Hello all! I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo and am apparently due 1st March with my third baby. Now feeling that familiar paranoia about what might go wrong, but hopeful all will be well. Is anyone else due in March yet? 😬

I too had to go on the website, couldn't figure out how to do it on the apo

SuperSharpShooter82 · 04/07/2018 22:10

Hi all. Struggling to keep up again but just to say I would be happy to join an FB group but a bit further down the line. It's so early right now think I will stick to the anonymity of Mumsnet until I've had the 12 week scan and tests!

Hopefully some people stick around on here but don't feel you've got to just because I'm not comfortable making this "real" yet!!

frankiefumbles · 04/07/2018 22:17

I'm off duty now! Zzzz! Will check PMs again in morning.

mostimproved · 04/07/2018 22:21

@frankiefumbles I have PMd you - couldn't send a screenshot in the PM so had to describe my rather neglected FB profile. Looking forward to being in the group and to the time starting to go quicker. I've booked an early scan with Window to the Womb in Walthamstow for 22nd July which feels easier to count down to than my 12 week scan.

Shampooeeee · 04/07/2018 22:23

I’m holding out for a while before I join the fb group- too scared of jinxing it!

Velcro88 · 04/07/2018 23:20

I'm holding out too for now, but will be very excited to join a bit further down the road! Things like seeing the GP in the morning and having my booking in apt with the midwife will help it feel like the real deal I think! So lovely that this is such a proactive group. Nice to hear from you guys who had first appointments today!

Meanwhile.... I'm lying here, totally unable to sleep despite being v tired following TWO nap-less days (unheard of for the last week or so!), I think because I guzzled down a pizza to myself 4hours ago (hubby's away for the week = fending for myself = pizza), and it's taking SO LONG TO DIGEST! I feel like I'm 6 months in already 😂.

P.s. also downloaded "kegel" trainer app for pelvic floor exercises/reminders.... I WILL be keeping my pee in when I sneeze!

RachaelT · 04/07/2018 23:47

I'm going to hold out too - just until 12 weeks feels to bonding and like @Velcro88 said I don't want to jinx it.

Also, @Velcro88 which Kegel app have you downloaded as there's loads? And would you recommend it?

KneesupGaston · 05/07/2018 01:23

Have just seen a few posts about symptoms, I remember from my last pregnancy the thing about symptoms is that they come and go in waves so don't worry if you feel queasy one day and fine the next.

I took another digi today to see if it's gone up from 1-2 weeks and got an error message. Grrr. Really need to stop testing as I've had a positive and missed my period, I have to just accept that I am pregnant.

Velcro88 · 05/07/2018 07:28

@RachaelT it's just called Kegel Trainer PFM Exercises. It's good for reminding you to do a quick session and times squeezes and rests, but each session is very quick - which is good in terms of - ahem - squeezing it in, but there might be more thorough/challenging ones out there? I figure it's good to just get started! There is a paid bit with more levels so maybe if I get very enthusiastic I could do that... Has anyone else found another?

frankiefumbles · 05/07/2018 07:29

@Velcro88 if you were to pay, you could say your bits have a personal trainer 😂😂😂 (sorry...!!)

HidCat · 05/07/2018 07:37

Love the idea of a FB group but will hold off joining until later on. Will still be on MN regardless though!

RachaelT · 05/07/2018 08:02

Thank you @Velcro88

I was thinking about downloading the NHS one but thought why pay £2.99 if there's good free ones 😉

Velcro88 · 05/07/2018 08:18

@frankiefumbles 😆 how tempting... That'll go in the 'pro' column!

Velcro88 · 05/07/2018 08:19

@RachaelT Zactly. Give it a whirl! 👍🏻

Murphyrocks · 05/07/2018 09:28

@frankiefumbles my bits had private physio for quite some time after my DS was born, I didn't even know such things existed! 🤣

ladycarlotta · 05/07/2018 09:34

@murphyrocks oh my gosh! deluxe bits!

I would love to join the FB group but I think I'll wait a little while - feels too jinxy rn. You guys have to promise you won't all vanish from here in the meantime please!

puravida31 · 05/07/2018 09:40

FB group sounds good but it’s too early for me yet, so I’ll be rattling around here for now!

@murphyrocks what was your decongestant? I’m getting so fed up of this cold now!

Emmafh3 · 05/07/2018 10:02

Woke up this morning absolutely exhausted, and now I'm out of breath just walking around the garden. Yay for some sort of symptoms!
How is everybody else this morning?

RedRobin7 · 05/07/2018 11:14

@Emmafh3 I'm also feeling exhausted today! First day it's hit me but could just be because I had a bad sleep. According to my LMP I'm 6 weeks today. My app says this is the week I should start feeling more symptoms so fingers crossed I do!

@ladycarlotta We'll still be hanging on here 😊

I wasn't sure whether to join on fb yet as I had to leave the last one I joined but for me I think it's a way of being positive. Not really feeling positive but I'm trying! Totally understand why most of you want to wait!

HidCat · 05/07/2018 11:16

Registered with the midwife this morning. Was shaking after, suddenly got very real!

Still nauseous today and weirdly my son (5) wash brushing his teeth before pointing to my tummy and saying "there's a baby in there". WTAF? Last week he asked me if I had one and I said no but today he was categorically convinced I'm pregnant. I told him we'll have to wait to find out. How do they do it?

thefirsttimer · 05/07/2018 11:22

@HidCat I can't work out whether that's amazing or creepy Grin. Who needs HPTs with kids around?!

HidCat · 05/07/2018 11:55

@thefirsttimer I know! It's not the first time I've heard of it happening either.

Midwife want to see me tomorrow - not sure if I should be nervous or not....

RedRobin7 · 05/07/2018 11:57

@HidCat That is so weird!!

Anyone else's DH panicking as much as mine? He's so anxious about becoming a dad for the first time and also already worrying about our financial situation but we have already saved for this scenario for many years!! I just want to tell him to chill the F out but feel like I'm being mean and not trying to help him. I told him it's early days yet, wait to see if we make it to 12 weeks first!

TheWanderlust · 05/07/2018 12:08

I've given in and gone baggy mat dress today. My bloat has reached epic proportions and I look about 20 weeks rather than 5! 😒
