@Gemsie1984 I’m certain I’ve had a bit of leaking from my nipples. Only a couple of times and a tiny amount but it’s perfectly normal. I’m only 9 weeks.
@SecretStash that’s fantastic. I wanted to try and film abit of mine yesterday but I felt like I was being cheeky asking so I didn’t. Have you got any pics x x

Aha! I’ve figured out how to put a fake name up. Finally!

Here’s the video, as you can hear my own heartbeat gets in the way a little bit. At one point you can hear them both at the same time.

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 25/05/2018 15:06

Omg @SecretStash that is INCREDIBLE 😲 I can't get over that 🤩🤩🤩

Cakelaur · 25/05/2018 15:16

All is fine. Perfect little bean. Looks like a teddy bear. Measuring a day ahead of schedule at 10+5. 😍🌈

SecretStash I've just ordered myself one off eBay!
That's amazing! X

SecretStash · 25/05/2018 15:47

Just a note. I have very sticky out bumps (I’ve always wondered my uterus is tilted?!) and I have a prominent hard section of uterus to aim for. I have no idea if this is normal or unusual but it helps me find the heartbeat.
I just thought I’d better mention it in case it is because of something such as a tilted uterus and others get a Doppler and can’t find the heartbeat.
The woman who sold me this Doppler warned me not to try using it before 12 weeks and said she couldn’t find her baby’s heartbeat with it until she was 20 weeks pregnant.

Gemsie1984 · 25/05/2018 16:29

I've just bought one from Amazon too.. the sound was so clear!

Usernamechecksout · 25/05/2018 17:14

So sorry, thinking of you

babywhen · 26/05/2018 12:13

I am hoping this isn't TMI but I'm 10+2 weeks and I have started getting discharge now most times I go to the toilet. Is this normal?

Gemsie1984 · 26/05/2018 12:18

Yes normal it's called Leukorrhea.. it shouldn't be itchy or have an odour. I've had it since 5 weeks, now use a panty-liner.

December2018 · 26/05/2018 22:00

Yeah I've been getting the discharge also 😊

Cakelaur · 26/05/2018 22:06

Yup I have that. No odour or anything. Sometimes has a yellowish/cream colour to it. I panicked at first and thought it was an infection. But all clear and totally normal.

Decemberglee · 27/05/2018 11:10

Is it normal for nausea to ramp up massively at about 9 weeks. I was just feeling generally queasy and tired from 6 weeks but at about 9 weeks it's constant day and night heaving constantly but I think I'm stopping myself actually being sick. Nothing eases it and I just can't function. Feel woozy and exhausted. I wonder whether I should get something from the GP as I won't be able to work and can't even face being upright. I don't remember it this bad last time Sad

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 27/05/2018 11:27

@Decemberglee I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling ☹️ I was in your position about 10 days ago at 8 weeks. I got a prescription from my GP which helped a lot, and also now I wear nausea bands on my wrists every minute of the day. £7 from behind the counter at Superdrug. I swear by them. Good luck! X

Decemberglee · 27/05/2018 12:11

Thanks! I will go and see them. I have the bands and they aren't helping much at all. They were before it got really bad. I'm just hoping it doesn't hang about too long as my job makes it very difficult to feel poorly!!

emwithme · 27/05/2018 12:17

Definitely go to the GP...I was just about coping from 6 - 8 weeks but after that it got worse and I've been on meds since then. Now got it sorted to something that works. Hoping that now I'm 13 weeks I can start reducing it.

Cakelaur · 27/05/2018 13:21

@Decemberglee I had nausea from 6weeks right on cue at 8weeks I threw up for the first time. 9 weeks it because ongoing. Day and night. Empty stomach, full stomach. Im now 11weeks and it's started to calm a little. I generally keep day time meals down. Now I have the odd morning wretch on an empty stomach and an evening vomit sesh!! Sorry tmi! I've heard sickness bands (the acupressure ones are a god send) I'll let you know as I've ordered them over the weekend. I'm knackered and weak and I've lost a good couple of kilos in a week. But I don't want to take any pills for it. I also find it strangely comforting as I had an mmc at 8 weeks and the sickness never ramped up. But you have to do what's best for you and your baby. Xx

Wanttomakemincepies · 27/05/2018 13:36

For the ladies with really bad sickness, could be hyperemesis. There is a group on here in full of tips and support. HG isn't just usual MS and we are a lovely bunch xx

Cakelaur · 27/05/2018 13:41

@Wanttomakemincepies I don't know if mine is HG as I can keep down water and now some meals. I'd hate to complain and other have it so so much worse.

Wanttomakemincepies · 27/05/2018 13:56

If you can't keep water down is post probably is HG and need to speak to GP/MW/A+E/EPU if you have one. Bean will still be getting everything it needs but you will get dehydrated quickly. That is a medical emergency, especially with the presence of ketones in your urine. Understand you may not want meds but it may have to be a discussion for you with your HCP. I couldn't function without mine. Please visit the HG group, lots of tips and tricks for managing. Have you tried ice lollies? Also lots of support and understanding from people who are and have been there. It does get better eventually SmileThanks
