going on, it's settled right down today thankfully. Had my booking appt and all went well, have to be consultant led again due to low BMI, but everything was fine with DD so half expecting the same, just means extra growth scans x
