Hello all! I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo and am apparently due 1st March with my third baby. Now feeling that familiar paranoia about what might go wrong, but hopeful all will be well. Is anyone else due in March yet? 😬

Hi @MistakenHoliday and congratulations, welcome to the March-ers! Do you fancy doing our standard intro?

So sorry other ladies are feeling under the weather; this cold is really pissing me off now but most of my other symptoms seem to have abated for now. But of course that then makes me worry something is wrong! Can't win...

Wineandchoccy · 01/07/2018 09:24

Is anybody else dizzy? I keep going lightheaded

Wineandchoccy · 01/07/2018 09:25

MistakenHoliday welcome and congratulations Smile

Wineandchoccy · 01/07/2018 09:27

I bought pregnancy vitamins from Asda they are huge not very good to take 1st thing in the morning.

I have recently lost a stone on Slimming World and now just feel a bit of a blob again Sad

I think my only symptom at the moment is how tired I am. Not looking forward to the zeppelin tits - I'm still haunted by the memories of last time!

Murphyrocks · 01/07/2018 09:58

@MistakenHoliday I'm in Leeds too and so is @hamandpease! And @WildFlower2018 isn't far away in York 😊 Yeah I hated the Zeppelin tits too!

puravida31 · 01/07/2018 10:10

Welcome @Mistakenholiday and congratulations!

@frankiefumbles sorry to hear about your horrible dream, what do our brains do to us?! I have been wondering if this is another symptom though, as I’ve been having loads of vivid random dreams lately. Nothing horrible, just bizarre!

TheWanderlust · 01/07/2018 10:29

Just realised I never did this so should probably introduce myself properly.

@Wineandchoccy yes, definitely dizzy. I also don't usually get sea sick but wasn't great on the ferry. When I lay down last night it felt like the whole camper van was rocking (it wasn't!). Definitely get dizzy when I stand and I swear my balance was a bit out on the bike today. I only managed five miles but I think I'll try again this evening when I feel like queasy. Very impressed by the ladies who have managed to get out for runs!

@Murphyrocks I'm holding out hope that some of us of Team Nausea May actually get used to it and feel less sick. Am I dreaming again? 😂

I'm also on the multivitamins but I take them in the evenings.

frenchgal · 01/07/2018 10:50

Anyone else has a mini belly at 5+5? So weird.
I also have lower back pain on one side. These early weeks are quite stressful, every ache, I keep worrying about a MC.

Murphyrocks · 01/07/2018 13:03

@frankiefumbles last time I had nausea most of the first trimester but it eased off from about week 10 and was gone by the first scan, so hopefully it won't last the whole pg!

@Wineandchoccy yes I'm getting dizzy spells too, particularly in this heat!

MistakenHoliday · 01/07/2018 14:24

@frankiefumbles @puravida31 it's so funny, I've been having insane dreams lately but didn't hunk anything of them I TIL you mentioned yours! So vivid...

MistakenHoliday · 01/07/2018 14:25

@Murphyrocks @hamandpease yay! Fellow northerners! 😉😂

Sarahandduckarehigh · 01/07/2018 14:49

Can I join? I naively thought I might be one of the first March ladies but I see there are already 14 pages!

Hello everyone!

BFP today at 13dpo; due 9th March according to the nhs calculator.

I'm 34; live in Kent, work in London. We have one 20 month old boy already so this will be my second, and almost cerfamily my last!

How is everyone feeling? I just have vague nausea so far.

Off to read the thread!!

Can i join the thread please. I'm 4+3 with my 3rd. Had early MC in March at 6 weeks this year. So far already this pregnancy is very different to my others. Boobs are not as sore as I remember last pregnancies but tender non the less, and extremely veiny. 😂
I'm bloated also and very nauseas. I've never had this before in any pregnancy.
I've already vomited twice today😕 and am constantly nauseas which im mistaking for feeling hungry. I'm quickly learning that eating when im feeling like this is an error😂. Looks like little and often will be my way forward.

Olivia2019 · 01/07/2018 16:21

Hello fellow March Ladies,

I'm joining you from the other March group. Just stumpled upon this one. So a bit more about myself.

Name:Olivia - not my real name Wink
Age:31
Current DC or 1st:This will be our 1st Grin
Location:North East
EDD: 3rd of March

I went into Tesco today and I found these amazing soft and wirelss bras and they will be my life savers. My two friends have grown quite a bit already (I think I am 5+1) and non of my bras fit. In this heat I have opted for summer dresses at work and some of my colleagues (the female ones) have commented on my nice chest and joked that I must be pregnant. Little do they know I actually am Grin My DH hopes they continue growing haha I am dreading what I will look like in a few months. Any excuse for new clothes I guess Wink

WildFlower2018 · 01/07/2018 16:22

Hello to all the new arrivals to the thread 👋

Murphyrocks · 01/07/2018 16:50

Welcome @Olivia2019 (agree the supermarket special soft bras are a lifesaver), @sarahandduckarehigh (awesome pseudonym!) and @Rachh84 (date twins!)

MistakenHoliday · 01/07/2018 17:14

@frankiefumbles and @Wineandchoccy what multi-vitamins are you taking? I'm having folic acid but want something else too and can't make my mind up what to get!

hamandpease · 01/07/2018 17:21

@MistakenHoliday 👋👋👋

Wineandchoccy · 01/07/2018 17:25

groceries.asda.com/product/womens-health-pregnancy/asda-women-pregnancy-multivitamins-minerals-1-a-day-tablets/910001558901 These are the ones I bought I was taking seven seas conception ones.

Wineandchoccy · 01/07/2018 17:27

NHS recommends folic acid and Vitamin D.
I was very low in iron in my last pregnancy and these have iron in them as well

Murphyrocks · 01/07/2018 17:27

@MistakenHoliday I'm aware you didn't ask me but wading in anyway(!) I think folic acid, calcium and folic acid are considered kind of the holy trifecta of pregnancy supplements? All obviously included in a prenatal vitamin but iron and calcium can actually inhibit absorption of the other so personally I buy all mine individually and take calcium, vitamin d (helps your body absorb the calcium) and omega 3 in the morning then a b-complex, iron and folic acid at night as iron tablets can make morning sickness worse so easier to sleep through it! And it's actually cheaper buying the own brand single vitamins than branded pregnancy vitamins so I prefer it.

Just my 2 pennies worth!

Murphyrocks · 01/07/2018 17:29

Sorry meant folic acid, calcium and iron not folic acid again! And yes as @Wineandchoccy says NHS recommends vitamin D too.

MistakenHoliday · 01/07/2018 17:37

@Wineandchoccy thank you!

@Murphyrocks that's massively helpful, thank you! I already take vitamin D (I have teeth paranoia 🙄) but will get iron and calcium too! Good tip about taking the folic acid at night - I can vividly remember last time's morning sickness and dreading it reappearing...
