MagicalCreatures · 24/07/2018 15:16

😂😂😂 oh my god. Girls. Hilarious. Though Gemsie I do feel for you. That’s awful to wake up too.

I have a sweet little house bunny.
So her poo’s are like cute little balls of chocolate drops. 😂

Haha @December we have a dog similar to a mastiff - I feel your pain!!!

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 24/07/2018 16:51

I'm wetting myself reading this! Thankfully not literally - yet!
Today has tirrrrrrrred me out but instead of finishing work and going to bed I get to trek across London, take a train to Chester, a cab to north wales, and go camping for 5 days with the in laws. 😬

RomPom · 24/07/2018 17:18

@GoldilocksTheGraceless I'm in North Wales at the moment, it's so busy, I try not to leave the house!

DottyA · 24/07/2018 18:36

@gemsie1984 - that sounds horrific! I thought the poo clearing up stopped once they're out of nappies. Obviously not... yuck!

16 week appointment today, at 17+1. Heard the heartbeat which I wasn't expecting. So nice! Esp as I've been worried about lack of movement.

kaytees · 24/07/2018 18:40

@Gemsie1984 that is the grimmest way to start a day - I assume your day could only get better from there?! Right?! You are not filling me with joy at the prospect of potty training...

Does anyone have any advice what to do if you have a fever? Am 18 weeks tomorrow and seem to have an upset tummy and fever ranging between 38.8-39.4... I don't feel feverish and no headache but just not sure if I should be checking in with midwife tomorrow if it's still running high?

Gemsie1984 · 24/07/2018 18:59

@kaytees poor you.. there's def a stomach virus going round, hence my sons issues.. your fever does seem exceptionally high, especially going into the over 39 category. I'd give your MW unit a call and ask for advice..

ND348 · 24/07/2018 19:57

Haha girls making me chuckle today!
For those of you with dogs my MW asked if we had cats and said I should avoid cat little, I said no but what about dogs.... she said best to avoid picking up dog poo too just in case! I don't think there is any medical reason for this as long as you wash your hands but I'm taking it as true and refusing to pick up my dogs poor, much to DH's upset! 😂

December2018 · 24/07/2018 20:08

Haha! I use a pair of disposable rubber gloves and use a shovel (I need a shovel with these turds)
Those doggy bags don't even pick up the little round stragglers left behind.... industrial bin liners in this house ladies 😂😂
And I always wash & sanitise my hands after
I was told to stay away from cat litter tho, something about their poo is bad for baby or something... not sure I may have dreamt that lol

December2018 · 24/07/2018 20:12

kaytees I'm no good with all the midwife stuff but I would deffo call for sure and just reassure yourself

A couple of paracetamol will bring down your fever tho hun big bumpy hugs from me and the boy tho! Sounds rubbish!

balalalala · 24/07/2018 22:17

Oh what a challenge to cope with the poop! Well done for managing! My dd decided a couple of weeks back to have her first ever poo in the bath... Only I was in there with her. Never moved so fast in my life! Ewwww.

Cakelaur · 24/07/2018 22:54

If it makes you feel better this f~cker breaks out of his cage sometimes at night and sh~ts all of the floor!! And he's a Saint Bernard! So tell me about big poops!! Hahhaha!! This was two day ago!!

Morning everyone, haven't been on for a while as had 10 days filled with ridiculous anxiety including 2 trips to hospital with worries which have thankfully turned out to just be me being over cautious after what happened in 1st pregnancy. Anyway now 8 days away from 20 week scan which feels like forever but I did feel my first kicks on the outside yesterday which was just amazing and has taken away a HUGE amount of anxiety immediately!

Nice to hear how everyone's pregnancies are progressing! (And also laughing along with you girls)

MagicalCreatures · 25/07/2018 08:53

😂😂 @Cakelaur. Oh my god. Look at him hiding in the corner looking really guilty and sheepish. They know it’s naughty. 😂

Hi @Wiggle4. Sorry to hear that but glad your feeling abit better now. I’m having a lot of anxiety at the moment. I’m 2 weeks from my 20 week Scan and with an anterior placenta, I can’t feel anything yet. So I find myself checking husband heartbeat with my Doppler every other day until I can feel him kick. Then I think I might relax a little bit x

*his - not husband. 😂

December2018 · 25/07/2018 08:58

Haha magical I was wondering why you would be checking husbands heartbeat for a second then 😂😂

OMG! He is beautiful! I can just tell he gives the best cuddles ever!!
He makes up for the poo with his amazing floppy ears haha

Aww I'm so sorry to hear about your anxiety worries girls! .... it's all for a good cause! And not long left now!
I'm counting down till my 20 week scan too 7 days to go! I'm actually really looking forward to it can't wait to see how much he's grown

December2018 · 25/07/2018 09:06

These are my shit machines 😂 the picture with the bottle he was being very naughty! Only went for a wee and he'd ate a full box of blueberries and chewed on my full bottle of water so there was a big wet patch on the floor 😂👍

@Cakelaur your dog is just the cutest thing I have ever seen! I'm so jealous. Though maybe not of the cleanup!

@Wiggle4 sorry to hear your anxiety has been making it harder for you - it's really hard to reason with yourself isn't it! Not long until next scan, thankfully.

I ended up phoning midwife this morning re fever and tummy bug, she said I was about the 6th person to phone with it this morning (so beware anyone else in SW London, seems to be going round!). As there's no pain or bleeding she just said to rest and keep fluids up. My poor toddler doesn't understand why mummy doesn't want to play!

AGirlinLondon · 25/07/2018 10:36

I knew you guys were dog people. I just knew it 😊

Gemsie1984 · 25/07/2018 10:43

@kaytees we're in SW London, too. I knew something was going about! 😷 Hope you feel better soon..

MagicalCreatures · 25/07/2018 13:01

@December2018 😂 I know. Bloody iPhone.
Your dogs though 😍 the smaller one in the middle picture looks like he’s grinning. And the bigger one just looks too school for cool 😂 x

OP posts:
Cakelaur · 25/07/2018 17:12

@December2018 look at them! 😍 I couldn't imagine having two!! My guy is enough work already and he's only 5 months! Haha!

I've got my 20week scan in 6 days!! Can't wait!! It's my last bit of nerves! Then hopefully smooth sailing to birth!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

My sickness seems to be back. And I've lost a kilo this week. Which I'm not sure is normal in this trimester! 🤷‍♀️
But loving feeling bub wriggling away! I'm working from home this week cos the muppet puppy hurt his foot so he's under supervision, and because I'm sat doing paperwork I can feel bub all the time!! #winning

AGirlinLondon · 25/07/2018 17:45

Haha @cake that’s nice!

Is the heat making anyone else feel sick? I went out for an hour today and got too much sun I think...

kaytees · 25/07/2018 19:23

@Cakelaur don't worry too much about the weight loss - as long as you slowly / steadily gain from about 20 weeks onwards that's what counts (that's what I was told last time anyways, could be a load of bs though!).

I believe the SW London super bug has finally departed our house, just in time for it to be a million degrees tomorrow.. not looking forward to trying to entertain a heat addled toddler!
