Thank you everyone for the advice and experience on the low placenta. It is reassuring to hear positive experiences of it moving up even right at the end! A c section wouldn’t be the end of the world I just wanted to be up and about ASAP for my toddler and the fact it’ll be xmas but what will be will be and if I have to stay in bed with DH running around after me then so be it! I spoke to the midwife yesterday afternoon who said they wouldn’t allow me to fly at 28 weeks if it’s still low as the risk of bleeding is too high and they offered me a another scan a few days earlier than my flight but I just can’t wait til then to make a decision so I’ve told work I can’t go. TBH I didn’t really want to go anyway at 28 weeks as it’s a whole week and really full on long days but I didn’t want this as my excuse!

I forgot to watch that programme but wanted to so might get it on catch up.

It was pretty interesting, only 30 minutes so bite sized... pun not intended 😬
Glad to hear you feel supported @Chocaholic1 it sounds like your midwife is understanding too. Like you say, I bet you'll be glad if it at 28 weeks to be staying put!!

Morning ladies :) anything exciting planned for today?

I have the day off work so trying to relax. Visiting the museum this morning and then going home and going to try and learn how to crochet 😂 I find it quite hard to relax and have time off, so have banned myself from any “chores” at home!

Ladies I'm really nervous for my 20week scan. It's the last big milestone!! I shouldn't be as I've felt bub kicking a lot... but I'm actually terrified the closer it gets! 🙈

I've got mine tomorrow and I know what you mean I'm so nervous I went looking at prams yesterday and it made things feel a lot more real!
I'm gonna have a little watch when I finish work... hopefully with jam on toast and a brew 😜

@Cakelaur I'm really excited for you, I remember just how incredibly nervous you were (understandably so) at the beginning and every milestone has been just amazing! What time is your scan? Deep breaths you're nearly there!!

Sorry for incessant messaging - just read on babycentre that when you're not sure how many layers your baby should have on, in general, what you're wearing plus one, works well. I remember we were talking about it a while ago and I'll probably live off this rule!!

hello ladies, had my 20 weeks scan today, was up before six being all nervous!! had nothing to be nervous about, milestone reached, now its time to stop being as anxious, me and OH are having a healthy baby was going to stay team yellow, but my curiosity got the better of me, so I'm proud to say I'm having a little girl!! she was all rolled up and being awkward at first but eventually she wriggled about, now she's done nothing but kick about since coming home. so excited

@SavanahXx omg!! Amazing!! A little girl!! Let's get those pink ones adding up now!! Haha!!! Glad everything went well. Mines in a couple of hours. I'm ya excited and nervous.... and hopefully we'll stay team yellow! Although I'd LOVE to find out!!! Haha!

@GoldilocksTheGraceless scan is at 3.30pm wish id booked it earlier!! But it's almost time. As long as bub has grown as it should. Healthy, happy baby is what I'm hoping for. I'm sure everything is fine, and bub has been kicking away so I know it's defo in there! 🙈
Yeah I was chatting to a friend yesterday about the one more layer than you rule for babies.

Eek!!! It's such a rubbish time though!! Waiting all day! And not knowing when to pee and when to hold!! 😂 if it's first thing I just get up and go! Haha

Haha yeah! I'm peeing like the clappers too I'm not even joking 13 times I got up for a wee last night 😂
My OH counted he was up at 5 for work 🤭

Yeah does feel like your waiting all day! And every 5 mins feels like an hour haha!

I'm so exited tho! I can't wait to see this little mans bean toes and all his lovely squishiness 💙

All sounding positive ladies! @cakelaur was it today at 3.30? Hope all has gone OK?

Ladies all was perfect. It's a BOY! 💙💙 we weren't gonna find out! But we're placenta previa and it's totally blocking the birth canal. So we're unlikely to have the birth we want. So we figured enough surprises. I'm thrilled. Baby is safe and sound and growing perfectly.

@December2018 I’m soooo with you on the peeing thing. Every night I’m up atleast 8 times going for a wee. Surprised I’m not a zombie during the day x x

@MagicalCreatures I had a gut feeling from the start it was a boy. But secretly hoped for a boy!! I thought I'd be more disappointed but I'm just over the moon!! Can't wait to meet him!!

@GoldilocksTheGraceless everything else was perfect. Little boy looks great. 10 fingers, 10 toes lovely measurements, no cleft palate etc. Just the placenta which may decide to move itself.

@kaytees yup, only found out today. All ready for pee patrol!! 😂 haha!!! So happy!!
